putting a stamina system in a VR boxing game is an enormous deterrent from my purchase :(
side note, I'd love a Knockout League sequel.

Exactly. That's what players hated the most and they still didn't really fixed it. And they promised they fixed it when someone asked in a comment under their teaser about health and stamina getting fixed. They literally said ''we promise''
Just play endurance mode where there’s no stamina

I pre-ordered it and just played a few matches. If this is an upgrade, I can't see it or feel it. Better than Quest version graphically? Sure. Haven't played PSVR1 version. PC version still looks way better than this, and that was an Oculus store free upgrade from years ago. Ryan is spot on: Great game if you haven't played it. If you have played it before, well, here it is again. And, what are these 'Glow' costumes I chose not to spend an extra $10 to get on the deluxe version?

So they didn't use the headset and Sense controller haptics to the full potential. How disappointing and strange. I imagined getting hit by a huge punch and feeling the full shuddering force in the headset. Thanks for the review.

And I agree with you 2 I was expecting full use of the haptic and headset rumbling this is very disappointing
1:54 forced fatigue is a huge dealbreaker.
I'm good with joycons in mario and sonic olympics boxing or even the fitness boxing fist of the north star rhythm boxing game that at least has you fight outlaws despite censorship and too many points to unlock Yulia.
Better skin than base fitness though $50 digital only (except maybe playsia and its crazy how no japanese dub with subtitles in american release despite a japanese game, has only english, spanish and I think italian) sucks.
I have to be honest I used to love the game but in my opinion I hate how in the combat it seems like if you just as try to move your arms to punch your flying in the ring
Change the controls to move with the analog sticks.

No matter how much they upgrade, it still pales in comparison to Thrill of the Fight.
I have this on PSVR 2 and Thrill of the Fight for PC VR. I much prefer Creed over Thrill of the Fight, however I get an amazing work out with either of them.

I thought there was a mode that removed the stamina system.
I mentioned it. It's only on single player one off matchups. You can't change that for the story stuff or multiplayer.
@@RyanO_VR In the new campaign, the stamina system is removed for the Viktor fight

@@RyanO_VR it might depend on your training rating tho since they altered the max stamina limit on 5 stars

It's a shame the game is still bad, hits don't connect, dodging is impossible because the moves track you so you have to dodge as if you are parrying meaning you can barely dodge quick hits and they either never throw or always throw heveies, the ai is always too close and should do the spacing for you
I have the game is the price gonna change if I have it?
It's a $20 upgrade to the PSVR 2 version if you have the PSVR 1 version.
