- This is the culmination of three months work and why I started learning how to edit in the first place. As someone who sadly hasn't had the happiest of lives, The World looks Red resonated with me more than any other piece in ULTRAKILL and I wanted to make something out of it.
Hopefully what came of it was to your enjoyment and I'm glad you took the time out of your day to watch it.

Ok, what the fuck, dude. This genuinenly got me so amazed that I couldn't even write a proper comment as I was trying to gather my thoughts. And that emotion only got stronger when I checked the description, since, well, The Word Looks Red also resonated with me bcause of the same reason as you. I, and when I say this I mean it word for word, never subscribe to channels that I don't know enough about or simply don't have good quality, but this case is completely an exception. You should definitely get more views! :D
this looks so much like a awesome "update trailer", doesn't spoil much, has a great timing in most of clips and that beggining without almost any of the mannequins was so good.
The 7th layer update is one of the, if not the most inspiring update for ultrakill ever. So much new content in art department, but I can't blame it, the music is like never before

This looks so much like a trailer you convinced me to get a game I already have.
Also having all the mannequins disappear in the skeleton room brought back the eeriness, as I’ve played through that level a lot and got used to them all being there. Very good subversion and good job with the whole thing💪

Dev Commentary is back up! This is for those that wanted some insight into the creative process as well as my thoughts behind it. Now that the floodgates of people have closed, I feel comfortable having it out there.
For those curious about the new video, I'm going to be honest, it has been sat nearly finished for over 2 months now. I have lacked motivation to do damn near anything recently, even work on my passion projects. And I apologise to all of you who are looking forward to it. It's coming (I think), I'm just not sure when.
Edit: After reading some more comments, I realise the behind the scenes does merit a whole video. It'll allow me to elaborate upon my thoughts more instead of cramming them into the subtitles which I don't have room to (That's why the timing is really weird). The subtitles will remain for now. But I'll remove them when that video comes out.
