How to Complete the Square, and Why We Complete the Square!

Completing the square is something we learn about, in order to put a quadratic equation into vertex form (so we can find the vertex of a parabola). It is helpful if you already have learned about Perfect Square Trinomials... and so I recommend watching that before watching this video. AND I recommend watching the next video, where I also show a way to find vertex form using a much quicker method than completing the square. Enjoy! Vertex for first example is (-4, -11). You forgot the negative in 11.
