Great to see your bag collection, and to hear about the rationale behind your choices, Kim. It’s so clear how much you love the coral and chalk ones. As someone else commented, the YSL one is my favourite for practicality. I really need to pare mine down. I go for too many different colours & styles and don’t look after them well enough. Thanks for the motivation to declutter. With it being a French brand that uses the accented è, I pronounce it polehn ;-)
My favourite is the YSL bag for practicality and looks. I love the wine red Polène bag but I don’t think it would be very practical for me personally. I love the look of the red Polène bag but I don’t think it would be very practical. But the Cyme bag also looks practical and nice and big.
I’m so late to this video 😢 I’ve recently seen someone say they have had issues with Polene bags in the last few months saying they’re not as good a quality as they were and that they have terrible customer service service. I was thinking of investing in one having seen your reviews, but these new videos on YT have made me rethink. For the YSL bag, get in touch with them and they may be able to recolour/refurbish the strap for you. I used to work with leather goods and soft handbags like your YSL are more prone to wear and tear, it’s the nature of that type of leather. For small scratches that are on the surface, it’s worth rubbing them with your fingers as the oils from your hand tend to help them merge into the leather. Something you can do for a few minutes at a time whilst watching YT or a movie. Also if you need a leather cleaner, Coach does a very good one. I put it on a cotton bud to just clean up small spots or on a soft cloth for bigger spots. Their leather moisturiser is good too, I’ve used it on a leather jacket too after I got caught in shower with no brolly 😅

This would however explain why the Cyme bag is showing more signs of wear and tear comparing to the others. Also, thanks for the tips for YSL bag, I will definitely try them out 😊
