as a psychology student, trauma can lead to the development of paraphilias= the healthy venting of that paraphilia in a fictional space=yes, that can count as trauma art.

Deina Jud Legally it was discussed, because she called the art “child p*rn”. And showing it is a form of distribution. That’s illegal. She also disregarded *ALL* Trauma art as bad and terrible when she doesn’t understand what it can do.

trauma art isn’t supposed to be... public... i’m almost certain that whatever “therapy” they’re doing to cope, their therapist wouldn’t recommend posting the art online.
I mean, there are platforms made just to share vents and vent art, but I don't think any trauma survivor would feel comfortable putting art that graphic or sexual out in public
I completely agree that Aggy’s art is more of fetish art than “trauma art”. But please understand that trauma art is still *valid* and *important* .I do it myself to break my memory barrier and heal myself from the wound of the trauma I suffered. Aggy’s art is bad, trauma art isn’t.
Totally agree! I think what struck me most and made me feel icky about her “trauma art” was that she was selling it. And I mean- to an extent I think this could be okay with some trauma, for example art that was made from negative feelings like depression. But the problem is her art is literally of children, it’s essentially porn whether it was made from trauma or not. I have an eating disorder, I make cope art, a lot of time this art depicts very skinny or even skeleton looking girls. I would never sell this art though because I wouldn’t want it to become fetishized or normal in someone else’s hands. I feel that people don’t understand the impact that art has, just because it’s fictional doesn’t mean it can’t affect the real world and I don’t think people take responsibility for that a lot of the time.
Caily I personally don’t ever show my trauma art. That is, unless, my therapist asks me to do so. My art is tied to a video game character I love dearly that suffered a similar abuse, that why I have a connection. I drew some fucked up shit, but I acknowledge what happened to me was bad, and DON’T show it. This is YOUR art, you don’t have to share it. I do agree, in some instances trauma art is sellable, like anxiety and depression. I find it so icky that she’s selling her trauma away, that’s basically blocking it out.
theres timws where her art is definitely trauma art, but then theres times where its definitely fetish art and its so jarring. because you go from raw emotion and the inner child of someone screaming to judt... porn. and i hate it bc aggie genuinely has good art when it comes to the ACTUAL trauma art. i remember she made one drawing for puppymilk that had her MC with a giant hole in his torso while a character was talking abt sex iirc, and with that it was obviously trauma art because it can definitely feel like that. just sad and sick, tbhm
While aging a character up is a good idea, it's also kind of weird territory. A lot of people just don't put in the effort, simply slapping the child characters head on an adult body. It's creepy to me. If you're going to age up a character, actually put forth the effort of making them look older!

