Thank you! I’m still often tempted, but I force myself to think long (like months) about the purchases and I’m pretty picky too. I also try to catch myself when I lust after the next pretty thing and consciously redirect that attention to enjoying what I already have - I’m human and it’s still a work in progress hahaha 😅

For the ruthenium hardware chains I use the yellow sunshine cloth (Amazon)about once a year. It removes the tarnish and the chains look as good as new.

I just wanted to say that beside the great content there is something I like about you and your video but I cannot put my finger on it. Maybe the way you talk ? It is very smoothing and calming. This to say that I could listen to you talk for hours no mater the topic. Wishing for a heathy growth to your channel.
I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials-brass, synthetic pearls, glass. The other one is a $40 *gtdupe* backpack replica - also good for comparison - I can't find any differences and still use it in the gym

My one complaint about lower end bags, even the leather ones, is how poorly the hardware wears (the second is the glazing cracks)! The rest of the bag may look good as new, but the metal becoming pink or silver (under gold for example) within the first year, really grinds my gears! I hoped that luxury bags had superior materials, which they do, but even Chanel gold will wear off eventually... I don't understand why they don't just use a metal that is the intended colour, why coat it... Anyway. Rant over. You have a lovely collection!
Hahaha I can relate to that frustration. I even thought about maybe taking my coach bag to be re-plated or something, but I don't even know if it's feasible/worth it especially if that's going to cost more than the bag itself. And totally agree with how you feel with luxury bags, it's so disappointing when the hardware wears like that 😔
What a wonderful and perfectly curated collection. Great video too! Just want to let you know that unfortunately Longchamp is discontinuing the Neó line entirely. Maybe worth considering getting a backup tote while it it still in stock. Or not! Yours probably still has years of life left in it. :)
Thanks for the info -- I did not know that! I might actually consider it. I'm surprised that they would discontinue that line -- I always thought that it was pretty popular. Though it looks like the new le pliage green line might be a good alternative (since it has the monochromatic look)
It seems like they’re replacing it with the City line, which is now coated canvas, so more rigid ( think LV or Gucci canvas). Before they created the Neo line, there used to be a line called Planètes, which was actually a thicker version of the Neo, due to the microfibre lining on the inside. I was pretty devastated about the discontinuing of the Planètes because the Neo was a bit more thin/flimsy. I’m glad they came out now with the ticker City, which offers more structure to the bag.
