iPhone With Removable Battery CONFIRMED | EU Battery Law

- The EU has passed a battery legislation that would require manufactures such as a smartphone manufacturers to allow batteries to be easily replaceable by users.
0:49 waterproof wireless charging phones with removable backs have existed for a long time, most notably the Galaxy S5 (the wireless charging was a replacement back accessory cause nobody used it in 2014).
I think the smartphone companies should have copied the design of the LG G5 with the cartridge-like battery. The whole thing about slicker design on the non-replacable battery phones is ridiculous as most put them in a case which means you don't see the slick design. As for waterproofing if you seal the phones to much then there is going to be an overheating and fire problem. The internal components and the battery need air as a coolant. There is no such thing as a waterproof phone. Water resistant but not water proof.
Yep LG's modular design was great and i think repair ability and modularity comes way above looks and waterproofing.
I don't care lugging around a humongous brick phone, "light and thin" be damned. Bring back removable batteries!
It's not that hard. It's lazy engineering.
Apple and Samsung have definitely been dragging their feet with phone designs but I doubt adding user replaceable batteries to foldables like the z flip would be easy. But then again I am no engineer.
It's all about money 😈
Good content. Keep it up 👍👍
Thank you very much , glad you enjoyed the video. Any advice on how i could improve the content ?
Well, they have to work hard to not drop water-resistance, I don't care. Removable batteries are awsome and I can't wait for it.
What if eu said to apple bring imeesage to android 😂
i think something like that is in the works but i dont think its necessary there are plenty of highly popular alternatives like whatsapp.
iMessage isn’t even popular outside if the US. And Android has no right to that service anyways. If the EU decides to start stealing ideas/tech and forcing companies to share it, they’d eventually pull out of that market.
