While I've seen some online comments portraying American tourists in a negative light, my personal experience as a Moroccan has been very different. The American visitors I've met have been respectful and attentive listeners. When we treat each other with mutual respect, a positive connection is built. I've also found them to be energetic and enthusiastic, which makes them welcome guests in Morocco.
I don't know if you guys are still here in Morocco or you've already gone, but if you're still here wait 'till you see the african cop matches where Morocco is playing, so you know how much Moroccan people love their team .. Try sitting in a coffee shop during the game !!
I'm talking about the one that's happening right now, Morocco is playing 2 days from now and every Moroccan is patiently waiting for it !!

They are indeed, but Moroccan people love football so much that schools call for a day off, jobs stop, basically life stops during the two hours and people head to coffee shops to watch our national team .. Football is really big in Morocco !!

It’s simply life shaping to experience the uniqueness of varying cultures and people. It reminds me of how enriched I felt from the loving nature and friendliness of Marrakesh and Moroccan people. Oh Morocco !! You’re simply the best, better than all the rest. I grew up in this city in the old Medina of Marrakech. I moved to the USA, studied, worked and about to retire and I for sure will go back and retire from work and move back to my birthplace, Marrakech. It’s strange, I left Marrakech but it never left me.

What a great opportunity to travel with your parents!! My wife and I spent at least 12 seasons (June, plus a week before and aster) as staff members on an archaeological dig in Israel and we tried so hard to get my parents (and other members of our family) to join us for a time to show them a little bit of Palestine, but it never happened 😥 ... you all looked like you had such a great time!!

The way of making coffee im not sure if the arab or Turkish by origin, but the spices used are moroccan.
In the gulf you can find someone putting a spice but they don't do a mixture like we like to do 😅

You mentioned liver in your blog and reminded me that I will make it tomorrow. I don't buy liver, I buy chicken liver. It's done very quickly. Coat the pieces of liver in flour and fry them in a pan with fat, and fry the chopped onion in another pan. At the end of frying the liver, add this onion to the liver and fry it together. It is important to add salt after frying everything, because if you do it before frying, the liver will be hard. Enjoy your meal

It is always the right time to go to Morocco
It depends on the region where you will be and the activities you want to do.. In January it is mostly cold in most of the regions.. So you won't be able to enjoy the beaches or pools..
