The biggest problem is what to do with the unemployed workers. Not everyone has the temperament, brains, skills, and resources needed to go into their own business after mass layoffs.
It's not even that, our current social system demands money for EVERYTHING, these libtards are so quick to speak on AI but have yet to answer on property rights and how these replaced workers will be intergrated! We know elites need consumers and taxes so the question is what about the land then? To start a new business isn't the problem it's the capital that's the problem! Noone wants AI jobs, why would I fix AI if it's the thing that's replaced my job? This is eugenics, even if new jobs come along they won't be paying jobs that's for sure, elites invest in return and they won't pay you more for doing less
I just mean that people won't do retard work and will spend their time on valuable things. Which data entry definitely isn't. People will just do more meaningful work.
im hoping with ai that people get human centric jobs so that less time is spent grinding away and it can be spent building stronger communities and connecting with each other. which is honestly good for peoples mental and physical health.
This is important information! But you're a little off on that last one. Starship Technologies has never had any human couriers. They have always been a robot company. So "replaced all of its couriers" isn't exactly correct. Also, the vast majority of their services are on college campuses, where they deliver for on-campus food services. There were no previous couriers since students usually walked to those locations. In these cases, they created jobs where they didn't exist before (operations, technicians, etc). Though, as their AI improves they'll need less and less human intervention, so it will definitely replace their operations employees.
Most people that order packages and/or food want it delivered to their door. How is a robot going to navigate entering apartment complexes, taking the elevator or having to go up stairs? Not going to happen for decades…
They'll just you know drive through your hedges other cars and other obstacles until they eventually get the ride coding. Wtf is the world going to be like in 5 years.

Data entry already tried this and failed. And I've had a huge problem with medical billing the past few years. I want someone to yell at face to face, and threaten in person; especially dealing with money.
