I measured the delay at just 12ms - easily compensated for in room correction, no different than a sub's onboard amp DSP. I use it for my crowson amp behind the seats, works perfectly :)
Great review!!!! I was on the fence about adding these to support my subs and rear surrounds, but I am looking forward to getting them in-house for a spin.
If you're speaker timing I believe it's a 27ms delay. If you're main speakers are around 5 - 6 feet from listening, you find it hard/impossible to time your overall delay.
I'm thinking of connecting a turntable to an amplifier using this svs wireless system (actually to be more precise, a pre-amp which is connected to a turntable to an amp). However I'm thinking that I'll lose the analog quality of vinyl listening using this wireless communication device which is definitely digital. What is your opinion on this?
Great video Brad as always - I recently moved my two PB 1000 Pro subs to the back of my room and purchased the first generation SVS Wireless adapters to make this move possible. While they do seem to work pretty well, I do hear occasional sounds from the subs (popping, maybe interference, etc) that maybe these newer versions would take care of. Might have to try them out and see! Thanks again
@@taseti4803 I did not try them out. I decided to run a longer run of RCA cables to the back of my room to make sure it would take care of the issue. If you search my name and find my youtube channel you can find the video I did on doing this, and how the wireless adapters were set up in my room.
I’m interested in getting one of these to send signal to my rear sub. Both of my front subs and my rear sub run through my mini dsp hd. Im assuming that I would just plug the receive into my mini dsp’s designated outlet for my rear sub and that would work as intended. What do you think? Also, what if I wanted multiple receivers to make all three subs wireless? I’m guessing I would need three transmitters, one for each mini dsp outlet. What’s your thoughts?
Bought mine as an open box so it was discounted to 150.00, still pricey, but if it works as well as yours did then it will be worth the cost. Bought mine to add a 3rd sub, ( DIY build Eminence Lab 12 C Pro series 12" passive and powered by an OSD SMP1000 amp,} and did not want to crawl below the house to run another cable.
Hi Brad please tell me can i use svs tri - band adapter for dolby atmos since I do not have the ability to lay on the ceiling to my Anthem MRX for sound atmos and dolby dts X or can you advise something better I understand this is the most modern device for wireless connection of speakers . I just want advice from you how this can work with my ceiling active channels for atmos sound
Hi Brad, I am a little late joining the party but would like to ask the following. I have 2 SVS SB3000, would I have to buy 2 of these units to keep the subs in sync?
You would buy one send/receive kit and then one extra receive unit. So, one transmitter and two receivers. I have the original Soundpath wireless units, and they worked flawlessly.
Brad, It sure is nice to hear that the SVS adapter transmits full range audio and not just bass. Thanks for sharing that.

Awesome to hear and thanks for posting your findings here. Also, thanks for stopping by! Been a fan and subscriber for quite a while.

I run 2 subs, 1 transmitter, 2 receivers.
Works great

Hello Ty,
Did you ever purchase the tri-band adapters? If you did, do you still hear the occasional popping noises coming from your rear subwoofers?

@@TyEichele Thanks for the response. Based on your results, I'm going to do the same thing you did and run longer rca cables to my rear subs.

This can transmit thru four walls . That would be much better than the original that could not go through one person .
Would these work for connecting two SVS subwoofers into a Sennheiser Ambeo Max soundbar?

If i used this with a mini dsp 2x4. say using two receivers for rear subs, wouldn't i then only be able to calibrate them as a set?
Nice to hear.
