Garnt does not know that Mushoku Tensei is just gonna get better and better. And the school never really goes away.
IT ends 😭
The classic "it's gonna get better bro, trust me" Sentence
@@ilno I think its good since the beginning, but this last arc feels more like an intermission, a brief period of rest before they change the story completely
@@ilno It is though, I've read the entire Light Novel and it's literally one of the best forms of fiction out there since it's a full package of a series. Mushoku Tensei is the Mc's autobiography from his birth to his death
@@animeedits3984uh... Don't you mean his death to his death?
This was my reaction when I saw that he (the biggest anituber) didn't watch the kaguya movie and the first slam dunk.
Shocking that 99% percent of anitubers didn't even talk about the first slam dunk when it's directed by THE takehiko inoue, and that it's one of highest selling series of all time
I watched the first half of the Kaguya movie but instantly lost interest in it and never finished the 2nd half..
@@NineDiamont well that's by far the most well written arc of the story. To me it is with this arc that I fully understood that this manga was on another level.
However from what I see, there is a lot of ppl, mainly anime watchers, who don't really appreciate it fully. I think this is because the anime emphasize the comedy a lot, and ppl don't really get that this story and these characters are way deeper than it seems. So when the movie comes, with a darker and more serious tone, it can feel a bit weird.
Haven't watched any of these, but wasn't Garnt in "Mashle"?
yes he did for a side character with like two lines
I don't think Demon Slayer season 3 deserve any win this year. 2023 anime are so good, eye-candy mid story like DS cannot compete
honestly KnY doesnt even deserve to be in AoTY nominee list,
"Heavenly Delusion" or
"Summertime render"
should've been there instead.
Summertime Render was from 2022, tho.
@@CrimsonCharan so was Chainsawman
@@mabo501 and ignored Bleach 💀
Demon Slayer is a solid show but it's nothing out the ordinary story and plot wise. If it wasn't for the high quality production and animation at least..
Summer time rendering is a heavily underrated show!
Still have to see Heavenly Delusions but only heard the best about it.
@@NineDiamont heavenly delusion is a goated show. Just finished it.
Every scene in this show is animation masterpiece.
Opening song is a masterpiece.
And don't even ask about the story. The story will force you to wrack your brains out to solve the mystery.
1:50 That’s Overlord for me😂
Made in the Abyss should win that category.
So does Fall not get to count in the Anime awards?
Yeah. Fall 2022 was eligible. Fall 2023 will be eligible next year
@@whyoowhy odd, I wonder why they do it that way.
@@Berstich to avoid recency bias
@@BerstichTo add to what the other person said, it's also so that fall anime that are 2-cour get their second half involved as well. For example, Frieren, Undead Unluck and The Apothecary Diaries would only be nominated based on their first 12 episodes of 2023 rather than their entire 2-cour season, which could be considered "unfair".
Well,well,well,
Who won in this?
Back here after the awards and once again we can't escape the Demon Slayer curse even in it's worse season yet.
Beat mushoku tensei again in the fantasy
We all know CR Awards are trash
Bokuyaba gets left off best romance
Hell's Paradise gets nominated when basically nothing actually happens
Demon Slayer on its way to become the next king of mid after MHA
Mashle is great but belongs in Comedy
"King of mid" you know Isekai exist right?
mashle was in comedy
@@tristanmilner9511 isekai at least usually has some weird ass twist to it to make it different
shounen power creep is eternal
@@tristanmilner9511it's fact bruv stop lying to yourself
Demon Slayer is usually pretty good in terms of it's sheer quality, but man, it just didn't deliver this year. The animation was kinda fine, but the writing and pacing in this season was actually terrible.
Why the hate on popular shows? A lot of people just want to look cool by searching a show that 3 people watch and then hype the shit out of it so they can look like a cool person who watches unique shows
I mean Season 3 was kinda mid compare to season 2 tho you gotta admit and compare to its competition last year, its definitely not the best when it comes to "Best Fantasy".
It's not because it's popular there is no hate here but hate because for which category it's nominated for. There are better fantasy shows this year if it was nominated for best action you can argue but for best fantasy nah man.
The only thing that's fantastical about Demon Slayer are the demons. The world itself is pretty much just Japan. It's not hate. Other shows, like Jobless, have a much better fantasy setting.
True…
Others said it, but I just wanna say again- the best fantasy should have a good world. I love Demon Slayer and totally disagree with the people who say it’s overrated- but calling it a fantasy anime feels like a technicality.
At least it is better than the trash harem 1000 waifus isekais he watches
I honestly cant agree with Hells Paradise. After how terrible s-1 handled the manga it doesnt really deserve an award
DEMON. SLAYER. IS. NOT. FANTASY.
It is, just not the best when it comes to that aspect.
@@dungeonmaster0656 demon slayer is soft fantasy, so I don't think it should get the full best fantasy treatment
@@dungeonmaster0656the setting is actually a historical setting so it's more historical fiction action if anything. The only fantasy aspect of it is the power system and enemies. It definitely does not deserve to be in this category.
@@Praestantia Yeah ik its idiotic how this won best fantasy when it's sitting next to Mushoku tensei, a Fantasy where there's civilization with their own languages and human animals hybrid meanwhile DS just has people with schizophrenia power and vampire demon.
