Smfh
And to add lets not act like there are a bunch of guys who have no business being on that list
Yeah that's fair i.m.o
If you watch the body of work Anthony Davis put together in his the last two seasons before he left Sacramento, and you look at his exceptionally good performance during the title run at the bubble, it's clear that Davis is a historically great forward that can be compared in greatness to players like Tim Duncan that played the same position.
Can you mention Kyrie in the same breath as Duncan? Naaaa.
Come to think of it, it's absolutely mind blowing to think that in that title winning season with LeBron, Davis scored 26.1 ppg in the regular season, and scored 27.7 during the playoffs in which he was absolutely excellent almost all through, but still LeBron was clearly the better player all through 😂
That just shows how absurdly good Bron is.

He probably would have been less injured if he upped his fitness

I mean Kyrie did talk about what had happened ever since leaving Cleveland. His first season at Boston he had suffered a massive knee injury that had left him out for the rest of the season, even missing the playoffs. The second season in Boston, he was dealing with the loss of his grandfather that he was close with. He still says this season was a let down tho. After that season, he joined BKN. First season, he only played 20 games and didn’t have KD for the entire season. The next season in BKN, they had both JH and Kyrie go down with an injury. We can’t ignore circumstances when we criticize players for not winning.
yes, you can, on one condition.......when they spend all their time hyping up THEMSELVES, talking themselves about how great THEY themselves are.........if you are gonna constantly hype yourself, you don't get the injury excuse, maybe he could learn to shut up and play games, if you are hurt and miss the number of games he has, you just stop talking.
Nah y’all mfs pick and choose who gets a pass when injured? What about this year he wasn’t hurt in the playoffs when they got swept? And he wasn’t hurt in 2019 when they lost to the bucks.

“He’s entitled to his opinion” - is the most overused and at the same time meaningless statement. Hear it everyday on ESPN and from NBA players. Of course, everyone on earth should be entitled to his/her opinion - but it does not mean it can’t be total 💩 if it makes no sense.
Well, "he's entitled to his opinion" is a way of politely saying "his opinion is trash", so I guess it makes sense to say it
“Hes entitled to his opinion” means your wrong but gone an feel that way big dawg
I mean whether it makes sense or not comes down to opinion as well... Sooo yeah, never ending loop, unless it's actually a fact in which his wouldn't even be up for question.
It should be normalize to criticize peoples opinions on the real
"He's entitled to his opinon" -- means all these analysts who have never picked up a ball a day in their lives and literally only make a living because of covering the game... should perhaps not tell a player how TF they supposed to feel. Cover the game, don't be out here "oh well who knows how he really feels now vs. 5 years ago vs. 6 years from now".
Brian Windhorst got unprecedented access to Lebron as a high schooler, his first run in Cleveland and when he initially went to Miami. Once Lebron and his four horseman started to get their autonomy and wanted to tell their own stories, they phased Windhorst out. So any thing he says that would allude to him knowing any of the inner workings or details of personal conversations about what Lebron was/is thinking or feeling have no real validity. He’s just, like the others, tapping into “sources” and piecing together a narrative.
I can remember vividly 2008-2014. Every single day windhorst always writes a piece about LeBron.
Bill Simmons was also a great columnist. But now has fallen off
Windhorst owes his career to LeBron
@@GameTime-yj6qv that’s a fact. He doesn’t offer much now. What’s his value? You see how easily he can fold when pushed about is intel. He’s like the “smartest” guy in the room until the smartest guy in the room arrives.
@@sjaykay9884 loved how he so easily unraveled with Beverly. He's not used to anyone at ESPN questioning him.
@@okorotobechukwu9687 he was the high school beat writer in Cleveland when Lebron was in high school. It goes to show you how really Lebron, similar to MJ, created an entire ecosystem that folks benefitted from and to a large degree, leeched off of. ESPN only hired Windhorst for they access. When Lebron went to Miami they made him the Lebron in Miami guy. When Lebron went to Cleveland notice who wrote that “I’m coming home” piece. You would think it would be Windhorst since he’s been the guy writing about Lebron his entire career to that point. But Windhorst started to think he got the job because he was *Kwame Brown voice* some “helluva guy” and was feeding those stories (some with some validity, a lot without) about Lebron and his camp and he cut him off.
