Nice to see this character getting some attention. I have him on a team that's still a work in progress, but he's a fun sorta... sub DPS, I guess? His role's a little unclear. It's a Shatter-Bloom team (got the idea from Soluna). I call it "Colleminet Shatterbloom". The team name's starting part comes from Collei and Freminet's names (cause I ship them). Their teammates are Xingqiu and Mona for the needed Hydro stuff. Team is very much a work in progress, but it's fun.
if you give fremi a 4 piece hunter set and use him with furina, kuki, and mika he does some crazy numbers because of the crit rate bonus then you can give him a crit damage weapon and circlet
Tsaritsa [aka Cocolia/Signora copium] will enabled freeze aura on bosses to enable shattering. That will be the final big meta change before Celestia, bet.
You basically have everything for dps Ningguang (but dunno your catalyst weapons) Xilonen, furina and yelan is her best team i believe. Its pretty neat ive heard (i dont have xilonen)
I smack 52k in the overworld my physical Freminet build, he's at C0 with an R5 Tidal Shadow. I think the most I've managed to smack with him was about 74k with abyss buffs using his physical build. I didn't really choose physical Freminet, its more like he chose me when I strong boxed his artifacts. all in all my Freminet reaches about 2400 atk and has 73 crit rate and 152 crit damage. I think he's my best built character on my wishless account. In the future, when I finally decide to wish myself maybe I'll get a C6 Freminet and a Wolfs Gravestone because I think thats probably the only feasible improvements I can make to my Freminet. The team im Currently running with him is Lisa for Super conduct and RES shred, Layla because I don't have any physical damage buffer and make use of a shield instead. Barbara for healing, freezing, and activating tidal shadows attack buff and obviously Freminet himself.
frozen should still apply to bosses as a status effect so you can trigger shatter even if the freeze effect doesn't do anything to them aside from tint them slightly blue.
For a Furina team you could potentially switch Rosaria for Charlotte for Cryo resonance. cryo resonance already gives something like 15% crit rate bonus against frozen or cryo-afflicted enemies and Freminet's C1 already gives a flat 15% crit rate bonus on his skill (which is the biggest source of his dmg) so you already have kind of 30% crit rate at all times, Rosaria's crit rate buff might feel like overkill! You could just switch the electro unit to Fischl or Raiden or even keep Kuki. I'm a Freminet main who doesn't have him C6 unfortunately (nor Mika at all) but I do have Beacon and 4pc Pale flame (his BIS set) and he's actually doing good damage. If you even manage to easily frontload Furina's Fanfare stacks (which is totally doable with especially a C1 Charlotte) you could even get away with giving Freminet an Atk goblet instead to at least keep his cryo dmg slightly more competitive during his burst state while not losing out on physical dmg, especially since 4pc pale flame already gives him 18% atk boost and 50% physical dmg bonus. Though, I personally have a really good physical dmg bonus goblet that's onset, so I haven't tried THAT part myself
Thank you for letting me know I didn’t think about Charlotte. I will eventually have all of my 4 stars built but right now I don’t have Charlotte or Mika built 😭. Once I have them built and I have better artifacts I will bring back Freminet.

He was new to it and joined around the time Frem had his event where you got him for free. Well what do you know, who did he fall in love with? Frem. He wanted to do EVERYTHING for this diver boy. EVERYTHING. He wouldn't stop til I gave in and said, yo fine, whatever, I'll look up sum teams for ya. At the time I gave him the superconduct team with Kuki Shinbou, Xingqiu, and Nahida. He fell in love with this team, except he didn't have Xingqiu and swapped out for his first ever 5* which was Mona. After some time I convinced him into getting Furina for it, and now he uses Dendro Traveler to save Nahida for another team. What do you know, now he has Citlali and plans to do shatter. Lol. His Frem uses's Eula weapon, Song of Broken Pines, and oh. my god. His Frem isn't even C6 yet and he can hit 40k with Pers..sometimes 52k. Just goes to show this shy diver boy can pack a punch if you really put some effort and time into him.. 😭 I have a C6 Frem and sometimes he motivates me with that physical damage to build mine...

So I have a 2nd account that i've had for years where I own every 4 star and plans to build them all. And i've been really enjoying this series!! Because I think people sleep on a lot of the 4 stars. Some of them at c6 are REALLy good - like Thoma, Heizou, Kaeya...i'm building the collection
They should buff geo with "Harden" so when crystalize happens it gives physical damage bonus based on weapon types. This solves the problem with geo cancelling elemental reactions by essentially introducing a new 'cancel' reaction and giving a dead end reaction new meaning 👍🏼
or help geo by having crystalize NOT remove the element it reacts with allowing for this buff to stack with superconduct or shatter teams. Idk I'm just spit balling 🤷🏼♂️

I dont know if it can be a replacement but Snow-Tombed Starsilver, the craftable claymore from Dragonspine could be an interesting addition. not only does it give physical shred but the special ability of the weapon synergizes to enemies affected by Cryo.
My Freminet team is wonky- but he does he some good numbers, I built the whole family. Lynette is currently the one who does the least dmg. My Freminet team Freminet Xingqui Yae Miko Citlali (bc natlan enemies you need a natlan character for)
can you try Xinyan physical main dps? I personally, adore her gameplay and her dmg is good to me. She does normal attacks 9k-34k dmg, plunge 50k and burst 60k-180k. She has dehyas signature weapon and 2pc-2pc physical bonus damage, crit ratio is 68/218 and her atk is 1,900. Her higest crit is 350k dmg with burst, im still trying to get better supports. I would like to try her pyro plunge team with Xianyun. I tried support Xinyan with petra set in team Mualani, Xilonen and Kazuha and i was surprised! Her shield and application isn’t bad, it’s okay to me. I wonder how strong your Xinyan would be? Btw i love your content. 🗣️🔥❤️🎸
Yea DPS Barbara is definitely on my list. I’m actually not sure which order I’m going to build characters in. I’m getting Shenhe soon so I’m going to want to build her for Chongyun.

My fav shatter freminet team is with kaeya, nilou and xianyun. Just freezing enemies and plunging to shatter so so fun.
How does nilou works in this team ehh?
@ her water ring from her skill applies fast hydro. In AOE situations it’s very easy to get frozen enemies with that + kaeya burst.

The issue is that their buffs are either too negligible compared to an attack buffer for them or its locked behind constellations

i love both physical and cryo(melt, mono cryo or shatter), but the skill spam you do with cryo version is my favorite by just a little bit.
