    Muema, is anyone in Kenya actually precasting pre-stressed T beams? I observed they use mild steel rebar, while pre-stressed T beams are supposed to be made with high tensile steel cables for rebar.

    Using concrete and cinder blocks puts more stress on the concrete beams. If you create concrete forms and use steel rods will help to support the structure

    How do you add cantilever slab with this type of technology especially when you want to lay block on top of the cantilever?

    • @PropertyNoma
      @PropertyNoma  4 місяці тому

      The Tbeams can extend from the last ring beam to the required span of the cantilever. But this depends on the structural slab design for the placement of the T beams

    Hello Nick,
    Can the walling panels be used as a substitute for the hollow blocks in between tue T-beaams when making the suspended slab?

    • @PropertyNoma
      @PropertyNoma  5 місяців тому

      No, if you want to use precast panels, you'll need to support them with steel beams

      Thanks for the reply.
      If I use the T-beams and hollow blocks for my ground floor slab is back filling after foundation walling necessary?