(Please be sure to read the full thing. I have realized someone may mistake I am defending aggy, which is absolutely something I would never do.) Hello. I am a child sexual abuse survivor among many other things, and I too use trauma art to cope. While it is not encouraged to share trauma art out in the open surrounding that category, it is just as safe and healthy as any other trauma art. Yes, it indeed will often depict taboo and gruesome situations. Yes, it indeed will often depict disgusting and awful things. Trauma art is obviously not for everyone, but for many it does work. In terms of sharing said trauma art, while one can, it is discouraged to advertise it so out in the open. Especially regarding the current subject we are discussing. Hell, many that make trauma art don't want to share their trauma art so publicly because of how personal it is in the first place. While looking at aggys art, I have noticed a distinct fetishization and sexualization that differs from what trauma art usually displays. For me personally, when I create trauma art relating to being a survivor, it has a surreal, abstract, disgusting and distressing tone to it. Hell, sometimes, it might even have a hint of sexuality in it, but it's always shown in a distressed and slimy manner. It is never shown in a positive light. This is just how It is personally for me. Trauma art varies from person to person. However, for me, I just find aggys art to be more of fetish art than it to be an artistic depiction of trauma. It is very much possible to be her mind coping by fetishizing these situations, but I feel that just crosses the realm of healthy coping to unhealthy coping. (EDIT: I just want to make it clear that I am not trying to defend aggy. My intention is quite the opposite. I am wanting to speak on the subject as someone with experience who has done art therapy, which trauma art fits under, to help my therapist and I understand how I feel while relieving stress. What I am saying is that what aggy is creating feels much more distinct from trauma art, and calling it trauma art actually harms the legitimacy of actual trauma art in the process. That is not even mentioning that sharing trauma art so out in the open as she does is very discouraged. Many are uncomfortable with doing so in the first place, them being very personal. It is very much possible her mind is clinging to these fetishizations to cope, but that crosses into the realm of unhealthy coping and should not be encouraged.)
You summed up my thoughts on the topic well, I actually got into an arguement about it on twitter and it was really hard for me to put my feelings into words
I'm a CSA survivor and I draw, but I would never draw my abuse, especially in a fetishy/romanticised way. I know everybody is different, but I can't imagine how she could draw like that.
Me too (also a CSA survivor). Imho drawing it in a fetishy way is alright as long as it’s shown that it’s in a negative context, or that the focus is shown to be uncomfortable. When I was gr00med, I often felt fetishised by the abuser and yet I just played along with it to make him happy, if that makes sense
@@mexicancandytastegood2716 It means exactly what you know it means, but with Child in front. I won’t say the actual meaning as it makes me uncomfortable, but it’s Child. S.A basically.
I've actually heard of this artist before. she went by a different name before that one though. I don't remember it and she claimed that she was a child in that one but I was told by a friend who stays in the loop with those things the artist came out as stating she's an adult but she prefers to think of herself as a child because it makes her feel better about what happened to her. Which honestly, as someone with PTSD and Depression I can kinda get that but I don't think that they should because of fact that I do work with children that have mental disorders and it just seems disrespectful for someone to claim they feel safe as being a child than an adult when there are people out there that will age up physically, but never mentally. It just... That feels icky to me. Now my PTSD is related to my childhood abuse (Mental, physical and sexual) and I do find that as normalizing the whole child sexual abuse in eyes of the public which honestly, no that shouldn't be normalized. That is something that if a child said that "So and so did this" then adults should jump on the case at that moment and get the sexual offender arrested but with people normalizing the art they are also in a way normalizing the act too. I know this from experience (jumping back to my work) I have seen someone who I can't say much about the situation besides they were raped a lot and they were a child. When it was brought up to adults the phrase I heard and made me PHYSICALLY SICK was "What can we do about it?" Like honestly, who in their right mind is okay with that? When I argue they tell me that most of the children get that stuff from the internet from watching or reading stuff that they thought was about their favorite cartoon character but it is like Rule whatever number it is. (I totally forgot, yikes) And so they claim that happened to them because it happened to their favorite character that is close to their age. Or they WANT it to happen to them because it happened to one of the characters they looked up to. So, yes this is a problem. It is a MAJOR problem. It is also very heartbreaking and sad too. Children should be allowed to be children but in the world, they are growing up in it is normalizing things that shouldn't be normal. This shouldn't be a common topic of everyday life but it is.
personally, I’m not somebody who participates in age regression, but it is often done as a nonsexual coping mechanism (like, for people who feel like they were never able to have a childhood, and want to experience a childhood later in life). I don’t exactly fully get it, but I suppose it’s similar to how I use comfortcore and sometimes just really want to be taken care of, and I’m not somebody who judges people on how they cope. of course, the second that age regression is used to be predatory, it is no longer a harmless coping mechanism and should be called out. even if that person has trauma, abuse and predatory behavior is still harmful. oh, and I don’t actually know this person or how they actually feel, but kinks can often form from trauma and mental illness. it’s a way of turning your pain into pleasure and taking away it’s power over you. if somebody talks down to themself, they may enjoy being degraded, if they feel trapped, they might enjoy being tied up. some folks even turned the pain of labor into something pleasurable (not something I know much about, so look it up if you want more accurate information). for more extreme trauma-borne kinks, it can feel like a way of taking back control. rape kinks, when performed in a consensual and safe way (or through art and writing), can help people who have gone through that, because now they have control over a situation that they previously had no control over, they know that they can stop if they want to. but, like I said before, these kinks must be practiced safely and consensually, if people are being hurt, all that reasoning goes out the window, it is no longer harmless. I don’t really know what the point of all this stuff was, but I hope this information helped someone
@@justanotheranimationchanne5725 I don't mind that kind of thing. I have weird kinks too. I want them to know that isn't safe or healthy for their age until they are older. Which a lot of people arent prepair for that outcome. I was heavily abused as a child too. I am an artist now. Guess what I don't draw? Yep! CP! Being abused is not an excuse to draw porn with minors in them. Plain and simple.
It isn't cp, that's why nobody is really doing anything about it. Cp is very much illegal if it's a real child. Like if the child was/is alive today. You can't get in trouble for drawing FICTIONAL characters in that way, they have no feelings or emotions. They aren't real.
@@pikapika3198 well the thing is, that there are laws about it being CP, even if it's drawn, if the character is clearily identifiable as a child. my guess is she hasn't fully processed her trauma. a lot of trauma survivors (including myself until recently) end up just romanticizing/fetishizing their trauma as a way of "reclaiming their sexuality" or feeling like they're "in control" (if u know nicole dollanganger, her music does a similar thing) when in actuality, it feeds into damaging their self worth and, given stwawbeweymilk's large audience, it can put a lot of bad ideas into the minds of others. i don't blame her, since i know that that's a pretty common thing with sexual abuse victims--they genuinely do feel like they're empowering themselves and sometimes, it actually does benefit their recovery--but i do think it's kinda wack that she's monetizing it all.

