Your videos are always life-saving. I'm dealing with so much problem because of stressful work and sitting at the computer all the time. These tips are really helping
Your videos are very high quality. Definitely recommend to all who are struggling with pain and chronic tension to take 15 minutes and intentionally relax and practice diaphragmatic breathing. I like using binaural beats, yoga nidra, or guided meditations and doing one of the Egoscue long passive stretches (like static back or supine groin). Will do this after stressful work day and then go to the gym or at least do some light cardio and yoga. If you just try to stretch without relaxing or just strengthen it won't make you feel better need to figure out how to trigger your parasympathetic response.
Hey man, just found this video and wanted to tell you how much I appreciate it. Your methodology and reasoning makes a lot of sense, I like the break up then stretch technique. Thanks again homie
i think it's worth mentioning that working at a desk at incorrect chair height can easily put you into a constantly "shrugged" position. while all these are without any questions great exercises it's important to look at where the tightness comes from :)
Thanks for the video. A couple of years ago I realised that I'm contracting my trapz even when watching matches where i'm rooting for one or the other team. Also all these years sitting in front of the computer have made the problem worse. I'll make sure to try these stretches and strengthening exercises!
Thanks for the help. Trying to release my neck as much as possible to deal with tinnitus that has completely destroyed my life. I don't know if it's cervicogenic, but I think that's a component.
Something I’m not understanding is how to breathe when I’m working out. When I’m working out, I work hard to keep my core tight and strong to support my movements, but then that means I’m mostly chest breathing, I don’t think I’m really using my diaphragm. Is that right and ok, or am I missing something?
I needed this as I am suffering…relief immediately with those stretches. This is a ongoing problem for me. Great tips. I have saved this video. Thank you.

Did the tennis ball massage. Turns out i actually have traps and have just spent 25 years with lifted shoulders. Pretty nifty!
I have a full spinal fusion and can't bend/twist. How do I do some of these stretches with this limitation?

If i just have one lacrose ball, can i still do the massaging???
Excellent video. A complete guide that anyone can do at home. Thanks
I tried doing the first exercise with the two balls with walnuts, not sure if its as effective
If only the right side is tight and aching though, it can also be gallbladder problems
just in time, today was shrugs and shoulders.

Such a deep understanding explaining causes rather than symptoms
