I’ve been seeing Dr Jesús since 2008, the last treatment I had from him was a full zirconia implant in October and I’m seeing him again in June for a special mouth guard for a TMJ-related neurological thing I have. One of my employers in Canada does pay for some dental in my medical coverage, but I only get cleanings done, preferring to be in Mexico for anything else. My Canadian dentist has to admit he does great work! I consider them friends by now, they are such lovable peeps - and speak fluent English if people are worried about their Spanish. Can’t recommend them enough! 🤔🤗🥰🦷

If you are in Mexico City Benito Juárez. Dr. Alejandra Cardenas Reyes . AlCAR clínica. She is the best and they have a group of specialist they do it all. She Specalist in implants she is the best . Speaks pretty good English also east to talk to and very easy on the eyes
So proud of you for getting braces man! Never stop improving. Just realize that you have to sleep with your retainer/Invisalign for the rest of your life. I got braces as an adult. I wore my retainer for 5 years. A year after I stopped wearing the retainer, my teeth moved back to their original crooked position. Womp womp!

Your 1 year went by so fast. I watched your video when you first had them installed. I’m an older person lol and I want braces and will eventually get some. Would love to have them done there however I can’t stay long enough for the maintenance. I am in desperate need of tooth repair!!! Omg!! My porcelain crown popped off yesterday 😩. Estimates to replace runs well into thousands to replace one tooth. Im going to get one more consultation and estimate. I know it will still run into 3-5k to replace. So, I’m considering coming there to your dentist and making it out of a vacation. I’ve always wanted to visit Merida but I’m a bit nervous. Thoughts???

People definitely come for work like that all the time - not sure how long it takes, but Pepe would be able to let you know and if it makes sense for your life/budget, then we’d obviously say go for it! Does your dentist clean your teeth like they do in the states. I have noticed they don’t floss your teeth and remove the plaque like I’m use to in the states. I’m wondering is this the norm . In the states I can tell my teeth have been cleaned
David, what made you choose braces over Invisalign? Every dentist I've ever been to pushes Invisalign on me (I guess they don't like my teeth! LOL). I am assuming it's because it's high profit but they tell me it's better in the long run for me to have straight teeth. I'm not sure I believe that but I can't figure out how to research it. I'm older and don't mind wearing braces if I can get the same effect for a lot less money. I also don't mind my crooked teeth. I don't think they are that bad but it would be nice if they looked better.
Dr. Pepe did offer Invisalign as well, but said it would take much longer (and was also a bit more expensive if I remember correctly) - so figured I'd rather have braces for a little bit and get it right than spend a bunch of time with Invisaligns.