Another reason why this (the art) is problematic is because she makes MONEY off of it. I get it, have done and have seen trauma art but it gets to a WHOLE new level when it’s *public, *explicit, and *profitable. Last i remember, she holds commissions AND sells her explicit art. SELLS THEM. Fiction still affects reality and while it’s true trauma survivors could be buying her work, but it scares me to think about the P/d/s and other creepy people buying her comics and art for inappropriate reasons.
People are ignoring this. Her selling it does not put her in a good light. Too many red flags are being ignored because people want to baby this person or they dont want to call it what it is. A victim can become a abuser unfortunately.
Although Loli is not the same level as CP, it’s still gross as to why a person would find a character with child-like appearance to be sexy. Also, I appreciate how you talk about this calmly and not letting your emotion taking over.

I think the difference between strawberry's art and actual trauma art, even in depicting the same themes, is that hers is too aesthetically pleasing and "clean," if that makes sense. It lacks the intensity of someone going through a traumatic moment, like being messy or distressing to look at. Hers is very deliberate and includes anime blushes.

Vent art is valid. You have every right to draw your trauma, etc. There's nothing wrong with THAT. What IS wrong is putting it on a public platform to be consumed either willingly or unwillingly. You can't control what happened to you in the past and you can't really be shamed for doing what you need to do to cope IN PRIVATE or between you and your therapist. @Navinci art isnt reality. art therapy is supported by therapists. if i can draw violent imagery like jason vorhees killing teens then i dont rly see why sexual art is any different. wouldnt both be seen as depictions of "child abuse". i used to be naive like you until i spoke to my therapist and they helped me realize that the desire to creat trauma art that fetishizes my trauma is natural bcs creating art like that is a way survivors can recreate our trauma and feel empowered by the power we wield to write the stories within our boundaries and comfortability.
Yenrisan I’m sure that if you told your therapist that your trauma Art/coping mechanisms involved imagery of children being sexual or sexually abused then they’d disagree. Being vague about it or not showing your therapist what is really going on isn’t healthy and you’d learn quickly that this content isn’t healthy to consume. Drawing gore or murder content is different, as the purpose of that imagery is to shock or disgust, but cp is used to excite sexually. It’s not the same. And if kids being abused is within your comfort zone, maybe you should talk to your therapist a bit more

