The moment I saw the exterior I was like, “no way! He bought the bowling alley at the Eagle Ridge Mall!” I used to frequent there all the time. Good luck to you and your business. Excited to see what you do down the road with the business!
I used to be a Brunswick mechanic, and I loved working on those A-2 pinsetters! Even though bowling is a dying sport, it's still wonderful to see a well-maintained center!!
The brunswick a2 is actually a solid machine. Maintenance is key for low costs. Chasers..mechanics that do nothing will ruin things. Been on the a2 15 years. Turrets key to it all. Best of luck !!
Congrats on buying a bowling alley, yes arcade machines are a huge money maker especially weekends. My Brother, 2 sisters and I own two bowling centers. One is in California near the desert and the other is in Nevada near Reno. One of our centers has 60 lanes and the other has only 20. Our 20 lane center has still the old classic wooden surface lanes and our big center we just refurbished 2 years ago with brand new Brunswick Gs Nxt Pinsetters with now all refurbished synthetic lanes to cut down on the maintenance and installation costs. We now also are getting lots of New sponsors from all these popular Bowling companies since the refurbishment.
Go to Bars for young and old and start a league specific to just your bowling alley. Also host Friend Meeting where your bowling alley becomes a place for people to buy a ticket and meet new people while they eat, bowl & possibly have pool tables and darts
What’s the best way to get the funds to start a bowling alley business if you have only just above 2K in savings? Is there any funding types to support the business venture
What you do for a living reminds me of the reality TV show "Storage Wars" where people bid low on storage full of stuff and try to sell it for a higher amount.
Winter Haven has a movie theater 13 miles away and a bowling alley 10 miles away. Eagle Ridge is a dying mall, and is most definitely not packed on the weekend! Good luck with this though. Source: lived 17 years a couple miles from this mall.
No one ever talks about how expensive it is to own and operate a bowling center. Maybe because they don't know until after they make the video about how they bought one.
Living the dream my friend. I want to own a car lot and a Junk Yard some day. But getting too old I think. my dreams i fear will remain just that. Dreams.
I been wanting to own a 2 sheet ice rink. It has been a dream of mine forever. If i had a rink. I would want to have a nice big arcade area like you got. Have a nice restaurant inside so during a hockey game, people could eat a full course meal whike watching the gsme. I want to have the restaurant centrred ehere people can sit in a warmer enviroment, but still watch game whike they eat. Both rink floors would be concrete base so after hockey season, i can melt tbe ice, and use one side as a roller rink, and that would go great with the arcade games. Would possibly love to have a fireplace in the restaurant area for added ambieance as well. I also do hvacr so i can keep all the ice rink refrigeration running at it peak. I even do electrical as well so i am all set there. I just hope i would have time to do what i actually love, and that is ice skating.
Id keep half of the bowling alleys and id then replace that side with a load of pool tables arcades and air hockey tables a small mini golf section and all a few other things
Make sure you have bowling league nights to fill those voids on the weekdays

🎱🎳🎮 Congratulations 👏
You own the alley's right.. Then refilm this entire thing once you've figured out how to stop throat talking into your mic.
Yeah, we had the wrong setting on!
