Unlike any other "police" channel I've seen on UA-cam, you actually put some editing skills to good use & show a complete story... not just throw up released footage as is. And I really appreciate you're not just a one trick pony, like one channel that only shows officer involved shootings. Your work is appreciated! 👏 👏 👏

Personally I'd assume the person who stole the car and refuses to let me out has intentions to kill or do worse to me, it's a dire situation and even if it meant the car losing control and crashing you are in a good position to injure or kill the driver from the back seat.
To be clear if they didn't know you were in the car and let you out when they did it's likely they just want your property but if you are kidnapped and being moved to another location assume you are already dead and fight back accordingly.

Admirable goal! I pray you succeed. Sadly, many great officers are leaving because of dangerous understaffing while the public attitude continues to deteriorate. It’s disgusting that politicians have demonized law enforcement and divided people, teaching people to see the colour of other’s skin and violence is encouraged. Sadly also, Leos end up going to the same places and dealing with the same people repeatedly which makes them unavailable to patrol and prevent crime by their presence. Be careful where you decide to apply to work. Wish you every success.

@@trashyraccoon2615 I live in Canada and have cop family on all sides. Cops here so liberal in most cases I’m shocked they don’t hold the door for crooks as they exit a crime. In Quebec they are hardcore drones sadly, opposite to here. We have kneecapped our police and they die every day because they hesitate to protect themselves. If you want to give criminals the benefit of the doubt, then we need to finance social workers and send them out to all the calls. We are expecting cops to be parents, counsellors, social workers, psychiatrists, community peacemakers, to assist victims, and so much more! No other professional is faced with such danger while being expected to professionally drive, hand to hand combat, know the laws and do proficient paperwork, attend court and that’s just what comes to mind. I know that they are leaving the force in droves and departments aren’t replacing them. Those with firearms aren’t allowed to use them for protection and they are closer every day to taking them away from us completely including hunting rifles. They passed a law that was already obsolete and called in all the experts and then flat lied about the amendment taking hunting tools. More training isn’t the answer. Rehabilitation of addicts and criminals, mental health help, including travelling nurses making sure people are stable on medication and scores of other professions can be involved, but heaping more training on people who are trained half to death while making pi$$ poor wages and expecting them to be all things makes no sense at all. Sorry, but the grass is definitely not greener here. A peaceful protest saw mounted police trample a disabled senior, they aren’t better either. The gangs are pouring in over the borders, so it should be the Wild West here soon too. Once I saw too much I stopped watching mainstream media. Then I really got an education. @@trashyraccoon2615 by the liberals I was referring to the government. Right winger lmao nah. My kids would laugh so hard at your comment! The point is though, that no other profession is taxed to deal with the social problems that cops are. That needs replacing across the board with people that do it well, and the funding needs putting in place. Homeless and drug addicted steal, for example. We need to address the issues before sending in Leo’s. Why not save them for active shooters etc. Hostage takings and kidnappings bring in professional negotiators. That’s what I am talking about. Where I grew up in the UK they have a mental health car that responds to anything that seems like their cup of tea. Sending armed enforcement to everything isn’t the best we can do. Sunny skies here, thanks! Grass isn’t greener here, not at all. The government paid 600 million for the “independent journalists” here though, I don’t imagine they wish to make the PM an enemy. They signed paperwork saying as much. Our shiny new Minister will be cracking down on what we can say and do online as well, pretty sure. She said as much.

Technically this isn't fraud because he is a rapist and he legally gave up his right to make his own decisions.

There isn't really much to show he intended to kidnap her so much as he just wanted the car and she happened to be in it. He also didn't even try to prevent her from contacting the police or actually take her anywhere so the problem is they can't actually make the charge stick. False imprisonment is much easier to prove because he held her against her will regardless of whether he did anything to her. They also can't stick GTA because there's no evidence whatsoever he was going to keep the car for any length of time. So, what happened here is they stuck with the charges they could actually get him with instead of going for the ones that his lawyer would immediately talk them down from. Makes the whole process faster instead of just gunning for whatever you can come up with. But sure, drag it out through legal battles instead, it'll give the public more court tv to watch.

It's possible kidnapping would have applied, but it's likely the DA decided on false imprisonment instead because kidnapping might not stick, because the individual didn't force the victim into the vehicle but, instead, wouldn't allow them to leave the vehicle.
