Good job brother that’s a respectable achievement I’m also on the grind for bushin after getting kishin with kazuya hopefully we can both get tekken king, gimme your ign on ps5 or in the game so I can friend request you ❤
The way I've heard it, and it makes sense to me, once you go from bushin to king your prowess boosts from 200k to 230k, then most people derank back to fujin and have to fight 230+ prowess blue ranks and rarely face the 200k or less blue ranks again. This essentially creates a second phantom blue rank. it also explains why blue ranks are double the size they should be. I just hit king and refuse to play ranked lmao, gonna play quickplay until I feel I have become a better player and hopefully I can skip the phantom blue
i was around 200k prowess when i hit fujin and sitting in bushin im over 230k and have been for a min ive fought many people on alt characters with their main being anywhere from tekken king to god of destruction since i started through blue ranks so you dont even need to hit king to start fighting those people
This is very true, one of my friends hit TK, got demoted back down to Kishin and he regularly plays against TGs and TGS players on their blue rank alts and has been stuck there for a month
I've said it months ago, Fujin is the "beginner" rank now, the new red rank. People didn't believe me but it was obvious with the trend and how easy Tekken's rank system is.
Heihachi seems to be a good noobkiller, so not only he is popular, but he is giving easy wins to lots of players under blue ranks. Even if he is not THAT powerful, it doesn't matter because he's a badass Mishima. People continuously complains about Kazuya being too hard or too weak, yet he's always popular anyway.
Gotta love it when so many people complain that certain characters aren’t that good or are “low tier”, yet so many people gladly play those characters. Nina is considered top 3, yet she’s not popular at all, yet everyone plays supposed lower tier characters like Hwoarang or Law??? Even Dragunov seems to be really losing popularity due to that slight nerf. My rule is, if a character is popular, they’re either strong, broken or secretly top tier.
Exactly! Im a nina main and it infuriates me how people scream for more nina nerfs when shes been nerfed 4 times already! Shes barely used in the game. Do yall not want her used at all 😂
@@TheXzaclee16 Exactly. Same here and this is so true. That’s why I don’t think Nina is as OP or as “broken” as they claim. She doesn’t dominate Tekken 8. They say, she’s not popular because she’s hard to use which imo means she should be strong. Yet everyone says Kazuya is hard, but so many people use him. Weird, eh?
@@infinitesurge9641 i deeply resent that they nerfed her df32 and qcf1 damage. Df32 is a bread and butter combo string by nerfing that they reduced basically every single combo she can get and if you have the skills to pull off 4 qcf1s in one combo you deserve that damage. Nina is hard to use. If you have the execution to get big damage with her you deserve it!!! Otherwise she just becomes hard to play with no reward for her execution
1:26 because that’s HEIHACHI FUCKING MISHIMA the coolest tekken character of all time along with kazuya why wouldn’t people drop characters to play him you don’t understand the hype
1:31 actually it makes perfect sense because not everyone is a tierwhore and there’s actually a lot of people who play this game to play characters they like (like me) lol
Jin has one of the lowest win rate in the game, yet people will keep complaining about his 30 business day slow @ss low because their reaction time is worst than a 500 ping player.
Shaheen was my second most played in T7, but I haven't even touched him in T8. The game is too complex, sitting on raijin with 2 characters, and I think I have a fujin too.
nah tekken players are too lazy to read his movelist only a handful of players will play him or like him other than that if you play him he feels kinda clunky at times
I main raven he's really fun, but his backturn can get you lit up by your opponent if you aren't careful lol. Most players aren't into the stance characters in my region there's only about 10 to 20 raven mains lol
@moxdegiourno7984 really? all I did was finish his trials, practice, and look at his move list just to see what's more useful, because I know I'm not going to use everything.
