Had a base like this for 2 weeks as a Solo in the Deep Woods. 4 watchtowers and I had so many loot runs to build it lol. It was derailed by some dude that 1 tapped me while I was on second floor no windows unfortunately. Then when I got back everything was destroyed.
Badly chosen spot by them then. Good stuff bro. One of my next tips for my next video is to try eco raid ur own base before logging off after building it.
That’s crazy to see somone building a whole watchtower behind to get cover when u can just place a fence kit on the open side and build a wall and to further it u can make them gates on higher levels so u have doors u can open on spot and shoot from all angles and still b covered while doing so
@@Glaz-TheKingHimself they both work yes but one takes 4x the material,..just not practical in a real survival situation to waste so much time on building a second tower when u can just use 1 fence and have the same results
@@Glaz-TheKingHimself lol if u say so brother I think she’s pretty huge I like my towers slim and pretty that’s just a matter of opinion though I have been getting into freebuilding for a while now and have made some pretty crazy bases with only walls,watchtowers ect. And I’ve found there’s pretty efficient ways of doing things with very little materials if u know they way lol wasn’t hating just crazy to see people are building this way
What’s the sturdiest build? Metal walls or wood? I’m fairly new to DayZ- only have about 370 hours and been learning crafting/building on a PVE/PvP server where pvp is only in circles areas such as military camps/bases, airports, black market etc to learn the game BEFORE jumping into a more hardcore server…😂
Of course my man, good question. So metal wall are better, however wood is more easy to come by, use metal for ur LAST gate to ur main loot storage and use wood for the rest. U can swap wood to metal with a hatchet if u find it too

@@Glaz-TheKingHimself Thank you. There is a very large abandon base on the sever I'm on. I've tried hatchet a few times but I must be hitting the wrong spots. Its mainly the large poles I'm trying to take down but even planks are not comin off. I was expecting to get a prompt to dissemble sections.
Yes, however things may change in update 1.20 due to base building not allowing u to stack walls back to back, Im not sure if this will effect the watchtowers
@@Glaz-TheKingHimself yeah if u start the game than log in u have xray. Even on Next Gen. And i think it will be problem as long as they Release a Next Gen Version.. but Bohemia said they will not do it as up now.
@@Glaz-TheKingHimself it will be still problem because u can change log in timer on Com Servers mate. I think its time for Bohemia to Support Next Gen. Playing on the PS5 the PS4 Version is better but its not a big of a Deal why got a PS5 if there is no next gen Version of that shit ass game lmao😂
I love playing pve server I can build a bigger base than anyone because if someone tries to raid it or get near it they are banned don't gotta worry about going to bed than waking up going to work and getting home realize all your stuff is gone because some no life virgin got to it while I was at work
And when u have clipping enabled u build gates with just the top wall built on that gate and then u build the lower wall of the watchtower and now u have a peek door, and big bases equal lost loot just bury it 😂 ponds ocean little babbling brooks
@@Glaz-TheKingHimself build two watchtowers back to back right, then on first floor build the watchtower walls, then add fence behind that for added protection against raiders- 2nd floor and 3rd floor build the lower walls of towers then add fence kit make it a gate and build just the top, add locks to prevent raiders from watchtower raiding, but you will have the ability to open the gates and have that whole peek! Use camo net too for ur security

But like I said the bigger your base the more of a target you become, hence just bury ur loot those are rarely found and u can have kits set up in every spawn location if needed 😉

Once eco raided a setup just like this by jumping ontop and dismantled the sheet metal roof, dropped right in :)

U can use offline mode on pc with the build anywhere mod and admin tools
Good players will find gaps in the bases and sit on it.
