Thank you for this great mix CF ❤ when I was born the band didn't exist anymore 😢 but I'm proud to say that my dad was at these shows (yes, he followed Zeppelin everywhere they performed in Japan) and my uncle worked the gigs at the Budokan, he was a sound engineer there 😊

Thanx for this. The one tour I still kick myself for not going. Saw them in UK, France, Germany, US.
Didn't go to Australia either. Do you think Perth '72 will ever surface?

I’m no expert on ‘72 Japan audience recordings, but this sounds better than many I’ve heard. Would love to hear more knowledgeable opinions.

On the 2nd and 3rd the shows were at the Budokan in Tokyo, on the 4th it was at the Festival Hall in Osaka. Both venues are known for their excellent acoustics. Deep Purple also performed at these venues in August 1972, and the shows resulted in the legendary album Made In Japan
