As a Malaysian I have yet to visit the Borneo part of Malaysia and have friends there especially a few from sandakan and in particular one is working in Sepilok too. Will definitely pay them a visit if I were to go there
Suggestion, nextime u guys can try to go to lahad datu *danum valley*. Is one for the biggest natural jungle in borneo. U can stay over night there n u r going to love it. Got hidden water falls, ancient coffins, hanging bridge..... Even prince william did go n visit there too 10 years ago.
Thank you for coming to sandakan nature city.. there's another place call proboscis monkey sanctuary in sandakan which is located in mile 25 about 30 minutes from main town.. actually sandakan is call the little hongkong.. coz we have so much town here.. you can enjoy the sunset view and spend till night at the top building of nak hotel it called balin restaurant.. and there are history places in sandakan you can visit such as sandakan memorial park, agnes keith house "the house of book author of the land below the wind" and enjoy seafood here.. coz sandakan is more lovely with seafood.. i recommend you to go dinner at waterfront seafood restaurant just aside harbourmall in main town.. i hope you can visit sandakan again and enjoy more local about sandakan in the future.. thanks

Sandakan had these , and Semporna is the door to Various beautiful Island .. the place itself (Semporna) is not that great , but the island such as Mabul , Sipadan , Bohey Dulang and more is very beautiful

Also, we didn't go to Sipadan because we wanted to dive and you need an advanced certification, but we will be back next year to do it ❤️ We fell in love with that place!!
I stay nearby, used to have a Borneo rhinos. A pair of them in hope they can reproduce. The male rhino died first. & The female rhinos died few years ago. Now it is nvr reported to be seen in the wild.
Everyone we met said that the Kinabatangan river cruise was the best thing they did! Unfortunately, we didn't have the time or budget to do it this time, but it is our #1 reason to go back 🥰 Thanks!
600 hectares is 1482.6 acres 1 hectare is 10000 SQM. In Brunei "not very far from the" in the forest you may see the long nose monkeys. Sorry to steam food you should put a lid to close the pot, it will cook faster and uniformly.

nope - i think you get 60 or 90 days visa free. they may ask for proof of onward travel so best to have that in place.
