      Hi! Menstrual suffering is not fair, but you can make a lot to avoid cramps.
      If you like, see my other message to Ventiny Mohan and then write again: I will happy to help you.

      +Feee Lion have you seen your gyn regarding this? It's a good idea to get checked for endometriosis. Endo is a condition that is the most common cause of bad period cramps that leads to vomiting etc.

    Because of watching your video a few months back I decided to try the black strap mollases! It’s has been worth it , don’t cramp anymore , my breasts are not tender the week before my period comes ! My period has gone from 7 days to 4 days ! I use it everyday day morning and night and have introduced my friends to it as well ! Ladies try it , it’s natural and so worth not having to take medication everytime a period comes , it’s been three months I have been using it and period keeps getting even better !

    Ladies, just as a side note, in honor of March being the Endometriosis awareness month. If anyone is struggling with really bad painful periods, where you're curled up in bed and can't go about your normal day, or you have any other unexplained pelvic/hip/back pain. It's time to see your gyn and ask if you might have what is called Endometriosis. It's a condition that many women have today, and always had, but it's becoming more prevalent today. Thankfully because more women are searching for answers. If you're hurting, it's not normal. Contrary to what we've been told, painful periods are NOT normal. Different things could be causing it, often it's endometriosis. Talk to your gyn about it, if they don't listen and dismiss you, then look for another doctor. There's great ones out there, I promise! Just be persistent, your body deserves it! Good luck loves! :)

    Molasses is super high in calcium. They should have commercials like GOT MOLASSES? Its basically all the nutrients removed from cane juice to make white sugar. All milk does is give you health problems and osteoporosis. Your body doesn't like it. So why would it do the body good.

    • @gernert09
      @gernert09  10 років тому +15

      I agree! I'm so glad the milk campaign has diminished

    • @sabyjcarrasquillo3872
      @sabyjcarrasquillo3872 5 років тому +1

      I don't agree. My body doesn't produce calcium. Milk for me is essential and necessary to preserve my life. I disagree with your comment. You shouldn't base yourself on your experience only. You should be sensitive to others and their needs. Calcium is essential for survival. So is milk. Where I come from, the purest form of milk is very rich. The processed milk may not have much nutrients but there are other forms that do provide the richest form. It's all about knowledge. Molasses is also excellent because it stops my severe menstrual pain and Menorrhagia.
      As for the person who posted this video. I do it with milk and a bit of sugar. If you don't want the spill run it under warm water and it will clean up nicely. It dissolves under warm water. When you pour twirl it and before you seal wipe it. I use this almost relugiously.

    Hi! I tried the blackstrap molasses for about 20 Days before my period started (and yes, it does taste bad) and I could already recognize a difference. There were a little less cramps, the blood flow was lighter and there was no headache at all. I am looking forward to experiencing the results of it after the second month! I'm so thankful that I found this video and that you shared your amazing secret to us! If it continues working, I will spread it and help many other women with it too!

    This works, guys. My cramps are so bad I've had exploratory surgery to try to figure out why, but they never found anything. Normal hormones, no PCOS, no endo. Periods are regular, every month. Just insanely painful, ever since I had a cyst when I was 15. They never were before that, and no one knows why. Been taking a teaspoon of molasses every day for the past 3 months. First month, I was able to reduce my pain medication by half. Second month, only had to take one dose. Third month, NO CRAMPS AT ALL. Try this, guys.

    Hey Venus infurs, You mention you're a vegetarian, that's great! My menstrual cycles changed drastically when I gave up dairy. After going vegan I know longer suffered from any pains what so ever, and then I went high raw, and my periods are heavenly lol You're adorable btw.

      I'm noticing the same thing. I have been vegetarian for years but have been recently transitioning to vegan this month. I'm on my period right now and it's MUCH better than it has been in a long time. Pain (on a scale from 1-10) is like a 2-3, it was on a 4-6 when I was eating dairy and a 7-10 when I was eating meat.
      I will add blackstrap molasses to my diet and be more diligent with the herbs I take. I also like blackstrap for the other health qualities like hair. I'm hoping to get my period in the 1-2 range. Yay.

    I also have terribly heavy period with very painful cramps and vomiting. I will have to give this a shot, maybe in some Yogi's women's tea, which is something my friend suggested. I love how you do your eye makeup - have you done a cat eye tutorial? I use Instead SoftCups - they are disposable but I've heard they are making a reusable version. I had used a DivaCup before but even though it worked okay for me I found it really uncomfortable. I'm glad you made this video! Thank you so much for sharing this. I've had the same problems you described for the last 12 years - it's been really debilitating at times. The only thing that has ever helped is birth control, but I worry about the side effects of hormonal meds. Anyway, I've been doing this two months now, and have seen a HUGE change. FYI for those considering it, I make a 'tea' (just mix hot water and molasses) then froth with a little half n' half - it tastes like a gingerbread latte! Love it. Thanks again!

