- guys, the kiss has officially happened! one might call it... steamy? 😏 I really had such a fun time with this episode, especailly with the pairing off with the Downworlders. UGH it was SO GOOD! also, LOVE the callback to vampire Alec, not a bad idea 🤔

yes yes and YES. Alec with magic is the biggest slay I've seen on this show, I needed more of that 🤣 like imagine after he and Magnus reunited, he was like check this out, and started doing magic stuff, AMAZING. 🤣
The Alliance Rune pair-ups were such a great aspect of this episode - I never knew I needed a Jace/Meliorn combo before their hilarious banter! And of course, Malec's reunion was the sweetest!!
right!? this was one of my favorite things to watch in the show. I never knew it was possible and I loved every second of it! 🩶
I can't believe this series is coming to a close! I have no words to describe just how much it has meant to me. That you listened to my rants, let me text you about them, watched you what I sent, it has been an honor to be able to watch this series. Next episode I'm going to be posting a huge comment about what happens to each character in the end of the books. It's a huge comment, so I'll be posting it in parts, and I really hope you like it! I loved this series so much, thanks again! So, for the second to last time, here are your fun facts of the episode. 1.) Sebastian never got wings in the books. There was a character who had black wings, but his name is Ash- more on him in the next episode. He never really became a demon. He just- was who he was. He was also born with his blonde hair. Didn't have red hair in the books- ever. 2.) Alec always fidgeted with his fingers in earlier seasons, and the second he got engaged to, he moved his fidgeting to his ring. 3.) Edom did not kill Shadowhunters in the books. It weakened them, made runes mostly unusable, but they could enter it just fine. While Jace and Clary were effected because they had higher concentration of angel blood, and Jace has heavenly fire in his veins, neither of them died. 4.) The binding rune was a real thing in the book! Actually, it was first introduced in the third book, before the war against Valentine. It was a way to unite the Shadowhunter and Downworld army, against his. Magnus and Alec were bounded together, and it's actually why they shared their first public kiss! It only appeared once again, when Magnus and Alec used it to get through their ordeal in Avicii, another hell dimension, during their travels to Shanghai (long story, great book). 5.) Luke had his beard shaved because his actor got a role in It 2, and that required a shaved face. Also, Luke never becomes a Shadowhunter in the books. 6.) The song that plays in the background of Malec's reunion is called Find You by Mark Diamond, and it is one of my favorites to this day. 7.) Because this is the second to last episode, I wanted to end this fact with my favorite quote from Shadowhunters... Ever. It is Cassandra Clare's most famous quote, and I wouldn't be surprised if you've heard it before. "We are all the pieces of what we remember. We hold in ourselves the hopes and fears of those who love us. As long as there is love and memory, there is no true loss." Thank you, Ryann. These books, this show, they saved my life three years ago. They helped me with one of the hardest time in my life, and your reaction has reminded me of my love for them. I can't wait to see what's next.

ok can we talk about sizzy first because I waited three years for this ship to become canon and their first kiss was absolutely incredible it’s everything I deserved 🥰, they were one of my fav ships in the books (with malec ofc) “it was so hot it literally set her on fire” stop that made me snort 🤣😭
magnus telling lilith to get lost was so hot we deserved dark magnus in s4 it would’ve been such a good storyline 😩
saying goodbye to jordan sucked but it’s nice to see how much simon and maia and the wolves cared about him
“you were kissing my sister?” lmaooo and jace being disgusted by it and clary being like hell yea I love that so much omg that scene was so good but poor simon and izzy not being able to touch 😭
the whole team being tethered together with a rune is really cool I loved it, I loved the pairings too!! of course we get clary and simon but the other pairings were so fun too, seeing alec with magic 👀, you being excited was so me I loved this whole storyline
seeing lorenzo help alec made me like him a lot more, and it’s always great to see clary and simon together, their talk about the shadow world and stuff was very sweet but felt so final like it really hit me the show was ending here, jace not being able to lie is super hilarious I love it “on a scale of 1-10 how handsome do you think I am?” I love it and they slayed that fight
so now luke is a shadowhunter again!! instead of turning mundane he turned back into a shadowhunter which is what he was born as of course, such a cool twist and I actually like that for him!
alec and clarys reunion with magnus 🥺 & jace talking about how he admires simon like I knew it but I’m so glad we got to hear him say it !!
jonathan is super powerful and scary now and I cannot wait for the series finale with you! when it aired this episode and the next episode aired at the same time, so I watched it live and with commercials it was almost three hours lol, but i enjoyed every second of it!

Oooo man only episode left! It’s the final countdown. About the sizzy kiss brings a whole new meaning to burn baby burn 😂 there’s so much more to come for everyone lol I think the reason everyone was just on board to try clary’s rune because they knew Alec was serious and was gonna find a way into Edom with or without them, which clary is really testing the angels patience’s each time she goes against them, that’s all I’m gonna say on that 😬 as for the whole Johnathan thing, now that he’s separated from clary he no longer has her good nature and angelic presence influencing him, his demon blood has changed him. You can see the exact moment he’s separated from her his eyes turn black, while he influenced her to more darker impulses, clary also kept Jonathan more human and he at least tried to be good but now that there separated…..about Luke, this whole storyline never happened in the books but not gonna lie I do like it lol it makes sense that Luke would turn back into a Shadowhunter seeing as he was originally one until valentines betrayal. Thou I gotta admit the runes on him look a little out of place lol I did love that Jace couldn’t lie 😂 as for clary and Simon In there little talk they definitely foreshadowed something, all I’m gonna say. Now onto the most important part Alec willing to stay in Edom just for magnus, him looking at Maryse and saying I’ve got a wedding to plan 🤌🏼 fucking top tier lol Lorenzo begrudgingly gets better lol you’ll see next episode, Most get a happy ending while some get a new start 😅 all I can say.
you're so right about the sizzy kiss- one might call it STEAMY? I think it was so interesting how the rune was influencing them and balancing them out between each other- I really thought that was interesting!

Your silence after "They, you know, are engaged. But rhen-" is SUCH A MOOD xD. That goodbye still hurts lol, even having seen this episode and the finale. When you were talking last episode about it maybe finally looking up I was just sitting there like "well. Hm. It depends on how you look at it" xD, for overall plot and Clary/Clace, Malec, and Sizzy lol, they all kind of get better and then take take a dive a bit xD. But we make it through lol, no matter what.
