    Nice video Lisa.
I'll add a few more things:
    1. There is a new airport being built in Greater Western Sydney at a place called Badgery's Creek and will open around 2026. The existing Kingsford Smith Airport has no room to expand.
    2. Train lines: Sydney is currently building the Sydney Metro and Metro West. The Sydney Metro is partially opened and will be fully open within next 12-18 months. This lines runs from Tallawong in the northwest to Chatswood, thru Crows Nest into the CBD then back out into the south west finishing up at Bankstown. The Sydney Metro West which is at the beginning of construction is a second line running from the CBD to Parramatta; will have stations at Pyrmont, The Bays, Five Dock, Burwood North, Strathfield North, Olympic Park, Parramatta finishing up at Westmead.
    3. About 80-90% of Sydney's motorway network is tolled. About half of the city's motorways were built within the last 20 years by the private sector. The infrastructure is great but it has to be paid for.
    4. Roads A3, A6, A9 act as western ring roads of Sydney. These are not tolled but they are not motorways. These are arterial roads but have interchanges in some places. The M7 is the motorway western ring road but this is tolled.

You've covered quite a bit of coastal Sydney, but missed out the large residential areas to the west and south west, where many people live. Accommodation there would be a lot cheaper than the areas shown. If you live close to a station, travel to the city etc may well be much faster than places that look close on the map, but are dependent on buses.

Couldn't agree more. Western Sydney has a higher population than the rest of Sydney, has cheaper house prices, more jobs in the area, more than adequate transport in most areas, and access to World Heritage wilderness. Many western suburbs are great places to live, without paying a vast premium to smell salt air.
Sadly many Sydneysiders will disagree because they still live with 1950's worldviews, only know the harbour side of the city and think Parramatta is "way out in the west' when it is actually very close to its population centre.
And just for the record, I've lived in places like Rose Bay, Manly and Surry Hills, and prefer the west. It's just more authentic.

Great video as usual 😊. But you did gloss over the pros of living in Sutherland shire surrounded by the beautiful Royal National Park and the southern beaches. Including the brilliant Cronulla beach which is less than an hours train ride from the Sydney CBD. I live in a perfect leafy green peninsula next to the pristine Port Hacking river and Royal National Park and less than a 40 minute train ride to the CBD. It's obvious you don't do much house sitting down here. By the way the Shire including the beach culture is much more casual and laid back compared to the northside.

Thank you. I’ve only visited the Sutherland Shire a few times so I’m not that familiar with it, but Cronulla is very beautiful.

Fantastic video of what suburbs in Sydney offer. I know Sydney very well, having lived in most general areas at some point in a fairly long life. I learned some recent changes in your video like Marickville becoming trendy. When I was last there, 25 odd years ago, it was a pretty standard inner west Sydney suburb that was clearly not in the trendy, hipster suburbs. Perhaps a bit like Cantebury now.
High endorsement from me! Thank you.

Great insight into the Sydney metro area. I live in a great suburb Killarney Heights. 7km from Dee Why. 4 km to Chatswood train station and 30 min bus trip to City. Residential housing throughout and very pleasant lifestyle.
