I bought one 64GB recently for under £150 Uk version and it is very good. Last update android 14. Plenty fast and smooth. TabA 9+ gets better reviews and better specs but cost £40 more. Less if buy non EU version.
I just do not understand every UA-cam video I have seen on Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 is just trashing. This tablet saying it’s garbage. I have the Samsung galaxy tab A8 128GB love it
@@NMBUS24 That is because you were smart enough to give yourself ample room for the 128GB and 4 gig of ram to do updates. If you have a fast Wi-Fi 6, that helps as well. This is a tablet for streaming and not much else.
i got one back in August. i use every now and then and never had an issue. i slapped a Micro Sd card in and was good to go! be it Facebook, youtube, listening to music and watching movies. lil bit of gaming i tried Minecraft, Call of Duty mobile, boom beach, 8ball pool etc. i even used a ps5 controller with it while gaming. i slapped a Unicorn beetle Armour Case/screen protector on it & still looks A1.
When powered off DOES THE CHARGING EVER FINISH? I tried one of these and it would just spin and spin at 100 for hours never actually completing the charge cycle
When powered off and plugged in does the charging ever stop? Does the spinning stop and it saying fully charged or something so you know charging is COMPLETED?
I have an a8 32 gb, bought it in 2022. Had an issue wi5h internal storage, runs full in a few weeks called samsung, they knew the problem. I sent it to repair they say we put on an new configuration......but it still runs full like hell. Have you an solution? I put in an sdcard, but not all apps can you restore. Please help.
I have this same tablet. I bought it mainly as an e-reader and it's adequate in that regard. It's not the recommended 300 ppi but at 216ppi it works even for long periods. My biggest complaint about this tablet is the glare factor. I was a bit disappointed with the four speaker sound. It's a bit tinny sounding by itself but works great if hooked into a secondary sound system or with headphones.
Moving apps to the SD card is horribly clunky. EVERYTIME an app updates it moves BACK to the internal storage until you manually move it BACK TO THE SD
I am elderly. This is my second Samsung tablet. I have 64 gb. Now 6 months old and it lags, locks up frequently, many times an hour. I hate it. Sorry I bought it. Someone in a review said Samsung knows about problem. Also, I am unable to return my old Samsung to factory settings so have no idea how to discard it.
Cheap Tablets are only for watching videos and reading books, or maybe use as a second monitor of a laptop. If you want to do more, you should just get iPad.
Hi there, I've just received mine but I honestly feel the sound is quite thin. I had the Samsung Galaxy SMT510 and the sound was warmer, sounded great and it wasn't screechy thin like this one. I feel a bit let down because it wasn't cheap. I listen to music and watch videos on it that's my main useage for it. But is there anyway to change the sound to make it more stereo sounding or... I mean I can see it has Dolby Atmos I don't know what this is as it doesn't change much but a fraction of sound. Still a bit shit. Thanks for ur vids though very helpful. Please let me know if anyone has any ideas as i really wanna send it back to Amazon and buy the one I had that broke. Samsung galaxy T510 10.1 inches as the sound was very good..
Thank you so much for this video. Gotta ask. I own both a laptop and a smartphone. Do you feel like it's even worth getting a tablet at all? I'm super on the fence of buying one.
I used to be in the same boat. I went ahead and bought a tablet and found that I really enjoy the bigger/more portable screen for browsing internet and watching videos/movies around the house as opposed to using my smartphone or the bigger more awkward laptop. It's a preference thing but I would suggest trying out a tablet.
For me it wasn’t (a bargain)….it was actually the opposite: a waste of money and time - I got it in February, but had to return it after only a few days because the wi-fi connection kept dropping to unusable levels or disconnecting altogether….and from what I read later it wasn’t just unlucky me getting a faulty unit, other users reported similar problems. In short, don’t buy this tablet. Go with the Xiaomi Redmi Pad or (if you have a bit more budget) either the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite or the Xiaomi Pad 5.

It depends on what for you are using. A8 is not suitable for playing games or multitasking.
Had two tablets neither will connect to Google anybody else have this problem would love to know
I’ve got a 64GB Wifi A8, ❤ mine (more storage than the 32GB A7 I own).

thank you for the video. Could you please tell me if you can take notes on the Tab A8? if so, could you please provide me with a link where to get it?
I just purchased one. Can someone please tell me if it is normal for it to take more than a minute to start up when it is turned off?
It has a GPS chip also, so you can use off-line maps for navigation.
nice so i can use maps anywhere?

You mean get a more expensive/better spec'ed tablet. An iPad isn't the best solution for all.
