Such an important lecture too. Anyway, the Dr. is on it. I been telling people about the Huxley brothers, Saulk, H.G. Wells and others for years. People say I’m a conspiracy theorist when all they got to do is a little reading and see it’s no theory at all. They are and have been pushing these ideas. We all need to know more about this stuff. God bless Dr. Masson.

What a disappointment the audio cut out! I hope it's corrected soon. I will come back to the vital and fascinating lecture. Mahalo from Hawai'i.

fabulous content. one issue related to christian doctrine ive noticed is that reformed or covenant theology makes the claim that the physical seed of Israel is essentially irrelevant, superceded by spiritual Israel aka the church. the premillenial / dispensational view accepts the promises of God to the jew as literal, to be fulfilled in the future via a remnant of physical Israel. Transhumanism seems to present a much more sinister threat in the premill view as genetic engineering of humans would make God a liar regarding preservation of physical Israel seed. In covTheo view it doesnt seem to be as much of a problem as the physical seed has much less importance. Does that make sense? Am processing all this as we all are...

      These are interesting reflections.
I hadn’t really thought of this from the vantage of different views of what Scripture teaches on the nature of the ‘seed’, i.e. whether physical or spiritual.
But I can follow you that it might make transhumanism seem more of an imperative (and/or a threat) depending on one’s view.
Of course, many transhumanists are atheist humanists (like Julian Huxley) so I think it’s more complicated than you are even suggesting. And from their perspective, it is materialist tending towards ‘spiritual’ in the limited sense of pursuing immortal life.

    Dr Masson
Thanks for your work - even though I differ with you on many points, I find that you offer some valuable perspectives which are often hard to find elsewhere.
I’ve paused, however, at your discussion of Covid, and your invocation of the Nazis.
    What’s happening here?
Even if you disagree with Covid measures, Nazi comparisons here surely confuse things at a deep level.
The Nazi ambition for power was directed at dominating and killing people, whereas Covid measures were intended to save lives.
(Some would argue that this intention was misconceived - a view I do not share, but that is beside the point here).
    The distinction is basic,
and I think if there was greater clarity here, it would improve your case -
Why allow this kind of confusion to stand?

      I understand your point.
But if the COVID measures were intended to save lives, why did they harm them? You might say they saved them, but how can you know? What would have happened if citizens had taken their own preventative measures?
      I see enormous ongoing harm…
This is not the place for a lengthy discussion but I never bought the propaganda and found the measures totalitarian.

Agree that it’s not useful to go into “litigating” Covid measures in this forum.
We’re communicating across a gulf in perception on this one:
I guess we accept restrictions on freedoms for the common good in the form of speed limits, traffic lights and controls on pollution
[this point may or may not speak to your particular concerns about Covid]-
In any case, even if restrictions had negative effects, as I am sure they did in terms of isolation etc, totalitarianism seems [to me] to belong to a very different order of things.

Dr Scott as per usual you define all that i know or see in the world lol
This new paradigm of tech really fuels transhumanism in a way that i don't think anyone is ready for as an avalanche of r&d is building up because no one is properly incorporating it in their feilds.
All this bad input and perimeters will end up forced in unless everyone selflessly guides it to basically take away their jobs the right way .
And even this may not matter in the end.

1 area that I think we can help ourselves was witnessed by the
Covid deal and blm driving the urbanites into nihilism to eradicate police rather than a common sense solution showed me
Personally, the police chief must be brought under the constitution free from mayor authority elected by the people for the people now.
The inability to unify sherrifs with police under the power of the people to push back on governers so they form coalitions and push back on feds is a big deal now that tech has 4 ever granted liberal power to spy on us domestic and abroad.