As a CSA and abuse survivor I’ve never felt the need to draw vent art to cope, I do art to help me escape bad mindsets and to cope, drawing stuff that reminds me of those negative feelings or events that happened just push me in the opposite direction. However, I support those who decide to, because, idk it’s not my art therefore it’s not my choice what someone else draws? But with that in mind I feel like if you post vent/trauma art online you should at the least add trigger warnings or tags or some kind of filter so that if it’s something that bothers others they can avoid it, I think it’s obvious that if it’s something that bothers you to the point of venting you should kind of expect it might be triggering to others and that’s kind of something you should avoid.
As a trans/transmasculine person myself, I can definitely say that being trans does not excuse problematic actions, and that calling a trans person out for problematic actions is not transphobic or bigoted in any way. This 'Strawberrymilk' person is disgusting.
If you know that your art comes from a place that is... traumatic, and that shows things that are very taboo and uncomfortable to talk about, would the correct place to share that art be a very public platform... and not with like... a therapist, people you trust, people you consider family that are helping you through these things?
Especially when your art features um..that...and youre bringing it on a platform notorious for having a p*** problem like twitter. I mean i understand you dont control who your audience is but still...
@@somerandomcommenteryoufoun7485 what do you mean by a corn (with a P if you catch my drift) problem? This statement kind of confuses me and I would like it if you elaborate on what you mean.
And it’s crazy that people just forget that the law (at least in the USA) says that drawn CP is STILL CP. If it is specifically drawn in a way that is meant to arouse (Like StwawbwewyMilk’s art) it is a form of CP. But something artistic like the paintings of Cherubs and such (which are not meant to arouse) does not count as CP. Literally Fetish CP art IS STILL CP. TLDR; Law says drawn CP is still CP
Look, if this vent art is helping her cope then she shouldn't be posting it online. This ain't just pictures of self harm, it's shit that is used for child grooming and the fact that she cannot see that is as worrying as it is frustrating.
As someone that was s*xually abused as a child, i would never do that kind of disgusting stuff. If i wanted to vent about what i lived, i would censor scenes that should be censored (and that she apparently doesn't do). For me, this really isn't a way at all to vent about anything. You don't have to show every single disgusting thing to make people understand. And sharing the scenes could traumatise children for example. Anyways, this is absolutely disgusting and shouldn't be labeled as "trauma art".
I dont understand why is cross dressing is mentioned next to the disgusting fetsihes. Kids can cross dress and its not inherently sexual only if the person intends it to be.
im a csa survivor and i draw vent art abt it but i never post that stuff bc i dont think it should be shown around and bc someone could see it as something its not
oh god not that artist. i remember people saying that she was using age regression as an excuse to draw the uhhhh... "VERY adult and possibly illegal" artwork. and those same people confirmed that age regression is *NOT SUPPOSE TO BE SEXUAL.* if it is, it's considered DDLG.