    I can't thank you enough for posting this video! I've been suffering from debilitating cramps for years and I tried the molasses just as you recommended: one tbsp a day. I also read on internet and it is recommended during the period to take up to 4 tbsps a day. So I took one table spoon a day for a month, and took 3 tbsps on the first day of period, and 2 tbsps the next. And oh miracle!!!!! I did have some cramps, but was able to function -- did not have to stay in bed all day! Thank you!!!!!!

    also if u want ur periods to not be so heavy try taking raw, organic apple cider vinegar (I use braggs), w/ this brand of molasses on the vid, also w/ 1/4 tsp of baking soda so it wont irritate ur intestines, in a cup of water 2-3 times a day and even more when ur period is on. my period now is SO light after doing this and barely lasts a day or 2 when it used to last up to a week and one time even for 2 weeks!
    again the recipe: 2 tbsp. ACV vinegar, some molasses however much u want, and 1/4 tsp. baking soda in one cup room-temperature water 2-3 times a day or more

    So I tried this, and I took this womans advice i found out that it works but you have to take it everyday for 1-3 months. I noticed a little of a difference. I have very bad bleeding and can't type, stand, sit, or look at something without feeling really in pain. I had to leave work today again. So I will keep trying this and giving updates. I noticed though that the bleeding lessened which makes me really really happy. I feel less lethargic as well. But not to the point where i can stop taking pain killers. I still have bad cramps and abdomen pain.

      Try Sarsaparilla root extract and chloride magnesium 500mg in caps or powder, you can buy it at VITACOST or IHERB.
      The fact that sarsaparilla has a progesterogenic action means that the herb can be used to bring relief to women suffering from symptoms of menopause and other menstrual problems, like the premenstrual syndrome. In certain cases where menopause is associated with debility and depression sarsaparilla can be very useful. source herbs2000.com

I would blackout from the pain of my periods and try to avoid drugs as much as possible but oooh the pain. Thanks to you I no longer have excruciating pain and can tolerate my period, and its lighter/shorter thank goodness. Also I have more energy, not anemic anymore, no more cold hands and feet either. With these results after just a month, im hooked for life. Thankyou =)

    I'm going to try this!!! I get the same symptoms you did. I literally sit there and cry the whole time because I'm puking... its honestly the worst thing ever and seeing how happy you were about sharing this news is so awesome of you! Something called "evening primrose oil" is also supposed to help. If you ever get cramps again, try it! you have to take it everyday though.
    Thank you soooo much!

    These comments make me so happy. I get discomforts on my period so not cramps just a burning like sensations and a headache before my period. My period lasts 8 days but I try to gaslight myself into thinking it’s only 4 cuz that’s when it’s normal bleeding the other 4 days is light, and brown blood. Hopefully with this I won’t have period symptoms and shorten my flow and make it lighter!

    I have bad vomiting, panic attacks, fainting, diarrhea, sweats, and horrible abdominal cramps that make me pass out when I get my period. I'm 25 now and my period has been like this since I started at 10yrs old. Finally i went to see my obgyn about it 2years ago, and decided i wasnt going to leave her alone until i got some answers. Well, come to find out I have estrogen sensitivity, PCOS, and severe endometriosis which r the cause of my symtoms. Now that I know what causes it I have switched to an all organic vegan diet &lifestyle to avoid the hormones in meats, and the nasty chemicals& MSG's put in processed foods & non organic fruits&vegetables these days. I also I'm going to have to have a surgery to disconnect my uterus, bladder, and colon which have all grown together with scar tissue due to the endometriosis. Changing my diet has helped alot, now I don't vomit everytime I eat & my panic attacks r less frequent& less severe. My body is basically allergic to any drastic estrogen change (yes, even my bodies natural estrogen changes at ovulation&menstruation).

    I researched a bit and I think it might be called "melaza residual" or "melaza concentrada". Basically, blackstrap molasses is very strong, thick, aged and concentrated molasses. Good luck, suerte amiga!

  • @chelseybell6914
    @chelseybell6914 11 років тому +1

    Yeah, the regular stuff only has 4% of your daily iron requirement, whereas the blackstrap stuff has a whopping 20%. I'm willing to bet that the other vitamins present in molasses (though not always listed on the label) exist in greater quantities in blackstrap as well (like potassium and copper). I've been getting mine in the natural foods section at Fred Meyer for $3.69/12 oz. I've had great results so far! Best of luck to you.

    Thank you so much for this! I've had horrible period cramps and I wanted to relieve them naturally. I'm also a vegetarian! :)
    Anyways, I bought the same brand of molasses that you have, from Amazon. I just started using it today. I bought some ginger tea (which is an herbal tea) and put some molasses in it and some sugar, and I couldn't drink it - the taste was extremely strong!
    So I tried disguising it in shakes, but those tasted pretty gross too. So I was like, "How else can I consume this?" And then, I remembered something my mom taught me back when I was a kid and took disgusting medicines. She told me to pinch my nose very tightly while taking the medicine.
    So, I took a spoonful of the organic molasses, pinched my nose very tightly, and licked the molasses from the spoon- without grimacing at all! Pinching your nose while eating it DEFINITELY helps if you think it tastes too strong like me and if tea doesn't work for you.
    I also LOVE how this has iron, magnesium, calcium, etc. As a vegetarian, I find myself struggling to find enough iron in my diet. I will let you know if this works with period cramps! I basically consider it as a daily vitamin I have to take. Thanks for the video and suggestions! Just remember to take this with food like a vitamin!

