Love these videos! So determined and motivated! Keep working on the overall finishing details such as the paintjob that could definitely improve! XD Looking forward to your next rebuild!
These video's show the real pain about working on cars, it's amazing to see the progression in your work, this is real life stuff on a budget and thats what makes it so great keep it going👍(PS: next time make sure to use the correct g11 BMW dark blue coolant i've seen huge corrosion problems on these BMW engines that had the wrong coolant, it causes pitting on the aluminium sealing surfaces of the head causing all kind of leaks... Trust me it can be an expensive mistake)😉
Thank you so much :) Just trying to learn as much as possible...next up fixing an engine ^^. I also wish you great success & that you reach your dreams :) We gonna make it ;)
Super video!
Fantastic job. Great to hear you are in Austria. I got married in Austria to a girl from Perbersdorf near Amstetten. I have E46 325i I restored and love it. Keep working hard. You should be proud.
Yeah I guess thats the typical Mazda 3 frustration. The Mazda 3 I have repaired on this channel...was so rusty. But if I can do this, you can do it too. Just make sure to stay safe ;)
Get a paint gun, cheap pay guns are good as well just clean them properly, try to paint hole panels with the gun and try blending it in, don’t make sharp lines do curve lines it’s going to be easier to sand it down and polishing it. If you have any questions about body work, and paint jobs hit me up, maybe i can help 😁 Keep up the good work man 👌
Hey there, thanks for the tips, I really appreciate them. I do have a paint gun, but tbh I didn't know where to get the colors from.😂 Maybe I should take a look from where I can get them. Thanks for the kind offer, yeah I think I'll hit you up before I am painting the next car ;) Wish you a great start into 2025 :)
@ If you are close to the Hungarian border you can come across and get the paint cheaper, in Austria it’s expensive. Wish you all the best for 2025 man, happy new year 🥳
had the similar issue with fiberglass bondo, learned it's not suitable for these kind of cosmetic jobs because its too durable and takes lot of time to sand and hard to mix right, personally recommend to use classic polyester type bondo, good luck
That filler is good for structural repairs not body paint work. If I'm not mistaken there is a shrinkage factor to consider. Also too much filler is a no no in many books as it can crack.
Haha lustig...Kurze Frage.
I wonder if the glass fibre putty just shrank over time and cracked open? Maybe there was too much? I hate to put too much glass fibre putty because it's so hard to sand and it never spreads evenly.. also the low temperature/high humidity might make it peel off and not stick properly. For a second time putting bondo on that wasn't so bad.. it takes time and many layers to get the body lines right.. blocking with control spray etc.. and remember eyes are deceiving, feel it with hand.
Thanks for trying to figure the bondo issue out. Well...I want to get better at it, so I am keeping your tips in mind. I appreciate all the tips, thanks. Wish you a nice start into 2025 ;)
Hey Vitor, I bought it on Amazon from a company called TRISTARcolor. Just searched for the color code and name. I had some great experience with them so far. (Used their products on all cars except of the Mazda)
Yeah, I am trying to sell it. I have a new project in mind and it's currently for sale in Linz. Thanks for the offer :) I actually do have a question. Do you know somebody cheap, who can trailer cars around? Wish you a great start into 2025 ;)
@TheE46Guy i can ask a couple of my buddies, i have access to a car trailer but no Anhängerführerschein 🤣 I'll let my friends know about the e36 for sale, couple of them want to get into cars and thr limo is a pretty good starter car 🤣🤣 if you need anything my dude let me know and I hope you had a good new years !!
@@Tenkaichibudokai22 Ou the "self imposed" 7 day deadline. Yes very naive. It's just Ytube drama. Like he cant afford to replace a 25€ sander, but buying boxes full of parts 😃
soo much whining about little bit of rust. there was a guy who did complete rebuild of floor on Mini Cooper from scratch. That car was totally rusted and he did it without whining about it. also, cardboard is better for marking up the repair spots than paper... oh and when you replaced bushings on subframe, why didn't you fixed up the rust first and paint it?

Huge improvement on youre videos keep it up !!!
Weiter so! 😊
I learned one thing while trying to paint panels. Dont just stick tape to car, fold it so there is no sharp cut line
Really enjoyed watching your great work. Very Nice job
Thank you so much :)
what a great job man, you're doing everything and you're learning along. hope you have a nice 2025, and success to you so you can build your dreams.
Thank you so much :) Just trying to learn as much as possible...next up fixing an engine ^^. I also wish you great success & that you reach your dreams :) We gonna make it ;)
Very enjoyable video, thank you very much! Expertly restored car, by far the e36 is my favourite 3 series. I hope you enjoy it.🎉
Keep it up! Videos looking great!! Continue, you will get famous
Thank you so much :) Well, the next project might be a crazy one, if everything works out ;)
@TheE46Guy i will look forward to that :) you live in germany right? where exactly? maybe we could meet sometime
Keep them coming, the work, the spirit, the editing is all top notch. I really enjoy your content!
Thanks man, you really made my day! ;)
I simply enjoy creating these videos.

Keep it up mate, the rust not as bad as your e39 restoration , nice work, cheers from Indonesia
Gute Arbeit!
Danke dir :)
pleasure to watch this content
Looks good, keep it going , enjoying the videos
not bad man!

Thanks for all the kind words, I appreciate that :) That's sounds awesome. I am really happy for you :)
What did you do to your E46?
Hi Bro. Great contend. Just a sugestion... When you remove a part give a clean and a spray paint, will look 1000 better at the end. Cheer Mate
Hi bro :)
Thanks for the advice. You are totally right. Well, I am going to do that from now on ;) Cheers
@TheE46Guy That will be great i garantee. Lets go on that project. Cheers Mate 😉💯👍
try using solder instead of bondo
also... paint, watch chrisfix doing rust repair and blend in paint.
you bringing hope for my mazda 3 BK
yeah ... my a4 b6 from 2001 aswell

7:54 thats NOT bad, this is literally normal bmw e36 rust. It just rusts everywhere.
Well...it was just suprising finding all this rust under there....

Hey, Where did you find a spray paint can with the exact color of the car?
Hey Vitor, I bought it on Amazon from a company called TRISTARcolor. Just searched for the color code and name. I had some great experience with them so far. (Used their products on all cars except of the Mazda)
I've enjoyed the video, you've done a lot of work and learned a lot in the process. I'm dropping you an e-mail.
Shit, my father had a track piece as an anvil when I was a kid. Well, he was a train driver so that explains it. What's your excuse😉
It's a good anvil ^^ I got it from my dad, but he got it from a neighbor. To be honest I don't know how he got it ^^.
👍😎💪
I saw this thing on Kleinanzeigen like a day or two ago😂😂😂, I'm in the area if you need a hand I'm keen to help

@Juntasification he asked how naive he was.
