Hi yea, 15kg will earn some extra rands. But if the cow loses a calf or cannot breed back quick enough then the profitability of the operation is down the toilet. Medium sized cattle are the way to go. Put a sussex bull on a nguni or on any heritage breed

U should watch the laster beefmaster sale. They come in all colors. Where my brother worked at the had beef master bulls name come and get it and friendly he was not a friendly bull. I seen a straight beef master cow lick on every protein block and the other cows and bulls would wait there turn to lick it

I can believe that! They are a relatively new breed in our country so I haven't seen many myself - but they are growing in popularity!