Pat is what we needed on these NBA sports shoes god bless Pat
Pat has everybody on espn shook this week lol “we appreciate your honesty but we’re gonna have to let you go mr Beverly”
Windy said Kyrie didn’t make the top 75 list bc of his injuries , soooo why did Anthony Davis make it? That man is always injured and never plays
I’m tryna tellya these Mfs don’t even realize how they contradict themselves 😭
AD did significantly more than Kyrie ever did without Lebron
💯
@@MB-wz8yg AD accomplishments without lebron are minimal.
@@MB-wz8yg what he do ?
Salute to players like Pat Bev and JJ Redick holding it down in this media light. We need more of this! People who actually have played the game standing up for and respecting other players instead of these media clowns just talking just to have a segment. The media stay wanting to talk down on Kyrie because of decisions he decided to make for himself that they don’t/didn’t agree with. It’s not about y’all. Just because the man may not have won another championship since leaving the cavs doesn’t mean whatever Kyrie set out to do “hasn’t worked”. Like he said, he was a young 20 something year old who felt like he wanted to experience what the rest of the league was like. Let this man live his life.
Naw Pat a clown
JJ doesn’t fit that media role, he gets upset way too easily and tries to go at Stephen A in an emotional manner, Mad Dog Russo is better fit especially for First Take
@@FameTheRipper Naw, YOU da clown 🤡🤡 Who got more money? Pat Bev or you? Pat Bev don't even know who the F you are!
I am going to have to push back on that. This conversation got started because Kyrie was expressing regrets about leaving LeBron and the Cavaliers. He left because he thought he could do better professionally without Lebron and the Cavaliers. Since his departure from the Cavaliers in 2017(?), the Cavaliers had gone to one more NBA finals and LeBron two.
Nah, if I wanted to hear from players, they have channels, social media, interviews etc. etc. Pat Bev just sounds angry 90% of the time. It not as entertaining making fun of “analyst’s when there’s players doing it for us, TBH.
Thank you Pat Bev
ESPN is NOT ready 4 Patrick Beverly, PERIOD!!!
🤣🤣
Hey. Keep going! I’m tell you you’re built for this 😤💯. You never know how strong you
are until you Look back at everything you’ve overcome.
pat bev has been a blessing for espn also jj as well, they are the 2 that I keep coming back to watch espn
Hey @espn don't be stupid and loose JJ and Pat! They will keep you honest and resonating with the streets, cause we are here!!
Pat Bevv putting everybodyy on theyre toess! 😂
I'm with Pat Bev when he said "the game needs him (Kyrie)."
Yes, NBA is better with Kyrie. He just does not want to be in it a lot of times.
Lol he barley played the past two years and the league was still the same....The NBA don't need anyone
Not really. he's barely played recently and when he is playing his teams don't do much anyways.
it really doesn't tho lmao. If Kyrie retired tomorrow, literally nothing would change.
The game doesn’t need any player it will continue to be watched no matter whose playing
Meh, everyone knows Kyrie's goal was to win without Lebron, now personal or team goals, he aint done much either.
lmao fr pat bev just tryna act smart or something
Exactly! He made that very clear right after they won the chip..together! Kyrie can 🏃🏿♂️. 💯
Everyone knows Kyrie’s goal? The man said what he wanted out his own mouth and y’all still mix up his words which is why he don’t care what y’all say
@@curtiskellman7321 he DOES care what people say. Proof being he keeps saying he doesn't care.
If he REALLY didn't care, he wouldn't even address it, but he does constantly.
@@marloncurry5805 this is y’all problem now Kyrie says he don’t care then income y’all “he dO CaRe iF h3 dIDnT he wouldn’t say”..Shutup the man said he stop caring about what the media says and that’s it why y’all love him so much
Pat Bev is the greatest lawyer ever in an alternate universe... Good job pat..
I’m here for all Patrick bev appearances he is just honest and throwing a wrench in the media’s agenda lol
The 1st two days of Pat Bev was cool. I feel this thing he’s doing will get old very quick. Dude makes excuses for the players in the league he “like”
Pat bev is refreshing. It’s good that he is challenging them so don’t feel like that can say whatever they want uncontested.
