@louisferron3757 one of the reasons I like using cross sheep in extra as well with yubel cards adds more extention to plays while also under droll. But fiendsmith engine makes the extra super tight atm. But don't think the yubel player played very well tbh
Personally I think playing only 1 Tractus is significantly worse than playing 2 of them for the same reason you play a second Poplar. Although, primarily used for extension, it’s not a garnet or even a brick and doubles as a starter when paired with any normal summon. 1 copy of Tractus turns Engraver into a brick when you open both (as seen in games 1 and 3) and can also make Engraver a useless topdeck in some simplified game states.
I only play in Master Duel where luckily you’d have to be a complete clown to consider running floodgates in your main deck due to it being BO1 + also not really having the room for them bc of Maxx C tax. But, holy hell… On top of Snake Eyes being broken, did they really have to make them so synergistic with floodgates to where you can just easily get rid of them after shutting the opponent out of playing? Overtuned doesn’t even begin to describe these cards.
game 2 instead of ns lurrie, they could have gotten to almiraj, ns samsara eff, summon spirit set directly to play around droll, pain pop spirit get squirmer, ch1 spirit, ch2 throne to add incarnate to hand then they droll and we know oak in hand so sp banish tcboo, summon phantom with the spirit and incarnate special squirmer synchro into chaos angel and banish ash then link into muckracker to summon yubel and pitch lurrie and you would also have either dies + phantom or caesar + phantom
No no, it's possible to search Snake Eyes Diabellstar over normal Diabellstar. Like my friend over the weekend at regionals was on 43 cards and forgot to put her on his deck list so they made him play 40 cards without Diabellstar the whole regional. So really it's entirely possible to just go against someone who doesn't have it in their deck 🤡
They 100% knew what they were doing with fiend smith. As much as I hate SE they’re a competent standalone deck, fiend smith was clearly designed to be an abusable splashable engine to milk the whales. TCG is a joke right now
Konami only designs the cards with the OCG in mind, which is why they are usually even stronger in the TCG and I think it wouldnt be even that bad if the Engine is for everyone accessible than atleast you could say everyone has access to it so you can use it if you want but right now its just Pay2win
@@DetectiveSktYou could say the same about most internationally consumed Japanese products. They design with the Japanese in mind and rarely make concessions for the international audience. As it relates to the OCG specifically, I agree with you. More specifically, I theorize cards, banlists, etc. are designed and weighed against MAXX C. It's why combo decks get more support and decks that play through MAXX C get hit harder in the OCG than TCG. Finally, they have no insensitive to design for casuals anymore. Locals and casuals don't make as much money in the TCG and the whales, top players, and Yugitubers will ensure there's always a profit.
