My wife and I had a 24 hour stopover in Casablanca. We were on our way from Brussels to do some volunteer work in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. The cheapest flight had a 24 hour stopover in Casablanca on New Years Eve/Day. Heck ya, we'll take that!
Don't feel bad about eating a burger. The place we found with the best view of the Corniche was McDonalds. It was packed with locals.😅

The port may contain military weapons and frigates. Perhaps this is the reason why you were prevented from photographing, even though you were only in the coastal fishing area, but the port is large and has several sections, some of which are sensitive.

Ha, as a matter a fact, I had Moroccan beer called Casablance, and I loved it. It is quite a gentle beer, feminine. Problaly that's why i liked it.
it's called Casablanca* just like the name of the city ,I suggest u to try another local beer next time called Spéciale ,it's the popular one in Morocco
