I wonder if Anne would look so lovely in her natural state. So, what sets her apart, sans makeup, plucked brows, from frizzy to smooth, contact lenses, & wardrobe? Dressing to suit her body shape, sure, but mainly her posture - more than standing up straight, it's how you hold yourself - attaining this gives you a feeling of confidence which makes you look better. One other thing. Her smile.
Seriously, for anyone who said they just casted an already beautiful actress to play ugly-to-beautiful girl and that there's no way to become beautiful with just eyebrows pluck etc, have you ever tried to take care of yourself? I do agree that straightening her hair might be a little too much and offensive for those with natural curls, but it's only to emphasize how she's a geek who never paid attention to beauty. If you looked at her mom's hair, Mia wouldn't have such a big curls if she had regularly took care of her hair. Plucking eyebrows, skin treatment and etiquette class were to make her presentable for formal event as a royal. They're necessary for an heir of a kingdom. I read the book and it was SO different. First of all, she lived with her uncle and aunt who didn’t give her new things. Still, they kept her safe. She didn’t kiss a boy, didn’t have a chauffeur that was like a guardian angel, didn’t go through all of the “normal” stuff. See what I mean? As much as I love this movie, I do have to admit that it does contribute to my 8 year old self having low self-esteem. LOL. Because I have curly hair and it made me feel like having straighter hair would make me prettier 😬
But I always wanted curly hair when I was younger! It actually turns out my hair actually is curly -- at least a little bit. I just didn't know how to take care of it, so it was always just sort of frizzy and feathery. So, yes, we need to see some makeovers starting with curls and ending with better-maintained curls. (That fashion designer was sort of a prick, anyway.)

She was beautiful with glasses, too :-)
Hathaway is a peach. If I got a chance, I would try to befriend her in a heartbeat.
Kindve depends on the person. Do whatever you like
No way her hair was such a glow down.
All she needed was a pair of glasses that suited her face. Or contacts if she wanted to wear them.
I love it short movie thank you for sharing and sending full support godbless
Courage and responsibilities you are ready to take you will be a great princess
This movie made me love Anne Hathaway. I've loved every movie she's been in ever since. Thanks for the nostalgic recap. I enjoyed it. 💕
What's the name of the movie??

@@PriyankaKumbar "Princess Diaries" I think? And you welcome ☺️
I hate these kind of movies. How can you look at this woman and not think she's gorgeous long before they plucked and painted her up?
Ikr she’s Anne Hathaway you can’t make her ugly 😂
the hair “make over” too omg :/ curly hairstyle is great tho..
Have u even watched the full movie?

Where I come from, you don't marry the queen, the queen marries you. You don't marry the princess but she does you.
I felt after watching this video I felt I’m in the cenema
The princess diaries will always have a special place in my heart.
They didn't know she is the queen.
But starts to sing the entire live aid stage by Queen band.

THE WHOLE SERIES MADE MY CHILDHOOD FEEL LIKE IT WAS ACTUALLY AN CHILDHOOD,,
Soooo no one’s gonna talk about how she didn’t wash her hair after it was straightened throughout the whole movie???
Beautiful, will done!
And I’m so glad she ain’t end up fully dating her boy bestie cuz he wasn’t it 😂
I'm glad I'm a princess too like her and that's really cool that she stopped the bullying and it was nice that she's the princess and she doesn't get bullied again.
You are a princess??
May i know which country's princess you are?

It’s actually funny that Mandy Moore and Anne Hathaway are both close friends and yet they play enemies. Mandy says that Anne’s smooshing the ice cream on her outfit was one of her favorite scenes to film.
Hi 👋 there? How are you doing? Hope you’re fine and staying safe?
This video was very interesting but it's not the first story I've heard that has a twist to it. It's still clever though 🥰😍👍
Ah the 2000s.... where the heroine's best friend is required to be quirky.
In the scene where mia was reading her father's letter, the prince shown as writing diary is anna hathaway's own father
Oh What!!! No way!! 🤣
What? Really? That's amazing 🥰👍👏
I love that movie , your resume of it was perfect
what a beautiful love story of a shy girl
Plot: You are suddenly the Queen of an whole country
Thanks for the recap. It's almost like I watched a movie without having to spend over an hour or two in front of a screen
She's mesmerising like always 😍
Amazing video...im so excited to watch this friend thank you
She’s not the queen? Her grandmother is-
Hun I’ve seen this movie.
Both are queen, but Mia is pure queen because of her lata father. Meanwhile her grandmother is not pure queen, she only queen only when she got married.
Can I just say her own brother ( ex brother,,) has a crush on her -

I sooo love one of the songs sung in this movie.. it's called Breakaway by Kelly Clarkson. I always play it whenever I'm sad and lonely
Love the story! Interesting twist! Interesting with Julie Andrews!
Yes would like to c more of them video s i quite enjoyed watching mia as being tha royal princess & her best frend
She is stunning.
Hello Yuen how are you doing?
it's sad tho that she had to straighten her hair to be considered pretty
True
seriously i would've been so pissed if i was her, i also have curly hair and all she literally needed was hot oil and a few stuff to tame her hair fuck that guy
Lmao ❄️
She looks better with straight hair tho
@@pepperdayjackpac4521 yeah I think straight hair looks really good on her but she was pretty with her curly hair too. It’s just the fact that they think she is not pretty with curly hair that is triggering me
