Great job. Just what I was looking for, but I prefer the struts on the inside out of sight and my floor is removable so the house can be cleaned for the incoming tenants. Thanks.
Good job. Feller viewers make sure you drill the hole on top of the front birdhouse wall, because predators can fish out chiks if they can reach it with paws. For house cats it's easy Spring snack.
Looks great, however one small oversight is that it's all glued and nailed so can't be cleaned out. Might be a good idea to use a couple of screws on the roof so that it can be opened for cleaning. Looks great and I'm certainly going to copy your base design. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻
Xtreme Softball do everything he did, except for instead of gluing and nailing the bottom piece, screw it in with no glue. The bottom doesn't need to be watertight so as long as you have good cuts and it is relatively tight to the sides, you can screw it in.
Wow, a job well done. If you haven’t already, google Hyezmar’s book, it’s a rough draft of a great woodworking book to be published soon. Have a great day!
There are a few ideas for building birdhouses: Give yourself enough time. Use done for you boat plans. (I read about these and more on Aviary magic method website )
Not to be a downer, but...Too many areas not sealed off that will induce rain to get in easily, the bottom has no holes for ventilation and water runoff when it does get flooded and the worst of all: No way to open it and clean it out at all after the breeding season...The could be a dead baby, unhatched 🥚s and there will be bird mites...Honestly, it sadly was a waste of time chief...
This was great, thanks, I been tryin to find out about "how to make birdhouses out of wood" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Daniliana Birdfly Babar - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my buddy got excellent results with it.

Ти Крутий із таких маленьких досків зробити таку гарну дуплянку
How are you going to clean It? You need a hinge door for access.
Just a great idea!!
Good, very good.......
Great idea but how do you clean it out?

Awesome. Had similar idea and this completed it for me. Maybe a hinged door for cleaning and some holes in bottom for drainage ?
How do you open it to clean it??
You don't.
No way to clean out birdhouse . It can't be re used?
Nice job :)
😁😁😁
I give away or sell for .50 cents each 100's of pallets a year. Great Idea. How much time invested and how much do you sell them for?

I can guarantee that people have learned something from this video so don’t be so critical. Perhaps you’d care to show us some of your work ?
There are many similar projects in Woodglut's plans.
