- This nebula is not in the Milky Way Galaxy.
I used my camera and telescope to photograph NGC 604 (and many other nebulae) in the Triangulum Galaxy.

The final image includes 6 hours of total exposure time taken with the ZWO ASI2600MM Pro camera.
Thank you for watching, and clear skies! - Наука та технологія
Trevor I look up to you a lot because the photos you deliver, and the kindness in your videos. Keep it up!
I appreciate that!

Give me replay, Trevor
NGC 604 looks really bright on the H-Alpha. I also have done some researches on it a few days ago, and it's a really beautiful nebula.
Also, love the final result, and what a montage! :)
I love this hobby! Connecting to the community and learning to do something new is the best part of this craft. We truly do live in the golden age of astronomy.
Dude, you single handedly got me deep into astrophotography. Thanks!
Same
Thank you for saying that - means a lot!
Trevor, you’re the reason i even got into astrophotography! you’ve inspired me a lot, and your tips have helped me capture my first picture of the orion nebula recently. Thanks for everything! Clear Skies🌌
Seeing nebulosity in my first good Andromeda picture earlier this year has had me thinking about this type of imaging. Very nice image.
In the first frame of your montage you can really see how many of those regions are bubbles of gas!
Outstanding
And wow, that image is literally awesome! Your videos always motivate me to go out there and shoot whenever I have clear skies! Thank you for making such great videos.
Great image Trevor - lots of fantastic detail of the areas of nebulosity throughout the galaxy (loved the montage). If you visit the southern hemisphere, be sure to point your scope at the LMC and SMC - I am always in awe of the fact that we can image nebulae in another galaxy in such fine detail down here.
Trevor, great image, I love your passion for the hobby and your video editing is …out of this world.
Fabulous image Trevor. Very interesting and intriguing concept. Will be trying it myself. Thanks for the ideas 😁
Fascinating and inspirational video - thanks Trevor & Ashley, keep 'em coming!
Hey Trevor Love your videos ! Astrobackyard has been my inspiration for this hobby ! please keep up the great work !
I love this so much. I just shot M33 for the first time this past week with my little mirrorless camera/star tracker/zoom lens setup and it's possibly my favourite target now. Your image is amazing - inspiring for me to keep working at it! Thanks for sharing!
This is 1 of my favorite vids to date! This blew my mind. I have my own scope rigs and this is something i can do! Amazing
Astrobiscuit has just imaged the same nebula, pitted against a professional telescope and did pretty good. You two should collaborate :)
Great capture! The montage at the top as usual!
I’ve been imaging M33 as well. Got almost 200 hours of exposure time so far (yes, 200 hours 😂). I don't want to brag, but I possibly discovered something new there! I am planning to finish this project soon, and share my observations!
Wow. I want to do that but on a galaxy cluster. You better comment your astrobin lol. Can't wait to see your results!!
Amazing and freaking awesome!!!
Great job Trevor!
Imagine imaging with a big scope like the c11
That's awesome Trevor! I did an HaRGB version of trhe same galaxy not that long ago. Except I did it with a reflector not a refractor like you have. Excellent work!
Damn! This video and the image absolutely slapped! Really great work! You’ve levelled up again!!
Really appreciated the image processing discussions.
The astrophotographers living in M33 must have some seriously awesome targets to keep them busy.. including the Milky Way :)
I only just started Astrophotography because of you and have taken one photo using your Tutorial, once i saw the Milky in my camera i got goosebumps. I LOVE THIS! Thanks for your inspiring videos.
Such an amazing image Trevor!
I can imagine an intergalactic “Trevor” capturing images of Milky Way nebulae from a planet within M33 now 😂
Mind blowing as you say…….well done!
Cheers Si
Jeeeeez, you’re killing it dude! This looks incredible! I really want to go after M33 once it’s clear!
Incredible, Trevor! You and Ash are truly Living the dream! 👍
Thanks for sharing! Inspiring for sure!!!
Spectacular. Nice work Trevor.
Trevor! Can you please do a video specific to gradient removal in Astro photos? Lots of people have this issue and it would be great to see your approach!
i dont know whats better: the music or the actual video content. :D great video!
