Lavender is also great to cook with. In just the right dish, lavender brings flavors out. I use its essential oil to flavor sugars for my oatmeal and more. Thanx for sharing.
I'm in the process of making the same with onion chopped up, garlic, nettle leaf, horsetail, green tea, chamomile and essential oils(peppermint, rosemary, tea tree, basil, cedarwood) for my hair. Now I gotta wait 5 to 6 weeks I guess. But can't wait to use it.
I am looking to make face/body oil with coconut oil .. how long do I need to infuse the herbs in coconut oil ? do I need to put them on stove with double boiler or just soak the herbs in coconut oil for dew days ? thanks you .. great video .. love your content .. love from London
Hi Make sure to use dry herbs, it’s safer...you can use a double boiler at 100 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit for 1 to 5 hours. Hope this helps and sorry for my delayed response! Thank you so much!💚💚💚
Two questions plz first .. can i mix 2 or 3 kind of carrier oils to do the infusion process in general? Second i heard that we should fill all the jar or bottle till the top till we won't allow to bacteria comes into that spear and lead to mold the herbs plz confirm this information i want to start what u just did .. thank u so much 4 ur informative easy video
Hi Chantelle! Yes, you can use more than one carrier oil, just avoid mineral oil. I use olive oil, because it contains vitamin E which extends its shelf life. Yes, it is best to fill the jar to the top to avoid bacteria growth. Thanks for watching, enjoy your weekend! Misilla

Hi I have never tried any method that would extract the aroma of herbs when infusing oil. Have you tried talking to an herbalist? Sorry, I couldn't help. Thanks for watching!
That's a way to make weak oils, because you added olive oil to it.Olive oil also affects the flavor and scent.I like my oils 100% concentration, which requires lots plant matter, and a cold press. The second method is blended with "distilled" water, simmered on low heat until it thickens after evaporation. No matter what oil it is,cold press is the best, most potent, most concentrated, most healthy.Cold press requires a Cold press machine and much greenery.
BTW you talk about the sun not being good for the infused oil…unless they can be kept under 95 degrees Crockpots run too hot and destroy many of the nutrients in plant material …
Great video! Now I can feel confident to plant lavender and use this technique after harvest. Thanks!! keep up the great videos :)
