Again I loved watching your trip, it’s nice that you both were going at the same pace and spending time together. It was great to see Odessa and reminded me I once planned a walking trip there but that one didn’t happen. I did recognise the Pic Du Midi as we walked around that and marvelled at the two summits. My friend lost his leather had a few days previously and a chap came walking towards us wearing it so he was pleased to get it back and still has it today in fact his brother had made it for him. Anyway ATB 🍻👌
It’s a bummer to lose your hat on a walk. I thought I’d lost one on the South Downs Way once. Searched everywhere, including the pub next day only to find I’d left it hanging behind the shower door. I love Pic du Midi, it was great on the GR10 to swim in the ‘infinity pool’ of Lac Gentau with the peak soaring above.
@@MinackerMovies Hello, I am thinking of purchasing the Durston x-mid 2 dyneema, since I find the x-mid 1 a little small. I would like to know your opinion about this store in GR11. You will do a review of the store like you did the Plexamid. Thanks for your videos.
@@JulioMendiak The tent is good, I'm now about to use it again on Pennine Way. It likes flat ground and the hard dry ground in places, especially campgrounds made it hard to peg and choose exactly the right corner points ut needs! (any tent). May do a review later in the year, lots going on May and Juneso no chance to share gpx. I used Outdooractive for nav, offline maps and the routes came from Cicerone.

@@MinackerMovies I did wonder if you had walked the gr10. I wonder which you preferred if you had a preference ?
🙏
I have strong affection for the GR10, maybe because it was the first really long trip. The 4 section vids are on YT if you want to see them.
Looks amazing, is that a new tent?
Thanks. The tent is a Durston Xmid 1 Pro
