  • A police officer's job requires dedication, stamina, and staying calm under pressure while protecting and serving the people first. In Dearborn, the requirements are being tested further as some of their finest uphold the law while fasting for over 14 hours during the month of Ramadan. "This job is so unpredictable. Every second of it, you might be addressing one thing, and something else may come up," said Corporal Farhat.

No is not. If a person feels dehydrated, they are allowed to drink water and eat food. It's not a prison term.

@@ranger51262 It might sound hard for someone who has never done any fasting in their lifetime, but these people have been practicing fasting since they were young.

@@ranger51262So do I, but when you fast your body has to adapt so your metabolism slows down.
Usually (especially if it's hot) it's the thirst that kicks in first.

There’s separation of church and state in our country. We shouldn’t be paying for religious practices that risk public safety. We shouldn’t pay for halal school lunches. We shouldn’t pay for the forever welfare and housing the majority of them sign up for.

@@umhud sharia law isn't the law for America so his enforcing is for the Jews,Christians and non believers that control the government and this is by default. Additionally, case law proves hypocrisy is well present which should be observed and acted upon federally, and no government official should be given any sovereignty rights when committing a crime but it's taking place. That's oppression in disguise. Inshaallah a few Talibs including myself are Willed to address this issue.