Absolutely amazing!!!
You inspired me to take a dive into astrophotography and I ended up purchasing the WO FLT132 after seeing your review on it. The Triangulum Galaxy was my first target with my setup. Looks like you got more Ha than I did. I'm curious to know what your exposure per frame was. Also what Ha filter you used. I used a ZWO Ha filter along with the ZWO LRGB on a ASI6200MM camera. My exposure time was 180s and captured 10 frames per filter. Thanks for sharing!
I actually observed NGC 604 for the first time just two weeks ago at Bortle 3 dark sky site. Cool to see it is also a focus of your new video!
Beautiful picture Trevor!
That was awesome, thanks for sharing.
Stunning! 🔭 🌌 😍
Thank you Trevor 👍
Great image!
In the southern hemisphere we have the best example of a nebula in another galaxy - the Tarantula Nebula is in the LMC.
Yes, and few other interesting nebulea 😊
looks like you haven't missed a beat!! Nice video/image!!
Awesome video thank you ! ❤
I’m taking my SeeStar out to Bortle 3 skies for the first time on Saturday. Backyard photos looked just like yours, so looking forward to better detail.
Awesome and inspiring scientific work!
Damn you really got me into something. I always loved to take pictures of Landscapes etc. Two months ago i found your Channel and what can i say. I now have everything at home to start astrophotography. Skyguider Pro, Modded 60D, Zentihstar60. Sadly i only had 2 hours of clear sky since i have everything together. I took my first shots of the andromeda galaxy the stacked picture is absolutely crap but im so adadicted now. Everyday i look at my weatherapp and check if i get another chance to go out. Really appreciate your work keep it up.
Greetings from Germany .
Nice image, If I can suggest something, I would try doing continuum subtraction on the HA. The resulting image would be even cleaner.
Woah baby that’s so cool. Intergalactic! Dr B from Manitoba, Canada 🇨🇦
A starless SHO version would be VERY interessting! Incredible image, thank you for sharing!
You will certainly need lucky imaging to get details from these nebulae. This is also my goal for the next months. Planetary techniques for DSO.
Love it !!
The premiere waiting scene was SICK!
Buenas tomas amigo trevor saludos desde comayagua Honduras
Killer work broski.
As always … WOW !!!
Surprised you didn’t mention it but Leonardo is also the creator of Voyager automation/astrophotography software. An amazingly robust program for AP if anyone is interested.
I'd like to see the results you get with a medium format film camera using a digital back. Maybe a pretty wide field, something like Orion to Pleiades; something simple and recognizable.
Thats crazy, I just did the cheaters version of this last week! Unfortunately a bright moon made my attempt not so great, it was really cool to see Nebula in other another galaxy! My simple version consisted of a redcat 51, ASI533MC Pro, 180 minutes of broadband, and 120 minutes of dual narrowband (L-Ultimate).
I am definitely going to revisit this when I have better conditions.
Also funny to hear Ashley mention the flaming star nebula. I just did a flaming star / tadpole shot that might be my favorite image so far.
The Ha M33 is one of my favourites
W Intergalactic Astrophotography montage
Every time you drop a video I feel like that kid who used to lay out in the grass staring up in wonderment at the night sky. Thank you.
Great video you do a good job with these videos. I have learned a lot from you don't you wish you lived there? Bottle 3 sits awesome
Hey Trevor! I Love this Video! May I suggest a thumbnail modification... Title the Video "Imaging Another Galaxies Night Sky" and use an Image from Timestamp 0:59. (the overlay of Orion's Belt and You Programming the telescope.) I Love the quality of your videos and would like to see more engagement on your Channel!
Congratulations Sir 🎉🎉🎉
I took a 4 panel mosaic of M33 the other day with my Edge HD 8” and ASI 533 MC Pro and you can totally see the nebulae in my image too! Is the vignetting in your image from the filters or scope? I’m planning to get the 2600MM next spring and have been going back and forth on 36mm or 2” filters
You have such a clear sky! Where do you live???
That's a damned impressive image for a fairly "budget" setup.