Demon Slayer is my favorite show/manga, and I think season three might be the best season yet. However, I don’t think it deserves best fantasy award because I don’t think it counts as fantasy
"Fantasy - the faculty or activity of imagining things, especially things that are impossible or improbable." - Dictionary... So Demon Slayer counts as a fantasy as white genie with 2 mouths in a pot doesn't exist?
But I think it's nice to see people saying it's their favorite show or one of their favorites. Nowadays, people just trash & hate on Demon Slayer just because it's simple & that the animation is better than 90% of anime...
It's personally my 2nd favorite manga/anime series, it's a tie with Jujutsu Kaisan but both KNY & JJK are below my Number 1 which is Death Note...
You did not just say that season 3 of ds is the best, when so far it is the worst season yet. Season 2 was peak, season was good and season 3 was shit and so fuckin under whelming
@AMercenary...Withaheart we do not hate on it because of its predictable plot, we hate on it because you demon slayer fans always go like "this is the best anime ever" even though you've only watched less than 10 animes in your whole life. We hate on it because how much you guys hype demon slayer so much, yes season 2 might be peak but other than that it's completely shit season 3 is shit, hashira training was shit and the ending arc was just a bit better than season 1. Demon slayer fans completely destroyed the anime for me. I was so fuckin hype for season 3 because they say its better than season 2 but season 3 was much more shit than season 1. Stop acting like its the best anime/manga ever. Try reading Pluto, monster ,and trigon this are old shows/manga that is still better than most anime/manga today. Jjk is far better than death note after all. Death not should have ended when L died. After L died it became shit, and also don't fuckin say that demon slayer and jjk are on the same lvl because jjk is in 10 lvl ahead of demon slayers basic ass pull story.
@@Arandomeditor2009
"you demon slayer fans always go like "this is the best anime"" as a fan myself, I did not say Demon Slayer is the best manga/anime. Also, "opinion" exists, you do know that right? I did not say "this is the best anime ever", but even if people say that, opinions exist.
"We hate on it because how much you guys hype demon slayer so much" It's fine for fans to be hyped knowing that one of their favorite shows are returning. "oh yeah... my favorite show is returning... woohoo 😐😑" - what you expect DS fans to act when their favorite show is returning... Wait so, fans hyping the anime, destroyed the anime for you? Well that's shocking, it sounds like a "you" problem. I'm fine with fans hyping Season 3 even if it's worse than the Movie & Season 2, because I do know OPINIONS exist.
"Try reading Pluto, Monster & Trigun", I haven't read Trigun, but I did watch Pluto and read + watch Monster. Pluto was good, but in my opinion, Johan (the reason why most people like Monster) felt like one of those sigma edits mysterious people, I don't really like him. Similar to your reasoning, I don't like Monster because of the fans. Death Note is the better psychological thriller than Monster, at least in my opinion. "Jjk is far better than death note", that is YOUR opinion, and I respect it.
"Death Note should've ended with L's death", part of me agrees, but part of me disagrees. L's death should've ended the show because we don't want to see the series' downfall, whereas if L's death ended the series, it doesn't make sense anymore. The story revolves around Light Yagami, not L. The story should end if either Light accomplished his goal or that he died, he is the main protagonist overall. "jjk is in 10 lvl ahead of demon slayer", again, opinions do exist. Jujutsu Kaisen is sometimes bad at developing some of the characters, they introduce them, then kills them off (Higuruma, Junpei, Nanami, ect.).
Really, the main counterclaim of your argument is just the fact opinions exist. It's like you're forcing people that your opinions are facts, when it is not. I have my different views in stories, I have a different taste in stories, and so do you. So don't force people to believe that your opinions are facts, when they're not.
@@AMercenary...Withaheart you might not but some do, again I said that "do not hype it up" because when season 3 was announced most of demon slayer fans literally said that on quote "its gonna be better than season 2 by miles" yet it completely wasted upper rank 4 and 5 another thing that u pointed out is that "jjk sometimes has "worse" development than demon slayer" then what do you think about the uppermoons? They are never developed until they're dead, the 5th uppermoon didn't even had a chance to explain his motivations. Same with tanjiros family, we literally did not have any memorable thing about his family (except nezuko) so I really didn't care even if they died 10 times infront of tanjiros face because we didn't even had a chance to connect with them. I got out of topic here but basically im just comparing writing here so if you dont want to read it then dont since its out of topic
- (Frieren on the other hand made most feel nostalgic and pain when himmel died because of actual connections even though viewers didn't know what his character or personality was back then, we still feeled a strong hue of emotion because the author develop than character in a way of nostalgia even though we've only known him for 2 minutes, on the
Other hand, after the death of tanjiros family, the author didn't even bothered to atleast reminist on his family.)-
As I've said again, do not hype it up to the point that, others might get disappointed after released.
Death note should have ended on Ls death because, there no more threat for light/kira other than ryuk, the show basically fell off after that, it didn't feel the same anymore, it was like an important character died (which it did) that made the show un watchable.
I'd rather watch a show end on its peak rather than it falling off because of bad writing.