    Wow thank you so much!Just yesterday I had to be picked up early from school due to the overwhelming cramps. It felt like my stomach was caving in and I felt like I was having a fever one second the freezing the next. I could barely walk to the car and right before we got to my father's car I dropped to the floor and could barely breath, what makes it worse is that I have asthma and my period also effects that. I am even on birth control but it has been losing its effect and everything had been worse. I can't even drink or eat properly during my period, all I can do is sleep. But now I am going to try what this remedy and I really hope it works. Thank you so much for sharing!

    Im from México. I saw your video a few days ago. I was searching a cure for my wife, because she has a very heavy pain every month, since 12 years old. I am sad, because the many mexican doctors cant find a cure, and other doctors lie to us, and we pay for the lie, and my hope die every day more. The last doctor say, that she must be quit the matrix to quit the pain and cramps. Do you believe that?.....
    Please, if you can send me the name of the stores that can send the product to Mexico and please, write me the name complete of the product.
    Thanks a lot. God bless you.

    Thank you for this. I also have very painful cramps during my period. So painful that I can't walk for 4-7 days. I had my check up with an ob gyne, it turns out that I have endometriotic cyst on my right ovary about 5cm in diameter. The doctor gave me visanne pills to shrink the cyst and I have been taking the pills for ten days now. I am also looking for natural ways to shrink the cyst because I don't want to rely on the pills and I found out that black strap molasses can also help with the shrinking of the cyst. :)

    It wasn't supposed to be a controlled study, it was anecdotal evidence - and it worked for her. I sincerely doubt if a placebo would have that great of an effect. Also, non-organic molasses is usually flavored sugar, same with brown sugar. Organic molasses is different. Trace amounts of vitamins & minerals CAN make a difference when taken daily. I've had a chronic illness since childhood and I know how much GUESSING "educated" docs do. Some people can't metabolize synthetic vitamins.

    Blackstrap molasses is what's left when they take all the nutrients out of sugar. All the good stuff is in the molasses, so it's better than sugar. Personally, iron pills make me sick at my stomach and I'm sure others have a problem ingesting them as well. Molasses is natural and doesn't upset the stomach.

    Both iron and calcium help with period pain and it's true that they absorb better in liquid form. If one takes iron in tablet form one should take it with food to prevent obstipation. Also, don't mix iron with dairy products, tea and coffee as these stop iron from being absorbed. Btw. You are beautiful, have you ever thought about modeling?

    Placebo effect is spelled all over it! Molasses contains mostly sugar and trace amounts of other substances such as metals and vitamins the key word TRACE AMOUNTS therefore not enough to cause any effect on the body. So basically molasses is equivalent to raw sugar placed in your tea, no benefits just extra calories. If you want your period cramps to ease take magnesium supplements cause molasses sure doesn't have enough to do you any good.

  • @AmandaPufpaff

    I'm going to try this. So far I've tried everything under the sun naturally for these horrifying cramps. Evening primrose oil, cramp bark, Vitex (chasteberry), flax seed oil, magnesium citrate, real ginger root tea, raspberry leaf tea, shatavari, and even recently went off meat & dairy and ate pineapple during cycle avoiding spinach and kale, thinking its clotting that contributes to cramps. This month I'm back at square one. I have been doing these remedies for years and honestly they all help to a certain degree, but some months it doesn't matter how diligent I am, I feel like I'm in child birth with these excruciating cramps. It's so bad, I just can't even function, think, or move. I try hot baths with Epsom salts, i use a hot water pillow and just cry and cry... I've missed work countless times during the first day or two of the period. It's awful! I certainly have been sick and nauseous, never threw up, but definitely came close a few times. My pain is so bad I sometimes shake, and get so nervous I can't handle the pain and scream at times like a crazy person in labor!!! I usually will be on the toilet all day for day 1 pooping my guts out. I seriously think sometimes maybe I should just have my doctor do a procedure like ablation or remove it altogether. I do want to have a baby someday. I'm still young only 31, but I wonder sometimes if I've been pregnant and just miscarried all these times thinking it's a period. I don't want to go through this shit anymore. I'm so jealous of women who simply do not cramp!!! Like how the hell is this possible?! It's so frustrating to be dealing with this for years and there are no real solutions, except birth control... which I did for 7 years when I was 15-22. Us women need to stick together and help each other out! I really hope the organic black strap molasses helps. I'm hoping and praying.
    Im buying this asap and will give it an honest try as I have everything else. It's my one biggest problem I intend to solve!!! Thank you so much for sharing!

    "Hard" periods can be a symptom of poly-cystic ovarian syndrome, which is a very common female problem. I've heard that molasses works, but please, ask a doc about poly-cystic.
