How expensive Kenya is depends on your lifestyle...Gina lives in uptown Nairobi where things are expensive if she lives in Eastland's or other middle class areas things would be cheaper.
I think this applies everywhere, there are rich, middle class and low class areas which determine the price of things and cost of living. So I agree with you on that, thanks for sharing your thoughts on this topic 🥰

When you talk of Nigerian food not being in Kenya, can't you see it as a business opportunity, import the ingredients, buy a farm and plant the ingredients, and serve the ingredients to the local Nigerian community which is big.😅
Absolutely a great idea, a lot of Nigerians here are already into this business here in Kenya. So we can get the food here but at a higher cost 😆
Kenyans are introverted get to understand us you will realize that we aren't antisocial, is just that we do things differently, get to know us.
Yeah, you do things differently and that’s also okay. We’re all different people with different lives and cultures, so it’s normal. We just notice the differences, acknowledge it and live with it 😍🤩
Kenyans are introverted??? Speak for yourself most people world over tend to be somewhere in the middle but leaning towards extraversion...we have created a society that rewards extraversion.
@@lugaritzbrown2250 I’m sure he meant “not introverted” so you ain’t antisocial but you’re just different which I agree with.
@@lugaritzbrown2250 the problem with people like is you can't put a point across without putting someone down, you think you are more Kenyan than I am??? Gunia
@@the_kenyan_villager254 Do you have to i insult misunderstandings can always come about but we resolve them amicably apologies if i misunderstood you.

Cost of living in Kenya depends on where you live,if you live in places like westlands,Kileleshwa,Kilimani and lavington those are upper middle class areas and life there is more expensive. But satellite towns around Nairobi are cheaper eg Kitengela,Ruiru,Ongata Rongai,Kiserian,Kiambu and Ruaka,so live in a place you can afford and all will be well.😅
Yeah, live according to what you can afford and all will be well 😆 it’s the same everywhere, move just some few minutes away from the expensive places and the prices of everything changes 🤣😂
Her br0s live like 10 people in a bedsitter or 1 bedroom.
@@nonofyourbusiness-q5g una tatizo na wanigeria? If that’s what they can afford and the landlord allows them then what’s the issue?
@@Iamblakcoffeecan I get a good apartment for like $300 per month in a middle class area?
On the part of lack of communal togetherness, it's mostly in Nairobi but if you go upcountry or even in a city like Mombasa there is a very strong communal culture. So I would say your sentiments largely apply to Nairobi and not the whole country
Okay, thanks for sharing this with us 🥰 I guess it’s the city life and busyness that has caused that in Nairobi
Mombasa and Nairobi there's no difference, people have busy lifestyles. Maybe smaller towns or villages would be different
Hi@@bellaolum9768 long time no see. Naona umerudi kwa hizi travel vlogs. I've lived in Mombasa for many years. In fact nimesomea huko. Communal togetherness has been (and still is) the hallmark of the Coastal culture. Can't be compared with Nairobi

@@bellaolum9768 when I visited Mombasa i didn’t even see anyone in our apartment throughout our stay there 🤣😅 only on the streets

I love your channel Esanola. However, I will appreciate if you do away with the background music in your future videos. It's kinda disturbing a little bit. Thank you. Looking forward to seeing your channel grow big. 🇰🇪 🇰🇪
Thanks Ethan, I have made that correction and the video uploaded this evening doesn’t have the background music 😄 I truly appreciate the feedback, thanks 🤗
and thanks for watching 😍
Visitors that come to Kenya and say that its expensive,, will all depend which area you are staying. So it is being looked at subjectively. Areas like Kikuyu, Ruaka, Syokimau are relatively cheaper than upscale Kileleshwa, Kilimani, Lavington. And also, you need to explore outside Nairobi then get a full perspective of how Kenya is before making a conclusion
Well personally I have been to more counties and even the villages in Western Kenya and life over there is not as expensive as Nairobi. So location determines the cost of living, thanks for sharing your views on this topic 🥰💜

Nairobi is heavily cosmopolitan where all the major African ethnic groups converge. In addtition, ebeing a UN City, we have alot of Nationalities here. This is what informs on Nairobi inter-ethnic and inter-racial cultures. Actually, we are social in our own way. We see know need of saying hi to every stranger we meet, however, for those we already know, we are extremely social with them. I also suspect that Kenya was heavily influenced with a mix of the British, Indian and Arab culture. Espacially in the major cities.
Otherwise, we are happy and proud to have you in Kenya. To my in-law Misi. Welcome so much in Kenya. I come from the neighboring county of Busia, where I remember to are married in. And to Gina, I love your family vibe. You guys have stopped producing new videos.
I also think Kenya is heavily influenced and had a mix of other cultures, which can also influence the way of life of people living in Kenya. We are all social in our own different ways and that’s also okay. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts on this topic 🥰😍

@@Iamblakcoffee Very True. Thank you for understanding Semeji.
@@Iamblakcoffee Sawa. Eargerly waiting.
Please, this is the last video I'll condone on lack of Nigerian food not being available in Kenya. It's time you do you. Kenya is a free enterprise State. It's a business opportunity available to you guys. Stop whining and send the shipment of pepper 🌶️ etc. No way a Kenyan like me can enjoy Nigerian Cuisine in the US, and not a Nigerian in Kenya Africa
We don’t do that here Sam, be nice. If you watched the video you’ll realize we mentioned there are West African stores that sell Nigerian food but they are pricey so if any Nigerian is coming here they should stock up on food that can last them for a while before they have to start buying at expensive prices. Yes it’s a business opportunity and a whole lot of people are doing that already. This video is to sensitize Nigerians coming here and it’s important to talk about food they can get and what they cannot get here in Kenya and the cost as well. What exactly is pissing you off here?
You're right, my sincere apologies to you. I was quick to judge and my assumption was wrong. The tone and voice came out harsh. Once again I am sorry.
@@samnice5ify thank you Sam, I appreciate and accept your apologies 🤗🥰
Its confidence, not harsh
Welcome to Kenya. May God Bless you
Amen and you too Emmanuel. Asante Sana 💜
Here in mkuru is very affordable
Please where is that exactly? It’s my first time hearing about this place
@@Iamblakcoffeeit's a slam 😂
True, very cheap a double room of KSh. 3000
Make one video and write a heading that goes culture shock in kenya😂😂 and wait and see how many views you will get
😂🤣 let me go and do that experiment. Thanks
I guess there is a special visa for someone who is married. Secondly, in nairobi people are very private probably because of trusy issue, but that changes when you visit other areas like Kisumu, mombasa, nakuru etc.
I love the private life in Nairobi I won’t even deny it. I think community is necessary for when we need it otherwise everyone should stay in their houses and live their lives. 😍
True. That's a culture shock for most people from the upcountry. Nairobians are reserved
If you are not in High school, Primary school, campus, church, professional career, gym, hiking WhatsApp groups, youll miss on communal sense of belonging
😢 so school is the key then, students must be having a lot of fun 🤩

Beautiful babes bdway can ingredients for Nigerian cuisine be grown here even processed??
Yes some of them can be grown here like the vegetables and that’s a great idea. I should come with some seeds when next I go to Nigeria 😍🤩
