Just picked one up yesterday, android is the best. Ive been using it all morning and found it works great. The Battery life is great. I slapped a screen protector on and picked up an armour case too keep it some what safe from scratches n smudges. Great device i paid like 350+ and am happy with my purchase. Linked up my blue tooth headphones and chucked in a 64gb micro sd card. It suits my everyday needs thats for sure. I had always wanted a solid tablet and finally got it 😊
i just bought this for my mom and she's loves it. For her usage, she doesn't need a high end/fancy tablet but something basic. The last tablet that I bought for her was in 2019 and it finally crashed on her. She's happy. Thanks for the video.
I dropped my trusty old tab s5e on the floor last night. It was getting rough around the edges (figuratively and literally) so I was likely going to have to replace it soon anyway. I guess this forced my hand. 😢 My initial thought was excitement that I had an excuse to get a shiny new tab s9 in a couple of weeks. But I’m going to be sensible about this. The s9 looks amazing, but for how I actually use a tablet it’s utterly unnecessary. The A8 looks like the appropriate successor for me.
Yeah, that'd have been awesome but I still don't regret buying it cause I got its 4+64gb variant at 120$ with nice foldable cover & tempered glass. So no complaints for that cheap price plus budget Tablets always lacks processing power & update support specially when compared to equally priced smartphones. They launched it with Android 11 & now it's on Android 13 plus they atleast provided One UI 6's multitasking features with One UI 5.1.1 update. & for that I appreciate Samsung. At the end of the day when you need a cheap device that just works then this one is for you😊
Was thinking of getting this but I've just seen that it's been leaked that the A9 is due for release soon so will hold off until then. Hopefully the A9 will have better touch response
main reason I'm buying this because I'm too lazy to bring my laptop at my uni so I'll rather have a mid ranged tablet to use for my notes and online class
Would you recommend this tablet if it's going to be used in fully kiosk browser mode at a business all day everyday? If not, what affordable tablet would you recommend?
Costco black Friday deal. $180. Can't beat the price. Coming from a Tab S3 this processes everything faster. However the screen is subpar. Everyhing looks bleached out. Blacks aren't blacks. So a little give and take. In terms of downloading and multitasking comparing it to the Tab S3 it's night and day difference. Wiah the screen was better.
Samsung needs to start offering 8-inch high-end tablets again. The last great Android tablet of that size was the Nexus 7 2013. Android excels more at that size than a semi-productivity device that's more than 10 inches.

I HAVE IT ON ANDROID 14!!!!!!
Erm my Tab A8 just upgraded to Android 14 etc do well happy😊
same here...I saw a tip if you want to make it fast remove battery optimation for the one UI app.
I heard it's a life changer
The A8 is great for basic productivity tasks and media consumption. If this floats your boat, then this tablet is the best value for your $
I just wish for 1 more year of software/security updates 🥲

Do you have that sim?
do you know when the tab A9 will come out?
If I have an Samsung smartphone, should I buy it for the ecosystem? Or raise some more for the s7 Fe
I recommend waiting for the A9 or the base S7
There is a 2020 A8 AND a 2022 A8. The update cycle is different.
Yup, this is the 2022 version.
What UI is this? Do all recent Samsung tablets have it? It looks like an iPad with the list of apps on the bottom.
Had an old tablet Tab a 2017 model and finally spoiling myself this christmas 😂
Im considering trying an android tablet again, im using duet 5 now
Nice! Which one are you leaning towards?
I am watching this on my 64gb A8. Got it for $60. This tab does get Android 14 in February 🎉

Imagine being so lazy that you can't even bring a fucking laptop with you 💀
Yeah why not? Lazyness isn't always bad characteristics

Could you do a home screen designed tutorial for this

Samsung and other manufactures need better processors because they are sluggish! Im using the TCL Tab 8 with SD 6XX and its better then some tablets
💯
Is it good for watching movies
I really like this trick thank you.
I m using A8 with android 14
Anyone facing any problem related GPS IN this device because my gps is not working in my samsung tab a8

Now with smaller bezels, the base Galaxy Tab S6~S8 is actually a pretty compact size! I'd say it's pretty comparable.
@@hoyoungwon You make a great point! I think Android Tablets make more sense in that form factor.
why is mine lasting only 8 hours on full charge.
Poor screen quality
It is it has that blueish display and the screen is dark the colors aren't pose to look blueish 😅😅