And yet u continue to watch even though you see he see he will be in the video lol
Bro I hate Pat Bev but he basically calling out the media for being bias he is defending players the media tries to bash on a daily and calling out the media for not keeping the same energy for the players they like
@P.C.L all that is cool but clearly he’s just saying things for the shock value. To be clear, I’m not a fan of the mainstream media either. They be saying crazy stuff too. But Pat seems like he’s just coming off as combative just because
ESPN will wear him down unfortunately
I think Brian was uncomfortable with Patrick challenging him. Lol
Facts
Patrick disagrees with anything he says, it's like talking to a wall.
@@mlo009 I get what you're trying to say but you're using the figure of speech "it's like talking to a wall" wrong. Lol. That figure of speech is used when the other person is not listening and or doesn't respond when you are speaking to them.
That switch from Bev to Patrick was interesting. Pat Bev got these people BIG mad😂
LOVE PAT !!!!! intelligent, smart, fast & funny ..... LOVE PAT
The media has been trying to kill Kyrie all year. I appreciate Bev putting pressure on Windhorst
I like Pat Bev even more now. He sticks up for players, that being trashed for no GOOD reason and is hard on players who NEED it.
I was about to say the same all the bs aside he sticks up for the players even when they ask if harden deserves a max im pretty sure he knows harden hasn’t played good enough to deserve it but still said he did
Facts
Well Kyrie doesn’t play, that’s a pretty good reason
You must not have seen him talking about CP3.
Windhorst wasn't trashing Kyries he literally agreed with what Kyrie was saying on the podcast, Bev tryna bring up saying Kyrie wasn't performing well cuz of injuries is dumb af as well, cuz if he hadn't left there's a chance he wudve been healthy.
Pat with some more facts 🔥🔥🔥
I love when players put reporters on spot
Patrick making sure media get everything correct 😂 .. Pat “ When you say them wym ? 😂 when you say superstar wym ? 😂 gotta love ‘em
ESPN please stop bringing Pat Bev on. He just runs his mouth to run his mouth without adding any substance or facts to back up his points.
nah pat bev keeping theses niggas in they place i like it…
Pat up there with the drunk uncle polo on. Lmao 😂😂 If you know you know
Does anybody know which game the clip at 0:18 is from? 😮
I wish we could have more interactions like this where reporters get called out for these they say, not saying pat was right or wrong but this ish funny af
Yeah but don't go after Brian Windhurst, that just seems kinda mean.
You can tell these folks don’t really watch the game or pay attention to the players bruh literally explained everything that led to him being on the nets
Kyrie wanted to be “the guy” and it failed. He is a second option at best.
Patrick Beverly had Brian Windhorst scared for his life stuttering 😂😂😂
One of the things I appreciate about Pat is that he actually makes an effort to speak proper English. And and doesn't try to sound cool by using slang every other sentence.
FINALLY...Someone on tv speakin on behalf of the players who ACTUALLY play!! If "not working out" means not goin to the NBA Finals then that means about 98% of ALL professional athletes careers haven't "worked out".. I swear these dudes on tv just say anything without having to stand on it, it's good to finally see someone hold these clowns accountable for what they say. Kyrie is DEFINITELY an all time great without putting a "but" after it followed by off the court hate you have for him smh.
Your a clown
Exactly
Yes of course he is a top 100 player, not a top 75 tho but still a all time great
@@josepaoli4278 sound dumb asl
@@josepaoli4278 it's crazy how you say that, but the players put him as a definite Top 75 and in many cases, much higher than that. ...but we'll believe you, right?
Kyrie is an amazing basketball player and a very fascinating human. But the reality of his career is that he leaves a giant path of destruction in the wake of every team he plays on.
You mean LeBron??
@@Che-jn9oi lol, him too. But LeBron has a tendency to leave chips sprinkled in his path around the league.
where has your career took you??
His playing style is for the streets not NBA, it's for the entertainment of the bystanders. It''s not meant to win championships, hehehe.
@@Che-jn9oi Look who just recently jumped on the band wagon
Pat’s not letting these talking heads just make their empty comments about things they don’t know about. 💯
i love seeing Pat Bev on espn cuz his comments and words are honestly true opionions from a dude that is gonna speak his heart/mind regardless of what others wanna hear or expect him to say. i think people are demanded to say what espn tells them too say nomatter if they agree or not cuz they want people to say "Only" what they have writen down for them to say which to me is BS. respect honest opionions and people who think for themselves which who is Pat Bev is which is Great if u ask me.
