Good video. I just got my long mill and haven’t got a program yet and this was good to see that I can move my machine without it. I’m a noobie so thanks so much.
great video and good explanation. gratz for your patiance. im new in GRBL and i travelled many G-senders last 4 days since finished my new cnc grbl machine. Im in passion with G-sender, the problem its home button leads my bit deep 67mm down... this its deep abyss for me since i have a 300x180x45 baby here. So assuming ive setted mahcine dimensions properly, and travel maximum limit value for z its 45 '$132=45.000 (Z-axis maximum travel, mm)' so im confused. i disabled z axis invertion direction but it dosent helps also hehehe. Thank you for reading whoever are you , and feel free to help me i need hehehelbowcough
I appreciate a video that’s been recorded right next to a Laguna 1412 bandsaw, just like mine!😊 Thank you for taking the time to go over gSender. Still deciding between this and UGS. Liked, subscribed!
Thanks for this video, I found this to be very informative and the speed was just to my liking. I don't have a Logmill, I have a Shapeoko XXL. But I have been thinking about having a 2nd machine and since Longmill is 30 mins away I will get one of these machines. I watch Garrette Fromme fair bit and he swears by this machine. Looks awesome. Thank you again for your time, and now I am a subscriber.
Hi Bucky thanks for sharing all the wounder full videos! it been a real inspiration and fun following along. what windows operating system are using? i am having a hard time connecting my longmill to my windows 10 was working fine untill windows did an update. where i find help on this topic? keep up the good work. - Dan
I use win 11 but had 10 before with no issues. Maybe post on the FB group and someone on there can relate. Thank you for you kind words and support! Merry Christmas!
Bucky, I just bought a LongMill MK2 and I have a problem. when I am in G Sender and I set my Z Hight using the auto zero touch plate my X axis begins to move very slowly to the left about 6 inches and throes an #5 Error ? If you could find the time to maybe lead me in the direction on how to solve this problem it would be much appreciated?
Can i use two different sources of Power in the same controller board ? I mean the board have 3 Power input ways ...two of then are screw terminal and one its a Power Jack ... My machine ITS freezing and im wondering If the PSU Its maybe too weak for a 500w motor and plus the motors . The question its : can i Jack a DC 12v5a into board and plus keep the psu 48v10a too? I can also Wire the psu directly to the spindle but this way i ll need tô turn spindle manually ( or i can also use a reley)
Buy the way I’m thinking Vectric Vcarve pro. What is your recommendation for a computer? I only have a MacBook pro now and know I need a windows. Open for recommendations. Thank you.

I'm trying to use it with a Genmitsu 4040 Pro and Carbide Create. I doesn't seem all that easy. Not sure how to use the probe that goes with the 4040. Any advice?
I guess gSender is also a CAM program since it creates surfacing and calibration g-code 😀 I hope everyone is able to benefit by having an easier 'interface' to their hobby CNCs
Hey Jon! I am not familiar with the Maxnc10 machine. gSender is free to download on the website so I would say give it a try. I would suggest going on the Longmill forum and asking there as well. They may be able to help.
I got a kick out of you pretending you didn't know that Canadians and Brits pronounce the last letter of the alphabet correctly, whereas you Yanks mispronounce it as "Zee". So my question to you is, who's Zee, LoL!
Thanks

I use a Dell XPS 8920 for my cad software and just a cheap laptop to run the #Longmill.
I also would Recommend Checking out Garrett on #IDCwoodcraft ua-cam.com/users/IDCWoodcraft for help on Vectric VCarve. He is a master!

I would suggest you go to the sienci.com and open a support ticket.

Unfortunately No. Try the resources tab on their site.

@Bucky's Customs I have an older MAXNC10 that has some program that came with it.
Can I use this with my MAXNC10?
thank you from a total newbie.
