This has to be one of the most creative review videos I think I've ever seen on here. Absolutely nailed this video and made it cheeky and fun but not cheesy and over the top. Plus, I've been waiting for nearly two months for mine to arrive, so this got me so fired up to start shooting, once it's here. New Sub.
I love the format of your video and the back and forth with the computer voice. When it gets to longer sentences and explanations, I believe your voice would be easier to follow, though. Thank you four this video. I started playing around with mine a few days ago. I'm very impressed with it, but the absence of a double slot recording, together with reliability issues freak me out for any paid gigs. I believe I will pair it with a ninja V recorder at some point so that I can get double recording. Also, if I will ever use it on a paid gig, I'd probably have 2 extra in the bag. Keep it up!

Give it a year and you'll have a million subs easy. Top quality original content. Also phenomenal camera. Almost makes me wish I hadn't bought my A7III. If I didn't need it for photography as well as video, I'd 100% have gone with this.
No way. Don't take this video the wrong way the A7iii is incredible. It's apples to oranges. There are serious trade offs with this camera that make it very questionable on who this camera is for.

Your videos are the best combination of entertainment and valid/ insightful information in this VLOG category. I disagree with some comments and thought the use of the female digital voice was a fun way to convey some technical information and add insight in a creative way to express some of the positives and challenges to using the BMPCCK. Curious if those that complain have better content. If they have I have not found them yet. Hope you continue to produce this great content!

"Do not buy." is a bit of a contradiction from your conclusion though? maybe "Do not buy if...."
Very good video we did similar battery adaptor for the BMPCC 4K cameras we own, except we add small and cheap voltage regulator to be able using with any V-lock Batteries and other "easy to find" battery.
Further we buy a M.2 raid 1 card to SATA adaptor to build a customer external drive that offer includes safe backup solution. This kind of cards are cheap ,safe and easy to find. For this custom raid ssd we just 3d print the case to fit in smart way on ours Cage.

i watched countless bm4k videos. and yours is the best! ( just after proav tv. ) fast brief and to the point. i especially liked the memory card tip. never heard about the overheating issue.

Love your editing skills man, you are a great inspiration, how do you make that computer voice or is it stock footage, I need something like this, can you lead me to right direction, thank you.
It looked to me like he was using a Mac in the shots where he was at his desk. Macs come with an optional library of text-to-speech voices, including English-speaking ones in various accents. Having just checked the preview in my speech preferences, I can confirm the voice he's using is named Karen. There are a couple different methods to have any arbitrary bit of text rendered out as computer-generated speech and saved as a sound file, which can then be imported into his video project. I'm sure there must be similar software out there for Windows, if it doesn't already have that feature built in!
Ive been doing filming with my cell a gimbal, some polorizers in the summer and a few other things such as a wide angle external lense etc. Ive found a lot of inspiration from ppl such as Peter Mckinnon, and Matti Hipoja to name a few. I own a martial arts Academy and create on a regular basis. I can say for sure from my perspective that you may be you tubes best kept secret. This level of film making is ultra high and I am very impressed & inspired. Great Job my friend! I want to learn what u know! Lol

I think you nailed it here. This is a good option for entry level DIY filmmakers, especially since the price point allows room for spending money on good glass. Oh, and it didn’t hurt that the whole video was chock full of visual goodness!

The battery and recording media are my biggest reasons for still not buying this camera. I'm shooting a doc and absolutely cannot have issues with unstable media while shooting interviews.

Normally I get annoyed when I watch a video that tries to copy the whip pan jump cut montage style since I feel it's so overdone. My eyes started to roll when the video started up and it started to copy that style.... But that feeling evaporated when you made it your own.

A7iii is a better camera if you want focusing and low light. Also if you're not that great on color grading it would be easier to get better colors from the A7iii for sure.

Hello. The external SSD problem you've mentioned... Could you, please, check if this issue remains when you power the camera from its power supply unit? Some people say this problem is connected with lack of power from internal or external batteries.
Would you say this camera would be okay to shoot real estate with the ability to take great stills? I already have m4/3 lenses
For filmmaking I wouldn't say a 42.5 mm is not ideal on a m43 sensor as you end up with the field of view of a 85mm. Sure, it's fast but most filmmakers bring their lights along.
............Well, technically its a 4/3 sensor not m4/3 so that's 1.9 x 42.5 = 80.75mm field of view....but who's counting anyway. I should had added the second lens that I recommend, 7-14mm Olympus. Both of those cover everything I needed for my week in Maui.

Very good camera, but working on it in commercial production conditions can be difficult, the weight with the gimbal overwhelms me, after a few hours of recording I am very tired. For smaller productions I use weebill S with canon eos R. bmpcc 4k is great for studio work. Great movie, I love watching your productions! greetings!
