What a wonderful collection. I actually find it quite poignant to see how much love and care went into collecting it. I'm so pleased that someone equally as passionate now owns it
It really is wonderful, and as I mentioned, I intend to keep it "as is" to respect the work and love put into collating and presenting the materual.

(I started to collect the GB QE 11 Machin stamps a week ago and since stamps started in GB, i am starting also to collect GB stamps..)
Great video John, whoever owned this collection belonged to a society and these are presentation albums for show,s i think. Congratulations on 800 subscribers, soon be a thousand. Here, here, on the monetary side. We don't all expect something for nothing and anything to enhance the production e.g lighting cameras etc is worth it in my mind. Keep em coming.

I have no doubt you will reach 1000 by June because of the great quality of content of your videos. I have certainly learned a lot especially about the Machins. Nothing wrong with monetizing. Really beautiful albums! I can see why you don't want to break them up. They will be a joy forever. I also like those labels with the gold print. Fit the album well. Thanks so much for sharing the generous gift! And congratulations with your channel's growth. Excellent! Nothing wrong with monetization in my opinion. It takes a lot of time to make these videos, there are costs involved, and you give a lot of information and value to your viewers! Go ahead. I am sure nobody would mind.
Thank you for your comments. To clarify, the monetisation would just be enabling adverts, allowing me to earn a little revenue from the number of views. I can't monetise until I hit 1000 subs, so a while off anyway!
@@johncollectsstamps I understood it that way, and that you want to put it back into your channel. But any other monetization will not be bad either. A cup of coffee is quite unintrusive, I think. :) Your 1000 is closer than you think.
