Awesome job Andy! Would never have know it was your first technical video. Great introduction to what is going to be covered, all the visuals were clear (I would maybe recommend a bigger font on the topology), no speaking issues and unwanted "um". Nice work, Andy! A few nice aspects of Netflow compared to other options, such as ACL logging or Embedded Packet Capture are that it has a low performance impact, you don't have to customize it for the specific type of traffic you're looking for, and you can pretty safely leave it on all the time so you don't have to worry about submitting a troubleshooting change request in a production environment. If you can also manage to configure a robust Collector to export the flow data to that's even better, but even with that it's a pretty handy tool to have readily available when trouble tickets come it (which they always do).

Great demo. Question enabling net flow on a production - should we use ACL ? will it have similar impact as debug ip any any ?

You don’t need an ACL for netflow and to my knowledge, most modern platforms can run it 24x7 with no negative impact on performance.