Even if it is trauma art, right, let's say we give her the benefit of the doubt. She doesn't have to post it online. That's my biggest thing about these situations, is trauma art is a coping mechanism and therapy tool, it doesn't need to be brandished in your digital portfolio. Draw whatever you want but maybe don't post it, especially when you know you'll more than likely get backlash for it. Because then it ceases to have any coping power, anyway, if it brings you more harassment on the internet (which I'm not saying calling out potential pedophilia is harassment, but let's face it, there are some people just calling her names and telling her to commit not alive).
and if they feel as if posting it will help, do it on a completely private account where you can monitor who follows you and so if you post things that are explicit minors or people who may find it triggering dont see it. not everyone can handle it or wants to see it. its the same idea as making a nsfw account for sexual or gorey art that not everyone wants to see
How tf does drawing kids in sexually explicit ways "vent art," especially if the stuff going on isn't done in a negative light? That's sketchy af. As someone who has made vent or trauma art a LOT in middle and high school, how tf does that qualify as "trauma art" and not "fetish art?" I don't even bother going after this person because it ain't worth my fragile *ss to shatter over. Karma will come back at them.
I can understand this kind of art. But just many other things people like and prefer in their lives, there must be limits to what you like and how you want to show it to others. I mean, there's a big difference between a furry is in thier natural space or home and a furry in a crowd full a stranger's. Not only are they're going to feel uncomfortable around you, you're also attracting negative attention. This is only an example though.
@@maximumforce8275 and also why post it? Wouldn't it trigger people who have PTSD about this? I can understand that it could be vent art, and vent art is usually pretty graphic in nature and content, but some things should be kept for yourself, because you can hurt someone.
On a personal level, I find that kind of art disgusting, to put it _mildly._ However, I'd also have to stand on principle and defend someone's right to create that kind of content. It's free expression, it's still a drawing, and at the end of the day, the art in and of itself isn't directly causing physical harm to anyone. Especially if there's a possibility that it really is the artist's way of expressing negative impulses that may be the result of mental illness or trauma. After all, contemplation and expression are not necessarily condonation. Not to mention, there are several artists whose main goal is primarily to subvert or push societal taboos. R. Crumb and the Underground Comix movement of the 70s and 80s comes to mind. _That said though,_ this mindset doesn't shield these artists from criticism or scrutiny. Personally, I'd wonder why you would want to post such obscene and questionable content on a platform as public as twitter (though given their lax attitude in monitoring MAPs and real CP rings, who knows). I'd also say that it's a good idea to keep a close eye on anyone who draws this type of content, regardless. As I said before, to express is not always to condone, but it still raises an eyebrow, and a few red flags.
Fargoth Ur Most people who do, have this 🔞 in their bios to let you know that it’s an adult account for adults only. Some of them even have their account set to private. I wouldn’t speak for Japanese creators however.
I like to call this the "you can post whatever you want but dont be surprised when people are disgusted by you" rule Like.....nobody can physically stop you from drawing little girls being peed on, but you also cant stop them from calling you out for that either. Either grow a thicker skin if you wanna be into weird nasty shit or post it where other people like you reside, some of whom go farther than just drawings.
This is basically what I would have it boiled down to as a point more or less. But I do think the targeting of her specifically is out of hand. It's some months since creepshows video and we know creepshow was wrong in her legality argument as well as how she distributed something she believed to be illegal. It goes to show a bit how quick people who hate this stuff are to seek out, pursue, and distribute content they find disturbing. There is no question in my mind more minors found and looked at Strawberry's art than would have if people left well enough alone and discourse/criticism stayed in smaller circles amoung adults prepared for the conversation. That said, puppymilk 100% read as a purely trauma comic. I have friends who use art to cope who I could imagine making similar content. Everything else on her twitter was definitely more questionable to me and I did side eye it in a major way. However I don't think you really have to look far at all for equally questionable art, especially strange depictions of children, that are more celebrated than lambasted to the same degree people are going after this very small artist. I mean: Big Mouth is an entire show ran by mainstream and celebrated comedians. I think who gets taken down for this kind of content or any allusion to anything unpleasant is not a matter of how upsetting the content is, but how easy the content creator is to attack. If "its disturbing and I don't like it" was a reason for me to try and get art completely wiped from existing: it's not possible or feasible, and I don't think productive at actually curbing genuinely harmful depictions, and specifically keeping children from viewing them. Critique should be equally protected but calling someone a pedo on Twitter for their art is very easy, defending freedom of expression you (or I) frankly don't like or are uninterested in viewing is hard. It's very taxing and unrewarding to protect the rights of things that appeal to nothing you enjoy and your sense of distaste. This reminds me very much of the whole Drakinator situation which I heard of in passing and am now more familiar with. Basically, this person was a popular artist and in their zeal to prove "this art is immoral and bad" of another artist, they sent NSFW to a minor. And unfortunately for them after being a very hardline moral arbiter of "good" or "bad" art, they had no sympathy after doing this. They threw stones only to find themself in a glass house. I do want to say I don't think the harrassment they recieved after was okay and it seems to me they have taken a step back to improve, but the hate the "morally bad" artist in these situations recieve isn't good or healthy either. Frankly I expect lots of people who make it their buisiness to seek out this content and clutch their pearls to end up in similar circumstances because being a moral crusader is not a sheild from the same criticisms. Once people have a reason to take you down people will find a reason. The only way to have bulletproof content against accusations of it being problematic in some way is to create completely saccharine content that says nothing at all.

