Alabama was lucky to win that game. If WVU would of not dropped some passes and the refs did not call some bad calls WVU would of won. They were the better team for sure.

We've been passing the ball great so far! Also Shell has been able to make some plays on the ground... ESPN says we're the best (2-2) team in the nation for being able to pass so well against Alabama and Oklahoma.. Great things are coming to Morgantown!

Sure, Roll Tide, what a joke? 6 national titles & 2 runner-up finishes in the past 12 years, 6 playoff appearances out of the 7 that have taken place. 10-3 is the worst season in the past 13 years with 2 undefeated seasons, 4 with 14 wins, 3 with 13 wins, 3 with 12 wins and 2 with 11 wins.

@Mathew Bryant I don't mind thanking West Virgina but Saban should thank his lucky stars he came to a place where he could become the greatest coach of all time, it couldn't happen just anywhere!
Coach Bryant was from Arkansas but came to Alabama to play football and then came back to coach. Bobby Bowden was from Alabama and wanted to coach at Alabama but it never worked out for him. Bowden at Alabama beginning in around 1986 thru the middle 2000s would have been really good as well if it had happened, instead Florida State was the beneficiary of keeping him.

This team is probably Saban's 10th or 11th best team in the 14 years he has been at Alabama. The inconsistent play at QB hampered them the entire year and you see it in this game. They converted him from a DB, he also had played at HB, not really a QB but he did OK at times.
