I'd like to say to all of you complaining, 1.) THIS IS A FOREIGN MOVIE! ITS NOT GOING TO BE PERFECT IN ENGLISH 2.) The books take place in Germany really but they when they were translated I'm pretty sure they changed settings so it would make sense that they were speaking English so this is why they don't have British accents 3.) Also when the books were translated they changed her name from "Gwendolyn" to "Gwenthy" for some odd reason. That is all thank you

it was in theaters spring 2013 (in germany) and the DVD is also out yet but idk if there is a english version of it. only in german as far as i know. :/

This would have been better if dubbed by English people, I mean it is set in London and in the books they always sounded posh. I personally think the accents would have given a better feel to the film. Other than that, I didn't Madam Rossini looking this way.

In the English version she might be called gwyneth, but in the original books (which are in german) her name is Gwendolyn. (Which is also her name in the dutch books)

the american language originated in the uk. People from England speak english, they just have an accent; just like americans have an accent.