I personally don’t ever show my trauma art. That is, unless, my therapist asks me to do so. I do agree, in some instances trauma art is sellable, like anxiety and depression. I find it so icky that she’s selling her trauma away, that’s basically blocking it out.
She never said it wasn’t valid 😀

theres timws where her art is definitely trauma art, but then theres times where its definitely fetish art and its so jarring. because you go from raw emotion and the inner child of someone screaming to judt... porn. and i hate it bc aggie genuinely has good art when it comes to the ACTUAL trauma art. i remember she made one drawing for puppymilk that had her MC with a giant hole in his torso while a character was talking abt sex iirc, and with that it was obviously trauma art because it can definitely feel like that.

Hello.
I agree 👍

I know this from experience (jumping back to my work)
I have seen someone who I can't say much about the situation besides they were raped a lot and they were a child.

@@justanotheranimationchanne5725 I don't mind that kind of thing. I have weird kinks too. But telling people it is okay for you to draw that kind of things because you dont know better cause of your age when not the case and also you obviously know better.

I want them to know that isn't safe or healthy for their age until they are older. Which a lot of people arent prepair for that outcome.
Also telling others you are a lot younger and stuff just make things bad in long run if one of the others you talk to is really that young or close to that age
Kids should be off the internet, thats it really
@@asealdenmogd4232 that is impossible to do. My 8 year old niece is home schooled and most of her peojects she has to do internet research. Both of them have accidentally went to other sites or found something that they didn't understand (but us adults did) and we had to fix the issue.
With COVID more kids are being home schooled and that means more are online. Those internet filters work but not fully. Stwawbwewwy honestly scares me. It's scary, how she is able to draw things that are 100% CP and yet somehow is able to defend it as "trauma art".
There are actual art youtubers who are DEFENDING her because of it. Like "Omg she needs to draw that to get over her abuse".
This is so so scary to me, because what she is doing IS WRONG!
I think it's called the protect act or something (not sure though, since I am not a law professional) but essentially it means, that drawn CP is still CP.
I think with her it's mostly hard to do something about it, since she draws all her characters in this cutesy style, that makes it hard to see, wether she is drawing kids or "cute" adults.
Caspariana oh man the law is going to have a field day when it finds out lolicon exists and has been perfectly legal since ever.

crossdressing isn't wrong to do unless it is sexuallizing a child.
my guess is she hasn't fully processed her trauma. a lot of trauma survivors (including myself until recently) end up just romanticizing/fetishizing their trauma as a way of "reclaiming their sexuality" or feeling like they're "in control" (if u know nicole dollanganger, her music does a similar thing) when in actuality, it feeds into damaging their self worth and, given stwawbeweymilk's large audience, it can put a lot of bad ideas into the minds of others. i don't blame her, since i know that that's a pretty common thing with sexual abuse victims--they genuinely do feel like they're empowering themselves and sometimes, it actually does benefit their recovery--but i do think it's kinda wack that she's monetizing it all.
Also why the fuck is she sharing this?
@@wannabehistorian371 Sharing and having people agree with you is kind of something that gives you a feeling of push that you're doing something right. Validation.

Portgas D Ann Except maybe look for it in an IRL support group? Not the judging eyes of the internet?

