- Thandie (born 26th of November 2018) is holding her baby (half)sister Vizazi (born 24th of June 2020). And of course mommy Mambele is close to get Vizazi back whenever she wants and thinks its necessary. But it is so incredibly cute!

I must be feeling emotional today because this made me tear up a little. Thandie is still just a little girl gorilla I but she is already learning how to love well. The way she cradled her little sister's head was so tender and sweet. Thank you for sharing this Liekes!! This made my day much sweeter. ❤💞❤

Knowing how hard Thandie has tried to get close to Vizazi since she was born made this video very heart warming. Thandie knew exactly how to situate Vizazi for a short romp and Mama was right on her heels.

This is so sweet to watch ♥️. You can tell she wants to carry her sister around but the baby keeps gripping her too hard and it’s hurting her but she doesn’t want to stop holding her sister lol. Such a sweet girl.

It was indeed so funny. Vizazi is way to big to walk or run with though she tries, and mambele follows them xD. And when she wants to hold Vizazi a bit different, she has to get her hands of. thanks for watching and the lovely comment!
Yes they try to pull their little hands off like that sometimes because it hurts when they pull hair holding on so tight especially if on tender, sensitive skin of one so young still!
She loves her little sister
Thandie is such a good big sister. I absolutely love watching her videos. She’s trying so hard to carry her little sister the way she was carried around and the way Vizazi’s mom carries her but she’s not quite strong enough yet. I hope they continue to grow a strong bond with each other. Both little girls are so precious and Vizazi’s spikey hair is just too cute for words.
That is so darn sweet how Thandie carries her baby sister Vivazi just like her mommy would, and she's only twice her size. This family is so close. There is so much love between them all.

Wwow they are very different my first time ever seeing this out of all the Troops I've watched thats so loving and precious its a lot of love in this Troop and trust.

Wow ive never seen a young gorilla be so careful with a baby. Usually theyre energetic and trying to play or wrestle

Very interesting. If you compare Thandie to Gentaro in Kyoto Zoo, there is such a strong gender difference in how babies behave and how their gorilla parents trust them.
I haven't seen any gorilla baby this caring or this interested to care for their sibling. Mostly I have seen them running around, teasing and playing like some wild gorillas. But then I have mostly seen boy gorilla sibling interaction. Though I don't know if it's just Thandie who's different, specially as she's still so young herselft.
@@teijaflink2226 Komomo is a good big sister to her little siblings. I think the girl gorillas are more gentle.
@@teijaflink2226 yes and you have to understand that Gentaro was seperated from Genki when he was days old, not enough breast milk. It was very traumatic for Genki, who the vet stated,he will never forget her screams when they removed Gentaro. He was human raised until 10 months of age. This changes them a little.
Gentra was removed from his mother when he was days old due to lack of breast milk. This was traumatizing for Genki. Gentaro was human raised until 10 months old which changes the dynamics.

Wat een prachtig filmpje Lieke! Echt mooie momenten heb je vastgelegd. Hoe schattig bijvoorbeeld dat Vizazi op 00:49 al probeert te bijten/spelen met Thandie. Je ziet op haar gezichtje de vastberadenheid staan hé. Die gaat zich niet laten doen door grote zus hihihi. Ook hoe Thandie baby's handjes probeert los te wringen maar Vizazi telkens weer haar ijzeren grip op Thandie haar vachtje. Hier kan je gewoon naar blijven kijken en blijven bewonderen hé, zo'n mooie en interessanter wezentjes!