Amazing
Took it to a whole other level 😮
Hey Trevor what do you think about doing a video again on a Ritchey-Chretien? Im really keen into getting one but i cant find any videos as proof of how it could perforn except pictures on astrobin and on forums
First you got me into astrophotography, then you got me more serious about how I process images, and Now you are dragging me into whole other galaxies! Can I get a job? 😅
Trevor do you find the tracking on the AM5 better with a counter wieght even when your not at the wieght limt the specs require. I get it way not but just curious if you see better tracking?
Great video Trevor 🍻 appreciate everything you do not sure if you remember me meet you at the Cherry Springs star party my name is Sam Skirchak clear skies 🍻🔭🍻🍻
33 is great for visual at low power--using a scope or binos. Then it just pops out.
I'd like to thank you for reigniting my interest for astrophotography. I currently can't afford a set up close to yours but I am starting with a Canon eos rebel xsi 450d and one I found on eBay is looking to be going for less than $100 but it's currently at just under $30 or so (I'm guessing that's right based on the currency here in the UK being GBP) and then obviously then saving up for the other stuff like a telescope and star tracker etc. I might go go for the Canon 6d but I'm not sure. Overall I'm looking to spend up to $1000 at the very most. I'm just not sure how to make money from it as I'm literally just waiting to start it for the first time because I love it so much but I'm just worried about it working out but I'm determined to make it work.
I genuinely would love your take on the “firmament “ and the flat earth theory 👌🏾
You inspired me to make astrophotography but i use a on-step and my phone camera, but one day i,ll make images like yours❤❤
What counterweight brand are you using on your Am5 mount?
Those nebulas must be absolutely huge to be visible from another galaxy thousands of Beatles must be thousands of light years in size
KERPLOEF! Wow, just did not seem descriptive enough, so,,,,,um,,,,,I made up a word,
Simply a mind blowing outrageous image! I think,,,the absolute best to date.
Question, you moved recently, why not move to the peninsula, with the dark sky😢
It’s great up here, and coyote’s and bear, are pretty shy,
Cheers,
Tony
Do u you do requests? I have a star I'd really like to see, it is pretty sentimental to me.. please let me know thanks
What tripod or pier is being used here?
I don't hear much about the hyperstar , 25 times faster imaging ! is it worth the price tag ? I have a cpc1100 and thinking of getting one I'm lazy ,setting up the wedge is a chore, I can't polar align to save my life and it looks stressful on the telescopes gears when tilted at such angles . So taking a few seconds shots looks appealing . Any opinions ? Has anyone got one ? Thanks 🙂
Impressive.
You need to give names to all those nebulae.
hi trevor, what about a little challenge? Caldwell 6 :D
How do i know what spacer to use with a reducer or ff on my awo camera?
Sir,
How many mm eyepices is suitable for 6" telescope.
man I wish I had the money to spend on a setup for astro-photography, as it is I barely ever even get the dob out.
what camera is being used at 3:40? any filters or mods?
How far up the Bruce did you go? I've been dreaming of going up there for awhile
We stayed near Woseley. Went for a beautiful hike around Colpoys Bay!
What battery pack do you use?
Cool
Pity you can't see the LMC or SMC every night. Tarantula Nebula awaits!
Sir can you take picture of Mars again. Because you've improved so much past these years and last time you posted a video on Mars 3 years ago so I'm curious what Mars will look like if you took a picture of Mars now
I got my T3I working again thank you Trevor!
Glad to hear that! Clear skies!
@@AstroBackyard Dang I got my twitter deleted
Hi Trevor,
Askar 185APO is launched.
Someone’s looking back at ours!
First one waiting in line, this has got to be NGC 604!
Yup, pretty sure it's NGC 604.
I think I need to point my 8" RC onto M33. 😊
can you take an image of uranus or neptune in future
Yeah, that's cool.
Would it be even cooler if you took a pic of a Nebula in another Galaxy but also in ANOTHER BACKYARD? Like, sneak into your neighbours? Just for the thrill? :)
I'm sitting on loads of Ha and RGB data of M33 but as a person who only uses free software I don't think I have a reasonable way of combining the two. If anyone knows of something please let me know.
