Hi Everybody! The Thinkdiag just got an update, it now comes in a "All Software" Version and a "Single Software" version. Link to the scanner in the video description. The Single version is the one shown on this video, it supports many makes and models but it will be limited to One Make once you start using it just like shown on the video. The "All Software" allows you diagnose all Makes (so it does not limit itself to one Make only), based on what I'm hearing it's possible the "Single" version will eventually be discontinued and the "All Software" version will be the only one available, if that does happen, I will update this comment. Cheers!
Thanks for the video. This video answered the question I had. Completely agree about Thinkdiag should explain clearly what happens after the 1yr expiration. It does not explain at all about this. Very inconsiderate on their part.
You're welcome Tom! And what is interesting, is that at some point they also added the "All Software" and "Single Software" which I think adds to the confusion but when I asked about it, they said all single software are upgraded to all software (when bought from Thinkcar, link to them in the video description) so that left me even more confused LOL The main difference as it was explained to me of this new variants is that Single Software is for one vehicle brand (again chosen at the start) and All Software covering all car brand for 1 year. I found that renewing costs as much as a new tool. So I got a new tool that included a tpms tool subscription and a new full featured think tool. To me that really stinks because I'm not a mechanic. I just happen to need to scan more than one car and many different vehicles codes.
Hi Federico! Yes, if you need to scan multiple vehicles (advanced diagnostics, TCM, ABS, IMMO, BMS etc.) then a different tool makes more sense from a cost stand point. But if you only need to scan (basic OBD2 diagnostics, live data, DTC's, IM status, etc) the Thikdiag can still do this for multiple vehicles (in addition the 1 vehicle of choice for advanced diagnostics). So you want to consider the number of vehicles you need to access and the level of access you need have to decide if the Thinkdiag makes sense for you or not. Same with renewing the tool, it's really only needed if you need updates which as explained on this video, not all folks may need (and in those cases you can save money by not renewing) And here is my full review where I cover this and the rest of it's features ua-cam.com/video/Yy21TsscA_c/v-deo.html Cheers!

Do they have a 1-year comprehensive subscription for all makes/models/services? In other words, do they have a 1-year subscription that covers all makes/models/brands/services without having to pay for an individual brand or service? If so, how much is it for users in USA?
Hi Murad! Ah if you need all makes, modules and services then you will need one like this one where they are included as one single package ua-cam.com/video/9qwJlUEWN9A/v-deo.html or this one ua-cam.com/video/d1wFA3gsq20/v-deo.html Cheers!
The new ones in the UK appear to have all makes and models unlocked as standard. The pro (2 years) and the elite (3 years) definitely do come with all brands and models included.
Hi Harry! Interesting, please let us know if you are able to access and use all makes and models. The USA one shows all makes and models (even after you select the car makes you want to use it with) So this give the appearance that all models and models are unlocked during the 1yr period but once you actually select a different mode (from the one originally chosen) that is when the scanner will prompt you to add the additional module via a separate purchase. Its almost comical when i see other techs with their snap on scanner not be able to connect to a car cuz theirs is outdated and costs big chunk of money to update each time. I press one button at no cost and mines updated and reads the car they couldn't.along with having all bidirectional scan tool functionality as a high dollar scan tool .Have used to pull door keypad codes on fords, used for programable module installation process, and manually changed tpms sensor ids along with other special functions as well

You can also see at around the 2:26 mark where it says "Renew" next to each Service module and you can also renew using the shopping cart icon on the bottom you can see that icon around the 0:43 mark. Ofcourse if you want to add somthimg not inside it, you have to pay for that to download extra function in it.

Hum isko DZ software pe use kr skte he kyuki I think daigZone pe subscription finish hone ke baad bi all services use kr skte he old version pe. Sir plz reply
The mucar bt200 says it has lifetime free updates for around 120 brands the only thing u have to pay after 1 year was the services like brake bleed , oil reset etc. i ordered one , waiting for it to be shipped

@@miguelarmenta5703 Hi Miguel! Yes for a shop environment I recommend something larger like this one ua-cam.com/video/d1wFA3gsq20/v-deo.html The Thinkdiag is more aimed at the entry level home mechanic.
The USA one shows all makes and models (even after you select the car makes you want to use it with) So this give the appearance that all models and models are unlocked during the 1yr period but once you actually select a different mode (from the one originally chosen) that is when the scanner will prompt you to add the additional module via a separate purchase. did you try manually inputting the vin number if it works?
Hi! The autovin function is able to read the VIN so that part works however as you saw on the video it does not let you access the vehicle via it, same with typing the Vin, the device will recognize it but it will not take you the next step if the module has expired. Hi Scott! As explained on the video, the bi-directional and other advanced features work on single car model before and after the expiration date (but the standard OBD2 diagnostics and functions work for all cars before and after the expiration date). Which is the reason I recommend a different scanner like this one ua-cam.com/video/d1wFA3gsq20/v-deo.html if you plan to use it with several different car brands. Cheers!
Seems like it would be cheaper to just buy a new one with the 1 year free full access. If i use this device on 3 different car brands after the 1 year.. I would have to pay more than the original price i paid for the device.
Hi Conker! Yes It probably would if you need special functions for all 3 cars (remember standard diagnostics remain functional for all cars after the expiration date). But I do recommend for folks looking to work on multiple cars to get their larger scanner here amzn.to/467Lmwl that will support them without the limits of the ThinkDiag (since it's really meant to be a budget scanner) In the end I think the larger screen, additional features make sense to skip the smaller Thinkdiag for those working on several cars.