I think tramua art can be anything tbh but it gets fucked when you're genuinely selling it especially if it involves minors smashing ect
hey lol i'm someone who does try to make my trauma art pleasing to the eyes. u know why? it calms me down n allows me to concentrate all my negative emotions into smth 'pretty'
so while what aggy is doing is VERY wrong, ur claim is incorrect bcuz there is a lot of trauma/vent art that looks pleasing to the eyes
It's when you thrust that shit onto other people and fling it into public spaces where it can HARM OTHERS does it become an issue. TL;DR: So the "my trauma art tho" excuse doesn't fly sorry strwabuddy
That why there is a warning.
exactly, even looking at my old trauma art triggered me a little, and I'm pretty stable atm. I can't imagine what would happen if people who get triggered by that kind of stuff saw it.

If you think people deserve death threats over art then fuck you.
This is the best take so far, imo.

@@Phos67 it doesn't sound like it includes death threats either, but I understand where you're coming from. 5:15 well that went from 0-100 real fkn quick
The thing about drawing trauma art is that… you really don’t have to post it. Why put out content that allows creeps to groom kids and hurt them in the same way you were hurt? Not posting vent art is still therapeutic and doesn’t perpetuate the cycle. Just my thoughts but… calling it a coping mechanism doenst excuse the content
No, bcs this can sometimes enforce feelings that our trauma art is something that is repulsive and needs to be hidden which can be harmful to victims.
plus, youre not responsible for creeps using your content to groom kids. thats like saying candy stores are responsible for kids getting kidnapped for "free candy". please be careful with your wording bcs it almost sounds like youre making an excuse for the pedophile in a "well if this art didnt exist then little timmy wouldnt have gotten groomed"
Yenrisan if your trauma art involves kids doing sexual things then it IS repulsive and needs to be hidden??? What’s not clicking 😐
And if kids being abused is within your comfort zone, maybe you should talk to your therapist a bit more
@@SimpleChaos i second that

And its not just kids who can get the idea its OK. Ever heard of loli content? You know the fan base who indulges in it? Grown ass adult men who think its ok.
And while yes sfw spaces aren't free of creeps nsfw spaces are more likely to attract them. Seriously do you know what its like to own an nsfw account? If that vocal minority is as large and prevelant to where its a common issue just imagine the silent majority in the shadows getting the idea its OK to look at child porn cause "its not hurting anyone".
People need to stop saying "oh well its a drawing so its not real" when people will use fiction as surrogates for their own thoughts and emotions. You ever hate a character? Love a character? Got sad when a character died? Its like that but they get sexual pleasure from an underage or visually immature character that their brain interprets as a person to an extent.
Exactly!
and if they feel as if posting it will help, do it on a completely private account where you can monitor who follows you and so if you post things that are explicit minors or people who may find it triggering dont see it. not everyone can handle it or wants to see it. its the same idea as making a nsfw account for sexual or gorey art that not everyone wants to see
How tf does drawing kids in sexually explicit ways "vent art," especially if the stuff going on isn't done in a negative light?

Exsactly. With their logic if it is actually "Tramua art" then who's to say that art might not trigger PTSD or a panic attack?
@@maximumforce8275 and also why post it? Wouldn't it trigger people who have PTSD about this? I can understand that it could be vent art, and vent art is usually pretty graphic in nature and content, but some things should be kept for yourself, because you can hurt someone.

On a personal level, I find that kind of art disgusting, to put it _mildly._
However, I'd also have to stand on principle and defend someone's right to create that kind of content.
I like to call this the "you can post whatever you want but dont be surprised when people are disgusted by you" rule
Like.....nobody can physically stop you from drawing little girls being peed on, but you also cant stop them from calling you out for that either.
Numa Numantis People actually really criticized Big Mouth for this.
“Whose main goals are to subvert societal expectation”
If that’s the case for these drawings then that makes it even worse.