@@v-jinzo-v7600 the backturn also makes you vulnerable too when side switching or camera switching happens even though you can press b3+4 again to return to normal stance it will do his flip kick instead lol
What I disagree with arslan on in his tier list (I am just a kishin kazuya 200k Prowess so take what Is say with a grain of salt) 1. Steve being that high despite losing damage and basically all ch launchers except b1 2. Lee and Lars being that low despite Lee being flawless and the only real flaw he has is his heat and Lars having “some” good utility especially with 111 ch heat dash launch for decent damage 3. Law being A+ despite having insane easy dss and slide and heat smash wall splat 4. Kazuya being mid tier like honestly I think kazuya is A and if all of top ten got nerfed he would be top 10 or 11 but he is very balanced and relies on big swings 5. Kuma only being mid tier (do I even need to say why 6. Victor being mid tier despite his high damage wall combo that ends with the mid sword flame move that does crazy damage and if blocked puts him at plus 100000 into a crazy mix up 7. Azucena is not that bad she is mid tier but requires specialist gameplay 8. Xiauyu being that low despite hypnotist and aop 9. Lili being that low despite high homing heat smash and back turn heat smash and amazing defense and poking and fundamental tekken 10. Feng being better than Alisa and Claudio is something I can’t even fathom Love arslan ash
I agree for the most part but please. For Lee. Practice mode > Defense > Movelist... Start from normal moves. I advise you to just duck the 1st two highs and twin piston 80% of his moveset. That's why Lee is almost never in tournaments. If 2nd attack is mid, look at your healthbar and feeling too lazy to time ducks? Block. Lee Mids exist yes but they are all -13 or more. Don't care to respect? Just jab him or duck jab. There is nothing he can do. That quickly he no longer qualifies for the word "Flawless." Blocking Lee is never scary, ever. No sane person is every oppressed by Lee.
@kenyou_Nogata My guy I know this shit and I have an easy time countering, his moveset is linear and his slide kick is easily twin pistoned and his iws 2 3 second hit can be ducked and while standing 2’d however my point wasn’t about the lee matchup and me struggling with it I said he was put too low on the tier list and just to prove my point that he can do everything but he’s drawback is a shitty heat which is why he is mid tier here you go: THE PROS 1. High damage good oki at the wall 2. Strong punishment best 10 frame in the game 2. AMAZING while standing punishment with iws 2 3 just frame 3. Amazing poking 4. Phenomenal insane keep away w b4 and acid storm whiff punish 5. Decent-ish rush down but admittedly quite garbage b33 is overrated and running 3 4 is linear 6. Good counter hit launchers and a generally amazing hop kick 15 frame punish 7. Sick hitman stance and amazing utility for just frames He can play defense and offense in a number of different styles though lackluster at the offense admittedly and he is general an all rounder with a great toolset mainly catering to strong defensive players. THE CONS 1. Shitty heat That’s it he’s an all rounder that does everything except his heat sucks ass all you really get is iws 2 3 ff3 heat dash which is admittedly good but that’s it and his heat smash sucks plus you get free just frames but that’s just kinda bad tbh, in general he is NOT bottom 10 I know how to defend against him and I have an easy time destroying lees in ranked so I have experience
@@livingashtree1942 that is true which is why we can debate them I’m not saying my opinion is one hundred percent correct but I do disagree with a lot of Arslan’s points

But everything else they get whooped by me most of the time. I hate King so much for his long ass throw I want to beat Lil Majin to break the Kings spirits . Lol
Why do people still think hei is op. The character excels in dmg And punishment. If you Play safe he suffers by the simple Fact you’re diminishing his biggest strength. He’s got some Of the worst small tekken in the game and the only threat in neutral is an electric which by itself without good mid options isn’t much to worry about. Hei is also extremely fun and you’ll see Him in tourney because veterans enjoy him because he rewards you for playing completely Fundamentally not stupid over aggressive bs because he can’t do that and if you letting him play that way that is solely on you not knowing frames or how he works in general. Small tekken in characters is almost detrimental to be classed as a good character in this game and sorry hei does not have that. I’ve used enough characters in this game winning with hei against competent players is by far some Of the most stressful Bs I’ve felt So far and not had that from Any other character yet. I barely Play tekken NOW because it’s to scrub orientated. But when inflation wasn’t a thing yet I was On 14 win streak with Steve when he was seriously garbage and got Him tekken king with that streak before I stopped out of boredom. I did the same thing with raven but got him to tekken god on a streak as well. Reason being is they still while being bad have small tekken and more than one viable launcher to get use out of. Hilarious part is people want hei damaged nerf and I’d happily trade that damage to get his small tekken back and then clueless people would see what OP actually is 😂
there is a reason no one plays her in tournaments and thats what the tierlist is based around not how good she is in online play but how she would do in a tournament setting
