I finally see why I didn't like the way my base looks when I have done this. I see you actually knotted the braid and lock at the base before pulling the braid into to lock. Brilliant!!!!!! Thank you so much for doing this slowly enough for me to find my mistake. I am subscribing RETT NOW!!!!!!
It'll work for me too. I'm glad I kept searching. Everyone else until you were more complex and more time and work. THANK YOU THANK YOU. My son is going to be Happy

You can go to the thorn section and find a latch hook very long with a loop on the bottom. It’s meant for turning fabric. Inside out is silver and it’s just like it have a let’s hook on the end
How long did it take you to do? And how do you take them down? Do you have a video for that? Thanks for an inspiring video! I hope I can do this myself 😅
This was super helpful. My daughter fallowed your tutorial and did a great job, however can you help me find out why the braid keeps popping out in the middle of the loc?

Hi Merry, you always do an amazing job on clients hair all the time. I always enjoy watching your videos, the hairstyle your doing for your client I did something similar with the Marley hair a couple of years ago, I loved the hairstyle but it took so long to do it. So now I normally prefer cornrows(either going straight back or in a ponytail style) I'm thinking about doing the Pop Smoke braids very soon 😃😃😃😃 Once again I enjoy watching you do amazing and phenomenal work 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
I love the tutorial.. My natural hair is at my mid back so this would be perfect for a protective style for me. I’m going to get my sister to do my hair like this! My question is how would you take them out?
Giiiirl. This was so satisfying to watch! You do excellent work and seem to have gentle hands 😌😌😌😌😌. These look gorgeous from the sectioning to the finished look. I want some now!
This looks like it takes forever, I used bobbi boss a couple of years ago and it was snagging & getting old with in days, I gave up & moved on to spring twist, but this is very pretty!1❤
This is beautiful. However, when I do it, I constantly snag the hair with the latch when pulling hair back into crochet hair, smh. You do this so effortlessly, lol
There is a sewing tool called a “loop turner “ if you search it you’ll see what is essentially an extra long latch hook without an handle. It might enable you to do one pass!
omg thank you so much! I had my crochet faux locs installed this way and was wondering how exactly I would do them myself! Very helpful & informative !!
I like this style but I’m afraid that my hair will be sticking out after a while especially me being natural 4c as well as me washing my hair every two weeks and moisture my hair like every 2-3 days
You have no idea how much you are blessing others. You are teaching people to fish. Thank you for your work

That is beautiful. But can you do a tutorial on how to take them out? I cut off a lot of my own hair trying to remove it.
This was way easier to follow than most videos I’ve watched especially for someone who never tried it before thank you !!
Svp
Yes INDEED. This is it for me!!!
Thankyou you are blessed, your tutorial is so much detailed, you dont rush ,you are my gd Teacher.
It'll work for me too. I'm glad I kept searching. Everyone else until you were more complex and more time and work. THANK YOU THANK YOU. My son is going to be Happy
Beautiful job as always! Loving the faux locs style and the ombre color of the hair. 👍💯♥👑🤗
I'm going to try this style for me and my husband's cruise. You make it look easy. Thank you 😊
How did it turn out?
This is the best explaination I've ever seen on how to crochet individual locs! You're a God send
I love your clear and concise tutorials!
this changed my braiding game for me. Thank you so much girl!!!
Can you create a balance by doing a video where you take this hair out also? I don’t know why I feel it would be difficult to take it out. Thanks
I was thinking the same, how do one take it out?.

Hey gurrrrrrrllll😍😍😍Best tutorial ever for this technique♥️Thaaaank you truly! Installing these on my sister this weekend🙏🏽
That's amazing and precise. But please, how do you unbraid it?
I wonder if a kids hair header could work as a “long crochet hook”. I just ordered some Locs off line & can’t wait to try this !
I think our on to something!!!
This was super helpful. My daughter fallowed your tutorial and did a great job, however can you help me find out why the braid keeps popping out in the middle of the loc?
The easiest method I’ve ever seen! ❤️
Thanks so much for this because I was struggling with the wrapping method.
I will try this tomorrow on my daughter's hair. Thank you!
I use a bead feeder/micro link loop..
Latch hook makes makes my scalp tender..
Can you tell me what kind of faux locs you used? They look so natural!
I love this. How long did it take, and how do you take it out ?

Literally correct been trying to get the braid in the hair annoying asf
I thought I was the only one. I am pulling my hair. I don't know what she did, but it's not as simple as she did.
@Yolanda Taylor if it’s doing that then hook it like from the middle of your braid it should slide through way smoother

There is a sewing tool called a “loop turner “ if you search it you’ll see what is essentially an extra long latch hook without an handle. It might enable you to do one pass!

Try using the Bobbi boss brand. It’s more textured and natural girl friendly!
I understand completely. I use a needle and thread to sew my locs into place so they don't stick out. Another alternative is nail glue
Very easy and beautiful.what is the name of the weavon
