    $230 for a dual remote that WORKS is damn cheap, the humidity points are what concern me also, but knowing Gunther he has tested it in every environment. Looking forward to receiving mine

    I wonder if you can have a look at the timelapse+ view intervalometer which is very similar however its much better build and comes with the monitor to view the shots. Would love to hear your input comparing these 2 products.

    When you mentioned how expensive this is I was thinking $100-150. When I took a look at the price I was rather shocked. Great looking product though. Glad to see Gunther has brought it to the market 👍🏻

    This is interesting. I am really struggling with day to night and all the flicker it causes in post. And yes I am aware that I should stop using Aperture priority. 🤷🏼‍♂️ You looking rested man.

    • @MatthewVandeputte
      @MatthewVandeputte  5 років тому +1

      Just shoot it on manual, the more you do it the easier it gets. This remote doesn't have a holy grail mode or anything but it does work great when doing it the manual way or when pairing it with qdslrdashboard!

    • @marquisaof2757
      @marquisaof2757 4 роки тому

      Idk if this is too late, but the LRTimelapse software takes care of flicker, exposure change, and temperature change from Day-to-Night timelapses.

      These are two different type of products. The Pro Timer is a superb intervalometer whilst the View is some kind of an all-in-one device. It has an intervalometer with an included bulb ramping function (day to night/night to day timelapse). It automatically changes your camera settings based on the light conditions (only if your camera is supported).
      When you use the Pro Timer for day to night or night to day timelapse, and you dont want to change settings on your camera manually, you need an extra software called qDSLR dashboard. The good thing, it's cheap or complete free. I think the android version costs 9.47€. PC is free.
      Sadly qDSLR has no Fujifilm support. I would def sell my Timelapse+ View, but it can control my Fuji!
      Fuji users are always f***ed lol. It's the same with gimbals. No fucking company supports Fujifilm.

    Matthew - and what do you think about hardware like this? www.elysiavisuals.com/content/elysiavisuals-ramper-pro-3d-ramper-usb-timelapse-controller. I mean that the difference that I see between Gunter's Pro Timer 2.5 and RamperPro3 Kit is a light sensor which could be quite usefull.

    tell me straight, does this replace the tc-80n3? or is it any better or ill get the same result just with my remote? i think my point is, do i really need it if i have a tc-80n3

    • @MatthewVandeputte
      @MatthewVandeputte  5 років тому

      If you're comfortable shooting with the TC then keep it, I still use it as it is hard to beat as far as set up times go. I'd say the LRT remote is useful when you need the specific features (interval ramping for instance, or triggering multiple cameras)

    Why is it called the "2.5"? Was there a "2.0"? Is there a "3.0" on the horizon? [I understand we can shift in 0.1 intervals, but still: think large, big picture ;-) ]
