I live in western Idaho, and everyone's Iris's are blooming now! It is such a treat to see the Iris's and other beautiful flowers in Derbyshire, England. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into your videos. I also love the background music you select. It goes perfectly with the scenery. Thanks again.
Oh wonderful! They’re such a welcome sight aren’t they? 😍 I know I’ve certainly enjoyed them this week. That’s very kind of you to say Pam, thank you - and so pleased you enjoy our wanderings ☺️ Hope you’ve had a great weekend!
I so appreciate how you lovingly chronicle stately homes, cottages, countrysides and gardens in all their seasonal glory. I’m working my way through episodes I missed before finding your delightful vlogs. I have nine to go and I will be completely up to date. My love of all things English has grown in recent years since finding out that a quarter of my genetic heritage comes from your shores. I may never get there, but sharing your jaunts with you and your family let’s me feel as though I’m seeing the amazing sites in England. Marilyn, Ohio, USA
I've just discovered your wonderful videos and I adore them. You allow us to feel we're right there, wherever you are. You open up a world most of us can only dream of. Thank you so very much!
It’s been a joy to watch and relax to your adventures. I live in sunny California, but can admire from afar all the beauty you share as though I’m on foot taking notice through your eyes. Thank you!
So pleased you’ve enjoyed our outings this week 🥰 It’s been such a glorious, sunny one finally after weeks of rain! Hope you’ve had a lovely weekend across the pond ☺️
Both of those places were lovely! The gardens on the second place were so elaborate. Just beautiful! Heidi is so sweet! You both look like you enjoyed the day together. Thank you for the tour around such beautiful places!❤
Love your videos, I haven't been to Haddon Hall for years. Now it's on my list to visit this year. Renishaw looks stunning as well. Hope you're all keeping well.
Thank you for saying 🥰🙏 I absolutely adore Haddon! Are you local to Derbyshire? If so they’re giving 30% off entry for the foreseeable so may be a good time to revisit! Renishaw Hall is another beauty for sure, well worth popping by if you can. Happy weekend! ☺️
Super video Stacy, Ive been to Haddon Hall but not Renishaw Hall, gorgeous, the gardener does a wonderful job.Lovely to see Heidi enjoying the visits too, take care.
Thank you Christine ☺️ They’re both gorgeous properties and the gardens in summer are wonderful. If you get chance to pay a visit to Renishaw it’s really worth it! Aw yes, Heidi loves our days out together 🥰 Happy Sunday!
When I make it across the pond, Renishaw Hall is number one on my list. I'm fascinated by the Sitwell family history. Actually, Derbyshire as a whole looks like a wonderful place.
I’m so glad you enjoy seeing all these gorgeous places with us ☺️ I shall definitely see if I can get the subtitles turned on for future episodes to make it easier for viewers. Hope you’ve had a lovely weekend 🥰🙏
Nearby Raleigh at Fearington Village a small herd of belted Galloway cows reside. They Are used for atmosphere and Part of the logo. Beautiful animals and a rare breed. One More fine video by you and The little gem. Heidi of course!
Lovely video! We've been to Haddon several times and love it! We've never been to Renishaw though... Do you know if they allow the taking of pictures on the house tour? 😊
Thank you 🥰 so pleased you’ve visited Haddon! My favourite house in the country. Renishaw is lovely, only open at certain times of the year for house tours though and no, I don’t remember photos being allowed inside as it’s still very much a family home 💛
I’ve only ever been inside the once and that was 6.5 years ago when Heidi was in a sling lol but it was a case of no photography then. May well be worth checking now though 😊
@theslowtravelsfamily Thankyou 😊 we are historic house addicts... we love your channel, it's one of our "go to's" always beautifully filmed and super informative 👏
In my town in the US beef has become hard to find.Cant find chuck rost and beef cutlets at Kroger store. They said they have cut down on ordering meat. Its very expensive.I dont know any farmers to buy meat from.
What fruit is this at ua-cam.com/video/Q2CMJb7zims/v-deo.html ?Seems far too early for apples though that's what they look like. Here in France they tend to appear in Autumn.....

A Californian who has had a lifetime love affair with your amazing country, thank you so much for these videos. I am enjoying them so much.
